About this venue
The Riverview is a place like no other. We are a modern event venue on the beautiful waterfront setting of the Farmington River. The Riverview captures the beauty of Connecticut while bringing glamour and elegance to your reception. Since the building opened in 2008, our unique blend of personalized comprehensive service, architectural grandeur and intimate waterfront landscapes have set us apart and attracted guests from across Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. We strive to make dreams into reality for each and every one of our clients… and to make their event the first and most memorable part of their happily every after.

Our light, bright and airy ballroom!
Beyond the architectural windows and dance floor this space includes, a covered outdoor ceremony space with gazebo and gardens, a patio full of cocktail style furniture and bistro lights, and riverfront access.

West Ballroom
This ballroom brings the outdoors in like a cozy hug.
Inside the ballroom the windows are filled with views of the trees and river; bringing the rustic outdoors into the elegant chandeliered reception space. The outdoor covered ceremony space has full river views all the way to the mountain range, with traditional English style garden and gazebo.

Perfect Wedding!!
We had our wedding in August at the Riverview and everything was amazing! The entire planning process, meetings with our coordinator, food tasting were so easy and stress free. Our coordinator Chelsea was FANTASTIC and she made everything run so smoothly. A perfect day and we would recommend the Riverview to anyone planning an event.

Five star experience
Where to even begin. My wife and I are beyond thrilled with the service and space provided at The Riverview. Kayla Rosenbeck was our coordinator and point of contact throughout our planning period. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the year leading up to our event. My wife and I had a two-day experience at the venue in celebration of a traditional Hindu ceremony. The coordination of an outside caterer, working with their in-house kitchen, designing and decorating the space differently to mark the two events was a complex task. Kayla and her team did it without blinking. In the days of our events, my wife and I were supported by Cam and Tanya, two wonderfully dedicated attendants. They made sure we were fed, hydrated, and well cared for. They put us at ease immediately. The entire staff at The Riverview, from Kayla and her team, to reception, to kitchen, to custodial, was top-notch. We could not have asked for a more thorough and complete experience.

Wonderful venue & staff
So happy we chose to have our wedding at The Riverview! Everything was perfect and the staff the day of the wedding was so kind and accommodating. The value is phenomenal, the food was great and the venue is beautiful on its own but with the ability to add your own touches. All of our guests had a great time and I would definitely recommend this to anyone searching for their wedding venue!

BEYOND happy with our choice!!
I got married at the Riverview about 2 weeks ago and cannot begin to express how perfect it all was! The views and large windows in the ballroom were gorgeous on top of the landscaping of the grounds. It was EXTREMELY affordable compared to other venues we looked into, especially because we were coming from California to get married. We brought a few decor items of our own and the Riverview did the rest. They were so so easy to work with and we were so well taken care of the day of by our attendants (Tanya and Synsere!). It was the perfect day from start to finish and just felt easy and simple and we have gotten RAVE reviews from everyone who attended and so many compliments on the food, the service, and how lovely it all was. Cannot recommend enough!!

The absolute best!
I can not thank this venue enough for how amazing they made our wedding day. From the first day, they were so professional and on top of every detail. We were a little nervous to plan a wedding in a shorter period of time, but the process was so easy and seamless. Our coordinator Meghan was the absolute best, so much so, I want to do more events just to work with her haha The rest of the staff was also fantastic, I could not have had a better experience. I highly recommend this venue !!
