Any time i look at our photos, i find myself involuntarily smiling. She captured the classic posed photos AND the precious in-between moments where people are being their most authentic selves (the face my dad makes when he's really intently listening, the hand gestures my mom uses when she's explaining something and can't find the right words, the face my mother in law makes when she's cracking herself up, the face my father in law makes right before the tears fall, and so so many more). Not ONLY are her photos amazing, but she made us feel so relaxed on the day-of. Her style is totally unobtrusive, which is just what we needed. He was super focused, detail orientated, bilingual, fun and laid back. He captured so many incredible behind the scene moments and my family kept saying we didn’t even see him take that picture. We were nervous about not knowing how to pose. He made us so comfortable and had amazing poses. He captured intimate moments of our families reactions during the ceremony, speeches and partying. He helped the day flow so well and we couldn’t believe how amazing the pictures were. The turn around time for the pictures was also super fast. “I cannot even begin to write a review that expresses how obsessed I am with the photos and service we received from Chayil McGlotten, she truly knocked it out of the park. Chayil’s positive energy and friendly personality brings exactly the tone you need for your day. I cannot recommend her and her team at Black Pepper Photography enough. We did our engagement photos at our venue, which ended up being on a fairly dreary day, but Chayil’s amazing skills still managed to highlight the beauty of the location and our excitement. She is incredibly easy to work with, quickly making us comfortable (especially my husband who is not a huge fan of taking pictures) by alternating smoothly between suggesting poses and taking candid photos if we were naturally in a good position. “Lindsay and Greg have been a pleasure to work with so far! My fiance had them there to photograph our proposal and I liked them so much that we booked them for our engagement and wedding sessions as well. “Jan was a phenomenal addition to our wedding day. We hired him off a recommendation of a friend of a friend and we are very grateful! He was calming and professional in helping us prep for the day and captured so many memories day of! Our entire family is grateful for all the moments he captured both on digital and film. His documentary style allowed for photos that reflected the fun and love of the day and evening with friends and family. He also turned around the photos very quickly and provided access to download the photos online. Highly recommend!”
