“From the moment I spoke with Pam in regards to booking for my wedding, she has been nothing but spectacular. I had received a quote promptly and the booking process was painless and easy(planning for a wedding is tough!). I first met Pam for my Bridal Trial (which we set up for the morning of my Bridal Shower). I received non-stop compliments about how flawless my makeup was. About a month before wedding day, Pam followed up with the wedding day timeline which made it easy to communicate to my girls. Wedding day! Pam arrived on time, had set up so quickly and was ready to go! All my bridesmaids were so shocked on their makeup. I had a range of different skin colors and textures of my girls and Pam was able to work with the different skin tones! They were absolutely breathtaking. Its rare to find someone who can provide services working with a wide range of skin tones. Now, my makeup was absolutely fabulous! The smokey eyes, wispy lashes, contoured cheeks and blush was gorgeous. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror. I felt the most beautiful on my wedding day. Pam took her time and adjusted if I wanted something darker or different. I, of course, wanted alllll the glam. She gave me a beautiful glow on my shoulders and chest. My makeup lasted all day. “Our experience with The Riverview was incredible from start to finish. The process of booking included a detailed tour of the venue and a thorough review of the terms and conditions at a meeting to sign the contract, leaving us confident that we fully understood what we were agreeing to. Our tasting event was a wonderful chance to see the team in action and make some decisions about our own menu based on what we did and didn’t like. We worked with Kayla and Meghan as our coordinators, both of whom were a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive throughout the planning process. We were able to take advantage of their expertise based on experiences with past weddings but still had the flexibility to customize the details of the day so that it didn’t feel like a “cookie-cutter” event. And the physical space is truly beautiful! Our planning experience was wonderful, but the experience with the venue and team on the day of our wedding was exceptional. Meghan’s positive but firm leadership kept things moving smoothly and between her and our attendants, Cam and Felicia, every detail was attended to! They were prepared for everything, even wardrobe malfunctions, makeup mishaps, and last-minute requests. We did quite a bit of DIY planning and customizing, but on the day of, we did not need to lift a finger! We were especially impressed the the special attention paid to our priorities. My husband and I were excited about our menu and prioritized food during our planning meetings. At our wedding, the venue made sure we had plenty of opportunity to eat, but the excitement of the day took away our appetite. The Riverview team packed up all of the food we couldn’t eat and sent us home with our leftovers (plus some!) so that we still got to enjoy our meal! Another item worth noting is that although two weddings took place that night, we never would have known it! We could not hear the other wedding in our ballroom and never encountered the other group during the entire time we were on site! In short, planning our wedding at The Riverview was an amazing experience, and the wedding day itself was even better! I’d encourage anyone to book!”

“My wife and I had an absolutely traumatic photography search experience. Our original photographer never panned out, was shady, and never made it seem like they cared about the product. That's why when we decided to search for someone new and stumbled upon Chelsea, we knew the stars were aligning at the the correct time with this absolute blessing in disguise. From our first meeting, Chelsea listened to us, understood what we were coming from and where we wanted to go in terms of our photos. Her breathtaking bright and colorful photos were exactly what we were looking for in our April wedding. Despite meeting in person for the first time the day of our wedding, the lead up and communication day of made it feel like we were old friends seeing each other again. Both her and her husband/second shooter Ryan are top notch. They executed all the fun little quirks we wanted perfectly, including our groomsmen "NFL Entrance" photos, and private "First Touch". They stayed through most of the night and captured the entire reception, intros, dances, and party. We left for our honeymoon less than 2 days later, and by the time we landed, we already had 100 (!) photos as a sneak peek. The turnaround time was incredible. Chelsea prides herself on connecting with her clients, keeps her promises, and delivers exceptionally. We count our lucky stars we found Chelsea Lavallee Photography when we did.
