Sacred Mountain Ranch is a romantic outdoor venue that is nestled amongst 80 acres of lush, unspoiled nature. We are located in the charming and bustling town of Julian, California, just outside of San Diego. Our unique property has 6 well-appointed residences and The Lodge for overnight accommodations for up to 68 guests. Sacred Mountain Ranch welcomes family reunions, elopements, photoshoots, weddings, and retreats.

We have two venues: *The Island -- Lake Cuyamaca has a scenic, natural site suitable for small outdoor weddings. Venue is rented for 6 daylight hours. Tables & chairs are not included.  *Ole Firehouse -- The Firehouse is a newly renovated former fire station with a 40' x 60' event room, the perfect space for both weddings and receptions. Amenities include: the venue room, a full kitchen, two restrooms, an outdoor patio area, a large, shaded deck, and an upstairs bridal dressing room/loft space. It has a 80-person indoor capacity with the Firehouse bay doors closed & a 100-person capacity when they are open. I’m Elisa Joy, behavior therapist by day, mobile bar owner by night (and weekends!). Alongside my husband Brian and our two little, we live in the mountain town of Julian, CA. When the world slowed down during COVID, my profession shifted and I had to pivot. We started dreaming. One trailer, a Pinterest scroll, and a whole lotta heart later, The Toasty Tap was born. ​ What started as a fun idea to turn a project trailer into something special quickly turned into a full-blown passion project. Late-night doodles turned into design plans, and with every bolt and brushstroke, our bar and photo booth came to life.

Oakwood Creek was built in the 1930s by WW Wood and his wife Leanora. Wood drove a truck that hauled dairy milk from the outlying ranches into the town of Julian. Later on, Wood would operate B&L Liquor on the main street. The remains of W's garage are still very apparent on the property today, along with his goat shed & stables. We have one of the last intact water towers in the historic district. The property has been preserved to reflect the period in which it was built. This beautiful venue sits atop a picturesque knoll overlooking the historic town of Julian. Sherry Horton, owner of Oakwood Creek Celebrations, offers signature style that everyone—no matter their affair—will find "oh so easy". I've been djing since I was 15 years old. I had a fascination for parties and events at an early age. I tagged along with my brother who dj'd at house parties back in the early 80's. I was hooked after seeing how much joy the music brought out in the crowd.
