We have been established since 2017. We love what we do and want to share that with everyone. We are a team of Fun, Passionate artist that bring the glamour game to life. There is no party to small or to big for us to handle.

Couples night is wonderful...but nothing beats a good girls night. What better way to start off your wedding chapter with a group of your boss babes doing hair, makeup, talking story and acting silly before you say "I DO"!

    I worked with Shade and Strand for my wedding makeup in November 2025 in Rancho Santa Fe, and I highly recommend their services. Cynthia made the experience so easy and comfortable. During the trial, she gave me an option between two colors of eyeshadow, but either one would have looked amazing. I asked for the natural glam look, and she encouraged me to get heavier makeup to show up in photos. She talked about her technique and how to make sure the makeup would last all day. She took lots of photos so she remembered what she did during the trial. On the wedding day, she was on time and super professional. All she needed was a low table, as she brought her own chair. I purchased my own lip liner and lipstick for the wedding day, which made it easy for Cynthia to apply them directly and show me how to touch everything up. I would highly recommend Shade and Strand and specifically Cynthia to anyone looking for a makeup artist for their wedding.

    Heather and Tiffany helped me feel extremely at ease during my initial bridal trial, and I could tell instantly that I was working with the highest-quality hair and makeup artists San Diego has to offer. Heather tried out 3 different hairstyles with me, and Tiffany knew just what to do with my makeup even though most of my answers to her questions were “I don’t know, I don’t really ever do my makeup so I don’t know what I want.” They traveled up to our wedding venue in Temecula on our wedding day to transform myself, my four bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law into princesses and queens. Heather did an amazing job with my hairstyle and accessories (and it stayed up through all of the jumping and dancing I did at the reception!), and once she showed me the finished result, I couldn’t believe it and said “Wow! I didn’t know I had so much hair!” Tiffany did a wonderful job with my makeup and telling stories and chatting with me to help calm my nerves before the first look. Once she was finished with me, I could not believe how absolutely beautiful I looked! Especially as someone who never wears makeup, I was incredibly pleased both with how my makeup looked in person and how it showed up in photos. It was a perfect combination of natural but glamorous! 10 stars for both Heather and Tiffany. You will LOVE working with them!

    Kelly and Tiffany did an amazing job. They are super sweet and wanted to make sure we all looked our best. With 6 people for each of them, we were done on time. Definitely recommend!

    Tiffany and Heather were great. Hair and makeup lasted all day! Through the wind on the cliffside and many many tears. Both ladies were great.
