“My team and I have had the great pleasure of working at Full Moon Resort since 2011! This resort is such an outstanding venue for weddings and events! As a wedding professional myself, I have always had such a sense of ease working here. Their staff has always been helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable, and they continue to offer this consistency year after year. I am never left worrying about who may or may not be working at each event that we are a part of. So many venues have a constant revolving door of employees, it can be very stressful not only for couples getting married when that happens, but also for the vendors. There is never any of that stress at this venue. In addition to the highly experienced staff who work here, the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, climate-controlled, with clean and spacious restrooms, and kept immaculately clean, which is impressive when many area venues are more rustic. I also always appreciate that there is a solid ceremony plan in place, no matter what the weather decides to do. As a florist, I really like the fact that this venue is a total "blank slate," so when it comes to wedding decor, couples are never limited with their design selections. This venue also has stunning grounds for some of the prettiest wedding photos! Seriously, even off-peak times of the year such as March and April are still stunning here, with their beautiful birch trees, and moss and lichen-covered rocks. If you are a couple looking for an ideal wedding venue, look no further than Full Moon Resort! P.S. Photo Courtesy of https://perennialimage.com/”

“We got married at Bad Seed in June 2024. It was the first venue we toured and we knew it was perfect right away. Devin, Albert, Brandon, and the rest of the Bad Seed team are so down to earth and communicative. They gave us great advice about how to make our wedding day amazing. We wanted to DIY our decor and music, bring in our own food vendor, and have a casual garden party vibe. Bad Seed was super flexible, letting us choose whichever vendors we wanted and giving us tips for great service providers in the area. Because they only do one wedding per weekend, we had the entire day before the wedding to set up (which we needed!) as well as the entire morning/afternoon before the big event. There was always someone at the venue to help with whatever we needed, even going above and beyond to help us lay out the tables and set up decor. We wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans with a heat wave and thunderstorm moving through the area. On the bright side, Devin and the Bad Seed crew made sure we could do the whole event inside -- even going out to buy a big industrial fan to make sure the taproom stayed cool (we didn't end up needing it, the AC did its job!). Bad Seed is also SO reasonably priced compared to other wedding venues in the area. There was no nickel and diming or hidden fees - just an honest price and a great value. During the actual event, the bar staff went above and beyond to take care of us, checking in on us throughout the night and bringing us drinks so we didn't have to wait at the bar. It really made us feel like a million bucks. Oh, and our guests were raving about the cider :) If you're looking for an awesome, picturesque wedding venue in the Hudson Valley, Bad Seed should be your top choice.”

“We absolutely loved everything about our experience at Skyview. From the moment we toured the venue, our breath was taken away with the majestic scenic views of the Appalachia. Our decision was further cemented when we learned everything that was included in their wedding package, an incredible value that beat all of the other venues we visited by a significant margin. We don't want to ruin it for anyone, but honestly they could double their rates and it'd still be worth it. The support from the staff at Skyview (specifically Jenn, Hildegaard, and Ivan) both during the planning process and on the day of our wedding was prompt, thoughtful, and comprehensive. We have never gotten married before but we can't imagine working with a more professional staff that made our planning unbelievably seamless and stress-free. Our guests echoed our sentiment with rave feedback about the picturesque scenery, the epic food, the beautiful cocktail hour space, and the stunning and classy reception room. Skyview is a hidden gem that I hope gets all the recognition they deserve!”

“The Garrison itself is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in person - and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the entire space came together perfectly for both the ceremony and reception. What really made the day seamless, though, was the team that supported us. Annie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute godsend. We were juggling unpredictable weather, miscommunications, and a whole lot of last-minute uncertainty, and she handled it all with such calm, measured grace. She kept things on track and gave us the gift of peace of mind - we truly couldn’t have done it without her. Fatima, my bridal assistant, was my right hand from the moment I arrived. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask - always three steps ahead, always composed, always kind. I felt fully taken care of, which is exactly what every bride hopes for. We’re so grateful to the entire team - thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and so easy to enjoy.”

