About this venue
The Riverview is a place like no other. We are a modern event venue on the beautiful waterfront setting of the Farmington River. The Riverview captures the beauty of Connecticut while bringing glamour and elegance to your reception. Since the building opened in 2008, our unique blend of personalized comprehensive service, architectural grandeur and intimate waterfront landscapes have set us apart and attracted guests from across Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. We strive to make dreams into reality for each and every one of our clients… and to make their event the first and most memorable part of their happily every after.

Beyond the architectural windows and dance floor this space includes, a covered outdoor ceremony space with gazebo and gardens, a patio full of cocktail style furniture and bistro lights, and riverfront access.

West Ballroom
This ballroom brings the outdoors in like a cozy hug.
Inside the ballroom the windows are filled with views of the trees and river; bringing the rustic outdoors into the elegant chandeliered reception space. The outdoor covered ceremony space has full river views all the way to the mountain range, with traditional English style garden and gazebo.

Great Value for a Beautiful Day!!!
From the moment we stepped into The Riverview for our tour, we were impressed by the clear, friendly, and warm communication from the staff. Chelsea, the coordinator, was incredibly attentive to our emails and really understood our vision for the day. The venue itself is beautiful, spacious, and updated, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The waitstaff went above and beyond, ensuring our guests felt attended to and keeping the dance floor lively all night long. They even packed up all the food we didn't eat, which was a huge help. The tasting was a great opportunity to sample the delicious food that would be served at our wedding. We're so grateful to the entire team at The Riverview for making our wedding day truly unforgettable.
The Perfect Venue!
My wife and I were married here in October and it was incredible! Going back to when we first toured the venue, we worked with Maureen and were so impressed by the venue, the packages, and the services offered. My wife and I had toured two other venues and choosing Riverview was the easiest decision we made in our wedding planning. Our coordinator for our wedding was Chelsea, and she was excellent! She communicated regularly and clearly, and provided great answers and advice when we had questions. Come wedding day, Chelsea’s team, including Chelsea, our assistant coordinator Felicia, and both bridal attendants Cam and Tara, worked together seamlessly to ensure our day was perfect. Chelsea ran two quick rehearsals for the ceremony and that’s all it took! She gave clear instructions and recommendations and when it was time for the real thing, it was perfect! The whole team made sure we stuck to our schedule, rounded up all the guests we needed for photos, made sure we had some time to ourselves to take in the gravity of the day, and also made sure we ate! The team maintained the perfect distance; close enough to rapidly get involved should they need to, but without making us feel crowded. Another service offered was the option to load our vehicle at the end of the night with our decorations and I cannot stress enough how great this was. We were able to stay out on the dance floor ALL the way until the end of the reception while the staff loaded the car for us to pick up the following morning. This way, we got to spend as much time with all our guests without worrying about coordinating a clean up crew, and figuring out who is going home with what. Our guests continue to tell us how much they loved the food and how beautiful and clean the venue was (we thoroughly agree). I wholeheartedly recommend the Riverview, Maureen, Chelsea, and her team to put together the wedding of your dreams. Thanks again to Riverview and the whole team for our perfect wedding!
Riverview can’t be beat!
The Riverview was an incredible choice for our wedding venue. From the very first call, the team was quick to respond, extremely informative, and incredibly friendly. Kayla and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our day special. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and we felt we received amazing value for the price. Throughout the night, the team made sure we never wanted for anything - they brought us drinks, ensured all our needs were met, and truly allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment. We are so grateful to Kayla and the entire Riverview team for making our wedding day perfect. We couldn't recommend them more highly.
Best Vendor that I worked with
The Riverview staff, especially Chelsea, our coordinator, were really truly incredible. We had some sort of issue with almost every other vendor we worked with, but speaking with them always made us feel like we were in great hands - and we were! The evening went off without a hitch, and their attention to detail leading up to our wedding and throughout that evening was unmatched. We're so thankful, you were all the best! Food and drinks were fabulous as was the space. Can't recommend them enough.
