From my initial conversation with Johanna about my vision for my look, I could tell this was the right salon for me and my girls. Her careful attention to detail and genuine care for me as a potential client impressed me. Throughout the process, Yoli, the bridal coordinator, responded to all of my questions promptly and cheerfully. Marielly and Janelle made me feel so comfortable and confident at my trial and were open and responsive to feedback and follow-up questions I had about my own look as well as questions my girls wanted to ask. On my wedding day, my bridesmaids, mom, and I got ready at the pink salon. The space is bright, airy, and full of cute spots for photos. Marielly and Janelle gave each of my girls the same VIP treatment they gave me at my trial and they kept us on time to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. My group ranged widely in terms of needs (we had hair that was curly, straight, thick, and thin and girls who ranged from wearing little to no makeup regularly to girls who regularly go full glam and wanted bright and colorful looks), and each girl ended up with a look that was perfect for them! Our hair and makeup lasted all night long! While the final product was impressive, what stands out the most to me about working with The Stately Rose was how they made me feel. Every question or concern I had was treated as important (no matter how small) in the lead-up to the day. In the salon, Marielly and Janelle created a positive, fun, relaxed, and empowering environment. They were the ultimate hype-women all morning and they really set the tone for the day moving forward. It was especially meaningful to me how much care our team took in accommodating health and safety concerns among my party; requests we made to keep those with compromised immune systems or allergies comfortable and safe were made without hesitation. We all left the salon to start the rest of the busy and stressful day feeling like our best selves. I could not have asked for a better glam team and I’d recommend The Stately Rose to any bride-to-be without hesitation!”

She is a top notch professional, incredibly sweet, thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our day magical. Everyone kept telling me how wonderful Bianca and Dan were and how beautiful the bar trailer was. Not only was the trailer gorgeous at the venue, she went as far as to have custom napkins and drink stirrers made for us. It was such a small, sweet surprise and as the bride- there weren’t many surprises for me as I was involved in all the planning so that little touch meant so much. “We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

The passed hors d'oeuvres were never ending during cocktail hour-- our guests we're SO impressed and FULL of delicious tasting food they were wondering how they would be able to eat during dinner. Rick and his team brought my charcuterie table dreams come to life! “We used Ben to video our December 30 wedding. The choice to use a Videographer was last minute on our part, but Ben made himself available, was very easy to work with, and every meeting with him was stress-free. Ben made communicating prior to the wedding as easy as possible, always making himself available and making sure he met our needs. As far as the wedding day, he made sure my husband and I got what we wanted, and made sure all of our special moments were captured for us to look back on. “When we were in the process of looking for photo/video vendors for our wedding, we knew we wanted a combined service, but we were having a hard time finding the right fit. Tree Films has been nothing short of amazing. I was amazed that they were even available for our date. From the very beginning, Ashley was so personable, she listened to what we wanted, she was knowledgeable, and so professional. She was our main point of contact and her and I instantly became what felt like good friends (even though I only met her via zoom calls). I asked her for help with a few things throughout the process and she never batted an eye and helped me with it all! She was very responsive; I was never waiting for a response or wondering what was going on. She always kept me in the loop. Once our big day finally arrived, Ashley and her team were at the venue before I arrived. She greeted me and I felt like I already knew her. The entire Tree Films Creative team made me, my husband, and entire bridal party comfortable and I remember having a sense of ease. I could not recommend this team enough. They went above and beyond for everything on my wedding day and beyond. At this moment, I have received photo previews, which was way more than I thought, (happily) and I cannot wait for more! I have seen the teaser film and am just blown away. I am patiently waiting to see the rest of the photos and videos and I know for a fact that they are going to be incredible. “David was absolutely amazing — both professional and so personal at the same time! From the very beginning, he walked us through everything, from customizing our ceremony to making sure we knew exactly what to expect on the big day. He took the time to really get to know us, and it showed in every single part of our ceremony. What we loved most is that David somehow feels like both a pro and a friend. He’s organized and experienced, but also warm, kind, and genuinely cares. You never feel like just another client with him — you feel supported, understood, and completely taken care of. He was such a great communicator throughout the whole process — super responsive, always available if we had a question, and just so easy to work with. During the ceremony, he absolutely shined. He spoke clearly and with purpose, enunciating every word so that every guest could hear and feel the meaning behind what he was saying. His timing, tone, and presence were perfect — confident, engaging, and full of heart. We can’t say enough good things about David. Having him as our officiant made our wedding day even more special. We’ll be recommending him to everyone we know — near and far — just so we can see him in action again!”

“We booked Wild Wild Zest for a mocktail bar at my wedding in September of 2025 in Fairhaven, MA. They were AMAZING!! The drinks were incredible, people raved about them throughout the reception. I personally loved the customization process and the ability to make a bride's drink and the groom's drink that was showcased at the bar. Their syrups are mostly all homemade and SO delicious! Jasmine and her husband were extremely kind, helpful, and easy to work with!!! I would absolutely recommend them for your event.”

He took his time explaining how the day and night would be structured. After Hours provided a great and easy to use form that allowed us a lot of customization for the music we wanted to hear throughout the day. The photo booth team was also fantastic and did a wonderful job with guiding guests and putting together a beautiful scrapbook. Overall, going with After Hours was one of our best choices about the wedding - going with a team that knows what they are doing really took the pressure off of us so that we could just enjoy the day! We are a local Connecticut designer that also serves New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Floral design is our passion and we work to channel that passion into everything we create. We can cater to any type of event; whether it be a wedding, shower, anniversary party, corporate event or any other celebratory occasion!

“It was so wonderful working with Rachel for florals for our wedding in July of 2024. My now-husband and I are originally from New England, but live in California now, so a lot of the planning was done over email. Rachel was super responsive to everything. I told her that I wanted “sunflowers, but not in a boho way”, and she was fully game to take on the challenge- and she for sure delivered! She designed exactly what I had in my head and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined, and checked in with me every step of the way. I also appreciate that she has rentals for the “hardware” part of florals- because who just has a wedding arch and dozens of vases laying around? The flowers arrived on the day-of looking fresh and bright, and she even took a few of the extra flowers she had left over to scatter around on our guest book table. The clean up was quick and easy, and again she took care of all of the rental materials. We are so lucky that we found her!”