“Our wedding weekend here was nothing short of perfect, and we owe so much of that to this incredible venue and their team. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of—stress-free, smiling ear to ear, and overwhelmingly grateful for the people making it all possible. Every detail was handled with such care—from coordination and organization to thoughtful touches throughout the weekend. The setting itself is stunning—the views left our guests in awe—and the food was absolutely fantastic. Having the chance to celebrate with our loved ones over an entire weekend, instead of just a few hours, was truly priceless. Goat yoga ended up being one of the most talked-about events, and our guests are still raving about it. The staff deserves the highest praise. Brandon, Katie, John, and Shelby went above and beyond to make us and our families feel welcome and supported. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless. Their list of trusted vendors also made planning so much easier, and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better fit for our celebration. Their help through the planning process was instrumental in planning a wedding weekend in just 5 months!! Our guests are still asking how we found such a magical place, and the truth is—we feel incredibly lucky. We are endlessly grateful to the entire team for making our wedding not just smooth, but truly the best weekend of our lives. If you’re looking for a venue that combines breathtaking views, amazing food, incredible accommodations, and a staff that makes you feel like family—look no further. “If you are considering booking Stonewall Estate for your wedding, JUST DO IT!!! When I saw photos online, I thought it would be the perfect place for our wedding, and then after speaking with the owner, Melanie, I was sold! She made us feel comfortable enough to book site unseen, and we do not regret it one bit! When we finally saw the venue and grounds in person, we were blown away. Melanie worked closely with our planner and other vendors to make sure our vision was executed perfectly. Our planner was not able to attend our wedding, so Melanie stepped in to coordinate day of, and everything went seamlessly. I also have to mention the onsite estate house and newlywed cottage. Both spaces are absolutely beautiful, and it was so nice to have all our close friends and family be able to stay on property; it made our weekend all the more special. Stonewalls' list of preferred vendors was extremely helpful and allowed us to build the perfect team for our day. I could truly never recommend them enough!!”

“We recently held our daughters wedding in the NY Catskills, during the 2025 Fall Foliage season. Our daughter created a cohesive vision that would be embedded throughout all of the wedding events (Rehearsal Dinner; Welcome Party; Wedding Day Ceremony & Reception; After Party and finally the Farewell Brunch). Her goal was to strike that unique vibe and ensure that every guest walked away from the weekend with a long lasting memory that differentiated the experience from most traditional weddings. Coordinating a wedding in the Catskills takes a lot of planning and coordination to deliver that unique experience for guests traveling from all over the country, especially when the attention for detail is a priority. One of the best decisions we made, was to choose French Woods Farmhouse, to be the venue to start & end our wedding weekend. French Woods Farmhouse was the venue for our Welcome Party as well as for our Farewell Brunch. The Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch at French Woods Farmhouse, exceeded our expectations in kicking off the wedding weekend & wrapping it up. The property & layout was so conducive for our Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch goals, in getting our guests quickly immersed into a Catskills Wedding vibe. Some of the featured highlights included: - Full Cocktail Bar - Live Music - Curated Catered Food with Service - Random Gathering Spots for Mingling, Eating & Drinking (including tables, seating, as well as space within their newly renovated barn) - Spontaneous Lighting Elements (on driveway, pond, trees) - Continuous Video Clips, projected on to the side of the barn - Massive Fire Pits for chilling & watching the stars (this was a HUGE hit) And all showcased on a meticulously manicured property that provided our guests with epic views of clear skies, rolling hills, foliage changing landscapes & ponds, all in a secluded space from the rest of the world! All of this would not be possible without the continuous orchestration with the owners of French Woods Farmhouse (Bruce & Denise). Throughout the entire planning process, they were in constant contact with us, as well as coordinating several visits to fine tune all of the details including reviewing various property visuals, layouts & configurations. (They literally created backup layouts as well, in the event of bad weather) They also are well connected in the area, in terms of services, rentals & activities, so when it came time to finalize the many details, they made it SO easy & frictionless. It was incredibly helpful to have their help in coordinating various aspects (eg., rentals, catering, servers, restroom trailers, cleanup crews, parking). While we leveraged French Woods Farmhouse for the Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch, in hindsight we should have also considered the Rehearsal Dinner and After Party events at this venue as well! The space is very dynamic to setup differently for each event scenario. FYI… We also happen to rent the main house for 8 of us to stay for the entire weekend. The attention to detail shown throughout the entire property is impeccable & impressive. The house is WELL stocked with all your needs, anticipating all scenarios & questions one would encounter while staying at their gorgeous home & property. (We also loved the farmhouse décor) Overall cleanliness… the entire house was extremely clean upon stepping in on our first day. Its clear that they prioritize this, as if they were staying themselves.”

