As a photographer I love being present and in the moment in with couples. When I’m shooting I bring a calm, warm and supportive presence with me throughout the day. I strive to uncover the beauty beyond the big kiss, I love finding the perfect moments between people where love, joy and gratitude can be expressed by a gesture, a look, or a hug. As the main photographer I’m always thinking about the next perfect moment before it happens and I’m fully responsible for the editing. I grew up and reside in upstate NY. I always had a love for capturing life in the way I see it, and turning those moments into memories that can be looked back on for many generations. I love to travel and shoot a variety of life’s experiences, especially elopements and micro weddings.

My introduction to photography came when I was five years old, and my parents bought me a plastic Fischer-Price 110 camera. I dragged it everywhere. I moved on from taking pictures of the family dog to photojournalism for the school newspaper. In high school, I learned classical darkroom technique. I have earned a Bachelor's of the Arts from the George Washington University, a Master's of the Arts from the University of East Anglia in the UK, and I further studied photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. My current approach to wedding photography builds upon my background in fashion photography and photojournalism.
