Brian and Alexa met in 2016 when he was pursuing his dream operating a café in North Park. This venture was called Grinds & Vine Coffee Bar, where the community was the most important factor of his establishment. One day Alexa came in as a guest to study and have some coffee. She was quickly mesmerized by the PB&J sandwich and their delicious cold brew options. They shared some great conversations about food and life then quickly became friends, which then blossomed into something more. Who would have ever thought a PB&J, a cold brew and a conversation would turn into love and marriage.

Off the Vine Dining was recommended to me by a friend and it was the best rec I have ever received. OVD catered our wedding and served us possibly the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life, along with every other food item that night. Even the dessert was delicious, every ingredient was real and homemade, even the whip cream. Every piece of food served to us was made by hand and it tasted as such. I never expect to eat a lot when I attend a catered event, let alone an event I throw because I have a sensitive stomach. But I was able to eat everything and go back for seconds. If you’re looking for kind, honest and talented people to cater any event you’re having, don’t look anywhere else but Off the Vine Dining! Take a chance in this husband and wife team and give them a call and let the rest be history!

We had our wedding here on June 6th and it was absolutely everything we hoped for and more :) What made Mt. Woodson perfect for us: - highly professional and friendly staff from our first tour to the day and communication afterwards, special shout-out to our day-of coordinator Jessica and Derek & Kelsey who worked with us while planning - Stunning outdoor and indoor venue, so you can have the ceremony & dinner outside and then switch inside for the party and dessert. Bonus: in the worst case of bad weather you still have a fantastic place for your wedding instead of a back-up tent solution. And you can go until 11pm while other venues limit the party to 10pm. - Amy's Closet is filled with items to use free of charge and they allow DIY flowers/decor which was important to me since I am artistic and wanted to give my wedding a personal touch. Only thing you have to do is assign a person resposible for set-up & take down but our day-of coordinator was so sweet to lend a hand too. - Food was fantastic! We opted for 2 carving stations & buffet style dinner but they also offered plated menus for our guests with dietary restrictions. Our guests were complimenting the food and many went back for seconds and vegan & vegetarian guests were happy with their plates too. Plus: you get to take home the delicous left-overs- they even packed a beautiful to-go plate separately for the bride & groom. - Plenty of parking with option to leave the car over night. Just beware that Ramona is a bit remote so it is not quite as easy to catch a ride, so preordering transportation makes sense. There is some stairs and uneven paths but myself as a bride and all other guests in heels were getting around just fine and also our older guests had no complaints. They were also very accomodating of my brother who is in a wheel chair and they had bathrooms that were accessible for him. Thank you again to the whole Mt.Woodson staff for the BEST experience ever!

Originally when I saw the picture of the beautiful Villa like structure I thought it couldn’t be in California and when I saw that it was and was only an hour or so from us I knew I wanted our wedding there. It gets even better, this amazing place is a winery! Double score! We schedule a walk through and wine tasting and booked the venue maybe 30 minutes after we were done. Melissa was our event coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. She was so responsive and helpful that it was such a breeze when it came time to the big day! If you want to get married at a beautiful winery with delicious wine, Milagro is your venue! I can’t wait to go back and visit the tasting room soon!

They’re so easy to talk to absolutely nailed the looks we were going for. He uses an app that was easy to use and helped us curate our music preferences during our ceremony and into the reception. DJ Cameron and his team gave us the celebration of our dreams. Our family and friends wouldn’t leave dance floor and that’s the exact outcome we asked for and were hoping for when we sought out Cam's services. He asked us for a list of our favorite songs and filled in the gaps when we needed some inspiration. He's a HIGHLY skilled professional and we were through the roof happy that he pulled together all of our preferences of Motown, country, Latin, and hip hop into a nonstop party where each song the dance floor was packed! The sound quality was excellent and he navigated an outdoor courtyard setting and an indoor banquet hall and the sound was full, balanced and clear in each of the venue spaces. The PhotoBooth and uplights were a fantastic touch, the props were also super fun and we captured moments we’ll cherish forever.

We hired Rick for DJ services and Photobooth for our September 2024 Wedding. They absolutely KILLED IT!!! Kristine Smith Designs was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the start, Kristine's communication style was straightforward about what to expect, quick in response time, and genuinely comforting. She checked in on us emotionally and made sure to keep us in check when it came to getting our weekly homework done. We are both very busy attorneys, so it was comforting to know that Kristine would gently nudge us and remind us of the immediate tasks that needed to get done. Her team's dedication, attention to detail, and invaluable expertise made them an indispensable part of our special day. We went into our wedding day expecting something to go wrong, as that is what everyone told us to expect when planning a wedding, but Kristine made our day flawless. Not a single detail was overlooked, and Kristine captured our vision perfectly, right down to the lovely woven baskets that held the flowers down the aisle. Kristine also helped us start preparing for the wedding 16 months in advance, so that by the time we were 2-3 weeks away, there was barely anything left to do. When we first connected with Clemence, we were feeling overwhelmed and anxious. With our wedding less than six months away and having recently parted ways with our original planner, we were in urgent need of someone who could bring our dream wedding to life. Clemence stepped in with infectious enthusiasm, and from the outset, it was clear she genuinely cared about realizing the vision we held for our special day. An early experience that solidified our confidence in Clemence, and one we will always cherish, was our engagement photoshoot. Just a week after our initial meeting, Clemence learned of our upcoming anniversary trip to the Loire Valley, where we planned to stay at a Chateau and have our engagement photos taken. The photographer we had initially found was unresponsive, creating a stressful situation. Clemence immediately took charge, connecting us with an amazing Parisian photographer she had collaborated with previously, Lea Everin. Within a couple of days, she had arranged a two-hour photoshoot for us at the Chateau. This swift action and dedication left us speechless and demonstrated a level of commitment that truly made the entire experience unforgettable. Clemence excelled in understanding and aligning with our expectations, particularly regarding organization. She effectively utilized a shared spreadsheet to keep us synchronized on tasks and, crucially, the budget. Her proficiency with Canva was also a great asset, allowing her to create clear visual representations for elements like table settings and decor, which was immensely helpful. During our meetings, Clemence had a remarkable ability to make us feel as though our wedding was her sole focus. She also introduced us to an outstanding team of vendors, including the talented photographer Renata Amazonas and Katlyn Jernigan from Toast Catering, all of whom contributed significantly to our day. What truly set Clemence apart was her receptiveness to feedback and her proactive approach. We had several productive meetings at the venue, which fostered a sense of calm and shared understanding, ensuring our wedding would be everything we envisioned. She also skillfully managed the planning process itself, making it feel like a unique and enjoyable experience in its own right. We'll never forget how she coordinated with cake vendors; after we expressed our desire for a fun and memorable tasting, she arranged a delightful experience at the venue with Connor’s Cakes, complete with delicious samples and champagne. Given the exceptional service leading up to the wedding, it's hard to imagine Clemence could have surpassed our expectations on the actual day – yet she did. Our wedding day proceeded flawlessly. Despite concerns about potential rain leading into the weekend, Clemence had worked diligently with us to prepare for all scenarios. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful, and we had the most perfect wedding we could have ever asked for. Throughout the entire day, we were completely free of worry, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in and savor every precious moment. Thank you, Clemence, for truly making our entire wedding journey and the day itself absolutely perfect. We will cherish these memories forever.
