“One reason we chose City Winery was they are an all inclusive venue. They provide everything, set up and take down. All I had to do was drop things off and pick things up afterwards. They truly were such a big help. The other reason we chose City Winery was because it is the most stunning venue ever. The industrial/winery theme was exactly what my husband and I were looking for on our wedding day. We had our ceremony by the water, and our cocktail hour in the Courtyard. We got so many compliments on the beauty of the venue and how great all the food was. We could go on and on about all the great things City Winery has to offer. Definitely the best choice to choose them as your wedding venue.”

“Choosing The Garrison as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. The setting is stunning, but it is the team and the service that truly set this place apart. On our wedding day, the weather didn't exactly cooperate, and we had to pivot due to rain. The team at The Garrison didn't miss a beat. They seamlessly rearranged our plans and set up a beautiful indoor ceremony that felt just as intimate, romantic, and breathtaking as we had always dreamed. Their ability to handle the change of plans so effortlessly completely took the stress off of our shoulders. Our guests are still raving about the day, and we have received countless compliments on how incredible the food was. From the cocktail hour to the main course, everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. What really blew us away, though, was how attentive the staff was to us as a couple. They supported us throughout the entire course of the day, making sure we were actually fed, hydrated, and completely taken care of at every transition. We felt so deeply supported and cared for from the moment we arrived until the last dance. If you want a venue that offers top tier hospitality, delicious cuisine, and a team that will flawlessly handle whatever the day throws at you, look no further than The Garrison!”

“Thank you Blenheim Hill Farm for helping orchestrate an absolutely magical wedding weekend for us. Our wedding was truly a fairytale dream come true. The venue itself is breathtaking. The whole farmland was ours for the weekend. I enjoyed morning runs, evening strolls, outdoor yoga, and quality time with the farm animals. There are so many beautiful spots for photos and spaces to find calm. The ceremony takes place with a pond view in the background. The reception is inside a rustic, inviting barn with plenty of space to dance the night away, which we did! The food is incredible. Everything is plated elegantly, like a Michelin star rated restaurant. Our guests enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the desserts. They are also great at catering to any and all dietary restrictions. We had a fully vegan/vegetarian wedding, and it was delicious even for the meat lovers! The staff is exceptional. We felt so cared for and supported throughout our wedding weekend. There was always someone there to answer our questions, and everything fell into place so smoothly. We truly felt the care that went into every moment, both big and small. Financially, it is an investment, and the small add-ons do add up. But honestly, at the end of the weekend, it all felt so completely worth it. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm. It is a beautiful place full of wonderful humans (and goats!).”

“We got married at Bad Seed in June 2024. It was the first venue we toured and we knew it was perfect right away. Devin, Albert, Brandon, and the rest of the Bad Seed team are so down to earth and communicative. They gave us great advice about how to make our wedding day amazing. We wanted to DIY our decor and music, bring in our own food vendor, and have a casual garden party vibe. Bad Seed was super flexible, letting us choose whichever vendors we wanted and giving us tips for great service providers in the area. Because they only do one wedding per weekend, we had the entire day before the wedding to set up (which we needed!) as well as the entire morning/afternoon before the big event. There was always someone at the venue to help with whatever we needed, even going above and beyond to help us lay out the tables and set up decor. We wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans with a heat wave and thunderstorm moving through the area. On the bright side, Devin and the Bad Seed crew made sure we could do the whole event inside -- even going out to buy a big industrial fan to make sure the taproom stayed cool (we didn't end up needing it, the AC did its job!). Bad Seed is also SO reasonably priced compared to other wedding venues in the area. There was no nickel and diming or hidden fees - just an honest price and a great value. During the actual event, the bar staff went above and beyond to take care of us, checking in on us throughout the night and bringing us drinks so we didn't have to wait at the bar. It really made us feel like a million bucks. Oh, and our guests were raving about the cider :) If you're looking for an awesome, picturesque wedding venue in the Hudson Valley, Bad Seed should be your top choice.”

