The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. “We would confidently recommend Press Play to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding DJ experience! Neither my husband nor I are experts on music (I for example never remember the names of songs I like), so we were looking for a DJ who would be able to capture the essence of the music we enjoyed. We found Press Play approximately 5 months before our wedding. Keith provided an online form with common wedding songs and essential questions about our wedding day. We chose about 1.5 hours of music from this list, and also shared four Spotify playlists with him – our must-play, must-not play, like list, and prefer-not-to-play lists, which we had compiled over the course of a few months. Keith seamlessly filled in the rest. 3 weeks before the wedding, Keith reached out to confirm the day-of-proceedings and pronunciation of names, demonstrating his attention to detail. During our wedding, Keith's kept the atmosphere lively and engaged, with creative ideas such as asking if some of our teenage guests wanted to try out the DJ booth. We received numerous compliments on our DJ and the dance floor remained packed throughout the night!”

“Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. He provided a questionnaire that made the whole planning process so easy, and his execution was simply fantastic. Joey G truly made our wedding day unforgettable!”

“Brendan is the absolute best!!! His communication was quick and efficient when we first started the process of looking for a DJ. We looked no further once Brendan gave us his details. Our guests told us that they absolutely “loved our DJ” and we couldn’t agree more!! My main wish was to have everyone on the dance floor all night and thanks to Brendan’s playlist, our guests were dancing all night long. My dad worked with Brendan to come up with a mashup of songs that meant a lot to us from my childhood for the father/bride dance. The mashup had smooth transitions and it was very specially made. Brendan was conscious of our song requests and made our vision come to life from walkout songs to parent dances, group dances, cake cutting song, to final song of the night. The phone app that Brendan uses to organize your night is easy to use and allows you to personalize your night to absolute perfection as you prepare for the day. We selected the photo-booth package as well and the pictures came out phenomenal. The photos were of the highest quality and it is something we’ll have forever to cherish the night and our guests.
