“Max and Daniela are the absolute best!! Planning a wedding during a pandemic was not an easy task and required some creativity when choosing vendors (especially when we couldn’t meet any vendors in person). I spent hours searching through Instagram tags, reviews on The Knot and all over the place. PureMotion Cinema (formerly known as Motion Videography) caught my eye right from the start. Each video they had done was absolutely gorgeous, different from the last and you could feel the love between every couple we watched. We knew that we had to have them capture our wedding! Max and Daniela took the time to FaceTime/Zoom us on multiple occasions to talk about our vision, get to know us and really understand our story! They really care about their couples and capturing the importance of each unique love story. We’ve seen our teaser trailer so far and are blown away by it. We can’t wait to see the whole video! “Stephanie, aka DJ Stardust, DJed our wedding in June of 2023. Neither of us are huge music people, so we were looking for a DJ who could run with minimal direction, and Stephanie was exactly that! She was very organized and communicative leading up to the wedding day. She had a great form that we filled out with all the details you could possibly imagine in terms of songs we wanted/didn’t want/when, and she executed exactly as we expected. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in three different rooms/spaces, and Stephanie seamlessly moved through providing appropriate music (and emceeing) at each. The one special thing we asked her to do was coordinate a “photo dash” (where everyone sitting at each table comes up to the dance floor for a group photo within the time limit of one song), and she did it very well. She accidentally skipped a table at one point, but rather than making a big deal about it, she joked about it and everyone laughed. The photo dash was one of the most talked-about things after our wedding. Something unique that our venue offered was the chance for DJs to plug into a high-end speaker system they had installed for a small fee. We asked Stephanie to do this, and at first she was hesitant because she didn’t want to be using equipment she wasn’t familiar with day-of (understandably!). Of her own volition, she reached out to our venue and coordinated a time where she could go see the equipment and practice setting up to make sure it would work with her equipment and just generally feel it out. We really appreciated her going above and beyond in this way, and the day of the wedding went off with no issues at all.”

“Ariana Strings played the ceremony at our wedding on August 2, 2025 at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam, CT. After meeting Ariana the winter before our wedding at a bridal showcase, she immediately played the song on her violin I wanted to walk down the aisle to. She brought not only myself, but a few of my bridesmaids I was with to tears. She was incredibly attentive to detail, communicated to us almost immediately after emailing her, and has such an amazing personality. “Had the BEST experience with Tree Films Creative! From the initial inquiry to our wedding day, everything has been so easy and smooth with Ashley and James. They instantly made us feel so comfortable, in general, and in front of the camera. Communications over email and/or text were clear and timely, and it was apparent how organized and on top of their agenda they were. What I especially appreciated was the timeline and layout of the entire wedding day, from start to finish, all the photos Ashley planned to take; with who, where, etc. It was easy to follow and we could customize/add any specific group photos/photo poses we wanted to take. The sneak peek preview of some of the photos was such an unexpected and impressively quick turnaround - we got them while we were on our honeymoon! So that was another exciting bit of the honeymoon we weren't expecting but got to enjoy and appreciate together. “Our experience with The Riverview was incredible from start to finish. The process of booking included a detailed tour of the venue and a thorough review of the terms and conditions at a meeting to sign the contract, leaving us confident that we fully understood what we were agreeing to. Our tasting event was a wonderful chance to see the team in action and make some decisions about our own menu based on what we did and didn’t like. We worked with Kayla and Meghan as our coordinators, both of whom were a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive throughout the planning process. We were able to take advantage of their expertise based on experiences with past weddings but still had the flexibility to customize the details of the day so that it didn’t feel like a “cookie-cutter” event. And the physical space is truly beautiful! Our planning experience was wonderful, but the experience with the venue and team on the day of our wedding was exceptional. Meghan’s positive but firm leadership kept things moving smoothly and between her and our attendants, Cam and Felicia, every detail was attended to! They were prepared for everything, even wardrobe malfunctions, makeup mishaps, and last-minute requests. We did quite a bit of DIY planning and customizing, but on the day of, we did not need to lift a finger! We were especially impressed the the special attention paid to our priorities. My husband and I were excited about our menu and prioritized food during our planning meetings. At our wedding, the venue made sure we had plenty of opportunity to eat, but the excitement of the day took away our appetite. The Riverview team packed up all of the food we couldn’t eat and sent us home with our leftovers (plus some!) so that we still got to enjoy our meal! Another item worth noting is that although two weddings took place that night, we never would have known it! We could not hear the other wedding in our ballroom and never encountered the other group during the entire time we were on site! In short, planning our wedding at The Riverview was an amazing experience, and the wedding day itself was even better! I’d encourage anyone to book!”

He made the process super streamlined and fun, he also makes sure that everything is in order and double checks throughout the whole process with you to make sure you didn’t change your mind or have a roadblock. “We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Taylor events and how great Paul did from Start to finish. He made our wedding night absolutely unforgettable. He went above and beyond to help us choose songs that were meaningful and personable for our biggest moments, making both our ceremony and reception feel completely us. Every transition was seamless and emotional when it needed to be and so much fun when it was time to celebrate. the lighting throughout the evening was stunning, and elegant during dinner and then energetic and vibrant once the dancing began, the dance floor was never empty. He did an incredible job reading the room, keeping the energy high and getting guests of all ages out and moving! seeing my friends doing the worm and splits was hysterical They are a wild bunch, but he encouraged every minute of it so that we were having a blast. The Photo Booth and voicemail phone were huge hits and had everyone laughing, being silly and creating memories we will cherish forever.
