From the beginning, Kaleb was very communicative, very open to any ideas we had, and really enjoyable and fun to work with. He let us give him a solidified list of songs along with our full wedding vibe (funky/disco). Kaleb understood the assignment. He played all of the songs we really wanted to hear while also finding some other songs that fit our vibes to a T....also made sure he didn't play songs we didn't want to hear. We asked him if he could give our wedding guests certain queue's and guide the wedding on the mic...the day before, we even asked him to say a few things word for word on the microphone. He did just that and absolutely killed it. Dancing DJ productions was a very communicative, organized, and professional company throughout...plus had a very competitive price. “If you're reading this review, congratulations, you can stop your wedding DJ search! DJ Pat is without a doubt the man you are going to want to keep the party going on your special day. We hired Pat for both our ceremony and our reception and he completely knocked it out of the park all day long. The app that he provides his clients makes it SO EASY to setup the songs you want to play and even lets you put together a schedule for the day, which we found to be incredibly useful during planning. On the day of the wedding, Pat showed up early to setup his equipment at two different sites and because he is a professional, he didn't need to worry us with questions about where things needed to go. Thanks to Pat, our day went as smoothly as we could have dreamed. He delighted guests at our ceremony with his extensive backlog of lovely instrumental music, even some really niche ones. He also provided a microphone for our officiant so no one had to shout as our ceremony was outdoors. Then during cocktail hour, dinner, and finally open dance, he kept the party going with suggestions we added to his app, requests from our guests, and his own surprises that he tailored to us as a couple. We seriously cannot recommend DJ Pat enough. Thanks to him, our wedding day was truly magical.”

We found Dakotah and loved everything we saw in his portfolio. We reached out and we were immediately struck by his professionalism. We knew we had found our guy. Ryan was really helpful on our initial phone call, and in making sure everything was all set for the big day. Kris and Alec were our videographers, and they were such a joy to work with. From the second they showed up, they were helpful, fun, and warm. They were great at directing us and helping us feel comfortable in the shots with just the two of us, and then they were awesome the rest of the day/night at blending in with our guests and capturing some amazing footage. They had a great sense of humor, and they clearly enjoy their work and sharing in the joy that they are helping to capture. We never felt nervous or self-conscious, and barely noticed we were being filmed. And the finished product is just incredible! The footage they captured and the way Ryan Films edited it truly captured the essence of the day. The music they chose to put our footage to matched our vibe perfectly, and they chose some of the most beautiful words from the ceremony and speeches to include. We originally ordered the cinematic highlight reel, and ended up adding on the full ceremony cut and reception cut as well. We were so stoked and surprised by the 1 minute teaser video they sent us a week after the wedding! And they were very timely in their delivery of our full finished product. Instead of making our glam session drag on for 8 hours, they simply added more artists to the schedule — and every single artist was just as talented as the next. Because of that, we finished in only about 4 hours, which made the whole morning feel relaxed and enjoyable instead of rushed or stressful. “Wedgewood Weddings provided catering services through Abbey Catering & Events for our December wedding in La Jolla, CA. We contacted the Abbey well ahead of time to receive a proposal for comparison with other catering groups. One of the reasons we leaned toward the Abbey is due to our initial conversations with Will Konecki. He was so enjoyable to speak with, and he helped hash out the initial details for our event. He provided us relevant documentation for menus, event rentals, and details on the included floral package. Will also made suggestions for cost-effective solutions to achieve the event atmosphere we wanted to provide for our guests. Will’s event experience allowed him to answer all of our questions, and he was very responsive via phone and email. We attended one of Abbey Catering’s tasting events where we met Will and other staff in person to taste the different appetizers and entrees. Some memorable favorites were the mini beef wellingtons, the feta-stuffed dates with bacon, and the sesame-soy glazed salmon. We were stuffed with all the food we tried, and we got to see some options for how the guest tables can be decorated. This is also where we met our assigned event manager. Our assigned event manager was Petr Trebin. As our event date got closer, Petr was very communicative of upcoming deadlines and requirements. Petr was extremely fun to work with. He shared excitement in all his communications with us and made sure we were taken care of well before the event. Petr was onsite throughout the duration of our event and went above and beyond in taking care of us. For example, he set aside a plate of all our appetizers and signature drinks inside the bridal suite room so we could eat our appetizers and drink our beverages in private without having to wait in line. Furthermore, he checked in on us throughout the event to make sure everything was going well and we didn’t have any questions or requests. Before the evening ended, Petr noticed that we barely got to touch our entrees due to being occupied with our guests so Petr packed two meals for us to take home as well as bites from our dessert bar. Petr was a pleasure to work with, and he made the experience wonderful from start to finish. Post-wedding, he shared with us all the photos and videos he took during the event which was a nice gesture. We highly recommend Abbey Catering for catering services for your wedding or any other event!”

“Lauren, our day-of coordinator, was a total ROCKSTAR. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease the entire day — organized, calm, and truly everything you could ever want in a coordinator. Because of her, everything ran perfectly, and we were able to just soak it all in. A huge shoutout to Chef Austin — the food was phenomenal! Every single guest was raving about how delicious everything was, from appetizers to dinner. Our banquet captain, Sierra, went above and beyond! She was so attentive, on top of every little detail, and even snapped some adorable behind-the-scenes photos and sent them to us afterward — so thoughtful and sweet! The rest of our staff — Aden, Patty, Lilly, Ava, and Jayln — were absolutely outstanding. They made sure everything flowed seamlessly and treated us and our guests with so much kindness and care. Our bartenders, Rachel and Julio, crushed it! The drinks were amazing, and everyone was having the best time thanks to them. And of course, the planning team — Angela, Mikayla, Katie, DJ, and Haley — thank you for making the planning process so easy and enjoyable. Every question was answered quickly, every detail handled with care. Lastly, a big thank-you to GM Austin for going the extra mile and helping coordinate special touches like golf for the guys — truly above and beyond. The Fallbrook team is unmatched.