“Yes! CHOOSE THIS VENUE!! You’ve found the right place! We are finally getting around to posting our review about the most perfect wedding venue we could have imagined! We saw Maple Shade November ‘22 when we were ‘shopping’ for a wedding venue; choosing it was a no brainer. The barn itself is unique and different than any others we have seen and it comes with everything. Dining area upstairs, separate from the cocktail hour, dancing, downstairs bar, lounge area, game room (this place has it all!). Long farm tables are gorgeous within themselves and need minimal decorations. And with the venue having SO MUCH on site, there was no need for us to order and prepare any other decor items like we would have needed at some of the ‘Blank Canvas’ barns we initially considered. The barn sits on acres and acres of land, giving you the option of where to have your ceremony, we chose right in front of the pond where our wedding party had a grand entrance from the large barn doors. MAGICAL! Enough about the venue, although we hope this paints an accurate picture! Everything you could need is there!! More importantly, Jay and Abby Wilson (owners of Maple Shade) are absolute rockstars. From our first visit and follow up phone call, we knew working together would be a breeze. They were helpful in our initial planning stages, helping us plan different details, offering extremely helpful advice. Wedding day they were like conductors of an orchestra, making sure everyone and everything were in place and running according to plan. It was PERFECT! And when uncontrollable things don’t go to plan, they had us covered! On our wedding day in late July, there was a high percentage of rain expected only during the time of our ceremony; Jay and Abby made the call that morning to put up a tent and made all the adjustments needed without causing bride and groom any extra stress… THANK GOD they did - it literally monsooned during the ceremony, like nothing we've seen before at an outdoor wedding! (Just a fluke storm rolling though). They reminded us that as a bride and groom getting married at their venue, they make the same decisions for us and our guests that they would make for their own children. They are kind and caring and so fun, and certainly know how to run a wedding venue. We respected, trusted and appreciated all their knowledge and hard work. It’s definitely not their first rodeo! As we will continue to call this day "the best day ever," we are very grateful to Jay and Abby for all of their help, attention to detail, and their ability to see and understand our vision for the most perfect wedding we could have imagined. Ps- they made a few recommendations for supplementary vendors (catering, DJ, bartenders) and all their recommendations were also HOME RUNS! It was such a smooth operation.”

“Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!”

“TLW was the absolute best venue for our wedding. They let us bring a bouncy house obstacle course onto the property, and even had a vendor recommendation. Throughout our literal hundreds of emails back-and-forth, they were professional, friendly, and prompt in their reply. Our guests had so much fun, and TLW did a fantastic job accommodating our guests' various dietary restrictions. TLW also did a great job communicating with our other vendors. It was a dream to work with TLW - the food was delicious, all of their staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself cannot be beat. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time enjoying the goats on site, the swimming pool, and the go-karts! The go-karts are an absolute must-have add-on to any wedding, it is all anyone could talk about afterwards. It was so much fun! I also caught my first fish during my wedding weekend, and had an absolute blast! Thank you so much Justin for being such a great communicator and venue partner!”

“Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. We're already dreaming of the countless memories we'll create here in the years to come!”

“My wife and I held our wedding weekend at The North Branch Inn this October and could not have had a better experience - we can't recommend The North Branch Inn enough! The grounds are stunning - with beautiful 7 acres to spread out in for different events including a tucked away creekside ceremony space, lovely gardens for the cocktail hour, and a huge space for a tented outdoor wedding, firepits, and more. The historic buildings are equally lovely. We loved having our family and close friends on site where we could all be together. The accommodations are excellent - the room we stayed in was huge and even came with an attached covered porch that we could use for our wedding storage (which was so great to have), and we loved soaking in the clawfoot tub the day after our wedding. The lounges in each building also are great - with lots of different spaces to congregate. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and was one of the top reasons we chose our venue. We knew Chef Jake would create a beautiful special menu for our wedding and for all of the other weekend events, and he did not disappoint. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the guests that stayed on site all also raved about the delicious breakfasts each morning. Most importantly, choosing to work with Caroline and Jake, who own the inn, we think was the best choice we made for our wedding. Caroline is so communicative, answered every email we sent quickly, and just went above and beyond on the details to make sure our event was seamless. All of the staff did a phenomenal job and you can really feel the love in this very special place. We'd give them 500 stars if Zola would let us.”

“My husband and I had our wedding here this June and the team at The Arnold House was so amazing to work with throughout the process. I truly do not think we would have had as great of a weekend if we had done it anywhere else. Everything felt very personally cared for, they approach everything with a 'yes' attitude (and offered comparable alternatives if option A was truly not possible), and in general they were so hospitable and communicative that we never felt nervous about their ability to execute the wedding weekend. By the time we were heading into our wedding weekend we felt nothing but excitement to experience and see everything we and the AH team had planned and to share it all with our friends and families. As a venue itself there are a myriad of options to choose from for hosting all the different parts of a full wedding weekend, and we never needed to repeat using a location over the course of the 7 different scheduled events (rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, farewell brunch). It was great being able to host the majority of our guests on-site as well, and minimized the amount of coordination we needed to plan in advance for off-site guests, like hotel blocks and transportation.”

“We are absolutely at a loss for words to describe how incredible our wedding at Plattekill Mountain was. From the moment we pulled up to the venue, we knew this place was something truly special. The breathtaking scenery alone sets the stage for a magical day, but what really makes Plattekill stand out is the incredible team behind it. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives. If you're browsing venues and Plattekill has caught your eye, stop looking. This is the strongest recommendation I will ever give. Not only will you have no regrets, but it will be the most beautiful, joyful, and unforgettable day of your life. We will be forever grateful for the memories we made at Plattekill Mountain and can’t wait to return to relive the magic for years to come.”

“Cheryl was so easy to work with. Her communication was great and timely all before my special day. I felt like I never had a worry because my questions were always answered before the day ended. During the rehearsal, she was able to answer all my questions and give some pointers, which was super helpful to make our day go smoothly. I suggest you take her advice. She showed her confidence in what she does best, which only made me feel less nervous about everything going on. She and her staff were so friendly at the rehearsal dinner, specially with the special requests I had for a few of my guests. Our wedding went on without a hiccup. Her staff decorated my tables exactly how I wanted. She met with my photographer to show the grounds for photo options. She was readily available in moments and was on point with the schedule of events on my day. The food was great and it seemed like things went seamlessly. She came to one more rescue for our friends and family. The following day, we did not anticipate so many of our friends and family wanted to leisurely join us for dinner. She was able to set us up in a space to accommodate us at the last minute. Cheryl was so easy to work with throughout the planning process. Her experience and organization is paramount. She made us feel comfortable and confident with our plans. Our family and friends had a blast at the party and the grounds that weekend. Many said they would return, including us.”