“There are no words that I could possibly say that could pinpoint how I feel about Kerri and the staff at FVM. When your daughter gets engaged to the love of her life, you immediately want the absolute most perfect wedding day for her and you want all her wedding dreams to come true. The first time I met Kerri I had an instant feeling of this is the place, and this is the person to make it all come true. My daughter had a vision of what she wanted her day to look like, and Kerri made it and more happen! The venue is unbelievably gorgeous. The staff is beyond compare and the food was top-notch delicious! I will forever be grateful to everyone at Fortune Valley Manor who helped make my daughter and son-in-law‘s day a memory that will last a lifetime. Kerri, you are absolutely incredible at what you do! If I could give 1 million stars to this review, I would! Five stars just does not seem to be enough! We could structure our day however we wanted knowing that we had no restrictions other than what time the reception had to end. ““How did you FIND this place?!” We heard this from our guests all night long. It felt like we’d discovered a secret garden, and everyone was desperate to know the story behind it. We got married at Black Walnut Farm in the fall of 2024. It was the first venue we visited, and we knew it was "the one" the moment we stepped out of the car—even before seeing the full extent of the work that has since gone into it. Owners Sarah and Jim have created something truly special; you can feel the heart and soul they’ve poured into the property while beautifully maintaining its historical integrity and charm. Getting to witness the venue’s progression in the months leading up to our wedding made us appreciate the sheer passion and hard work they pour into every detail. Sarah and Jim's support made all the difference. Because of the diligence they showed throughout our planning process, we felt entirely at ease when the big day finally arrived. We knew we were in excellent hands. If you’re on the fence about the full weekend package: do it. Beyond allowing us to feel completely at home, it gave us the space to host welcome drinks on the grounds as a “sneak peek” for our guests, while keeping the ceremony site and the barn under wraps for a big reveal the next day. The day after our wedding, we had the whole place to ourselves when our loved ones left and we wandered the enchanting grounds with our dog, basking in the warmth of all the love and joy we felt. Black Walnut Farm is a unique, deeply human venue. We couldn't have picked a better place to start our lives together.”

“We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! “We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty with exceptional service, we wholeheartedly recommend A Private Estate.”

“This was the perfect setting for our wedding! With a flowing brook, hay bales, a magnificent barn, beautiful trees, and a sprawling, lush field, it offered even more than we ever envisioned. The stunning location was easily accessible for vendors and guests, providing ample space to create our ideal ceremony and reception. Its proximity to charming hotels and Airbnbs also made it convenient for out-of-town guests! We wanted a joyful, natural celebration that reflected our unique vision, and your property provided the perfect canvas. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, readily answering all of our questions. Our guests were captivated by the beauty of the setting, and we're so, so grateful to have shared our special day in such a remarkable place.”

“We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.”

“We had a deliriously happy, memorable wedding weekend at Hotel Lilien. Our entire bridal party and family stayed here, and the hotel hosted a fantastic BBQ for our Friday night welcome event. It was a pleasure working with the owners, through many months of planning right up to the big day. I can't overstate how accommodating and detail-oriented their team is -- and on top of that, they are friendly and fun, and know how to throw a great party. The hotel itself is picturesque and well appointed. I loved that we each had our own cozy room, but in the mornings and evenings, everyone came downstairs to hang out in the lounge space, which feels like an inviting living room. Their team set the tone for a great day every single day. They were always ready to help with things like distributing welcome bags, offering local recommendations and of course pouring superior cocktails. Working with Hotel Lilien was a dream the whole way. Attached photos: Eileen Meny eileenmenyphotography.com”

And suddenly the only reason to have a cell phone is to take photos of every incredibly gorgeous vignette. You have no choice but to be present and to indulge the senses as you take each step through the maze of decorated display and historic architecture. Carolers, trays of wonderful treats and smells and smiles all made for the most perfect and unique experience. The event was so seamless organized and curated. Hats off to Clare and Katie and the team!!! A personal thank you to them for the endless hours that it took to bring this amazing community event to our valley for all of us to enjoy. The regular diner food is amazing, but the event catering was unbelievable - our guests are still talking about it. “We had our wedding at Revel 32 and couldn’t be happier. Cherilyn, Judy and Holly made the whole process completely seamless. We started the planning about a year ago after a very thorough virtual walk through. We absolutely fell in love with all the event spaces, even remotely. We met with the Chef about 6 months ago and were confident the food would be incredible, which it was! We utilized every available space that was offered and each space was perfect. The Lauren suite was perfect for my very large bridal party to get ready. We had the ceremony in the ballroom which was absolutely gorgeous and had our cocktail hour between the ballroom, the bar and the the main entry room and then we had our reception in Canon Hall and utilized the mezzanine and mezzanine bar as well. This room was the perfect space to PARTY. All staff were unbelievably helpful and kind and no detail was overlooked. Our wedding at Revel turned out absolutely stunning and we received dozens of compliments on the space itself and the service. We would get married here again and again if we could! We highly recommend Revel 32 as they have become like family to us!”
