We have been established since 2017. We love what we do and want to share that with everyone. We are a team of Fun, Passionate artist that bring the glamour game to life. There is no party to small or to big for us to handle.

Couples night is wonderful...but nothing beats a good girls night. What better way to start off your wedding chapter with a group of your boss babes doing hair, makeup, talking story and acting silly before you say "I DO"!

    Kelly and Victoria are amazing!!

    Kelly and Victoria were amazing! From the start at the makeup trial they really listened to what I wanted and adjusted accordingly. They even recommended skincare to prep me for the big day. They also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids, mom and grooms mom and got us all done on time and picture ready. They’re the best! Book them!

    Look no further

    Heather & her team are incredible. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and still felt like myself. My biggest fear was getting hair & makeup done and then not looking like *me* since I don't normally do a full face of makeup. Trust me when I say they elevate your look to make you feel special enough like it's your wedding day but it's still YOU! They did my hair so wonderfully, as well as my sister (who has waist length & thick hair) and my mom, and we all felt so pretty. It was honestly just such a fun experience (as it should be!) getting ready with these gals, we were laughing and just having a great time. I would not go anywhere else! They are so talented:) We're still waiting on our professional photos but added some of our personal ones.

    Brianna was amazing!

    Brianna did such an amazing job. Everyone loved their makeup. She made us all feel so beautiful and unique. She was kind and understanding of anyone wanting to change anything which is always appreciated! She truly took each person and what they wanted into consideration which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Can’t recommend her enough!

    Amazing hair and makeup

    Heather is absolutely fantastic! We did a trial run together beforehand, which was so helpful—it meant I knew exactly what to expect and felt completely at ease going into the wedding day. She came directly to me and was a total breath of fresh air. Heather is calm, sweet, and incredibly relatable; she felt like one of the girls and got along perfectly with all my friends. I also really valued her honesty—she’s a "sweet-hearted" person who will tell you the truth about what works best, which I appreciated so much. On top of her great personality, she is fast, efficient, and so receptive to feedback. She truly listens to make sure everything is perfect. If you want a talented artist who is also just a genuinely good person to have in your corner, I cannot recommend Heather enough!

    I first heard of Shade and Strand through Zola. I reached out through the Zola app early in my search and Heather let me know they were doing mini trials at a venue expo, The Thursday Club. I signed up for a short mini trial (15-30 min slot) and upon checking in to the S&S booth I was greeted with friendly faces and a very welcoming Heather! My experience at the mini trial was amazing, I got my eyes done and a quick half up hair style and that was enough to make me lock in S&S for my big day! 2-3 weeks later, I also had the opportunity to work with Heather and the S&S team at one of their internal team courses for bridal hair on curly hairstyles. Their team is so welcoming and felt like family. Again, I left confident in knowing that I made the right decision for my hair and make up team for my wedding. Come the big day, Heather was so attentive and kind to my mom, MIL , and myself. She looked at our dresses and gave input on hairstyles but ultimately listened to what we wished and felt most confident and comfortable with. For our makeup she did just the same, listened to our wishes and had us check in throughout the service and was willing to change anything we wanted or any adjustments. I cannot thank Heather enough for such an amazing morning of wedding experience! Heather and her team have my highest recommendations for any bride / bride squad looking for hair and makeup! Thank you Heather !
