The roadmap they use is a great resource that helps keep you organized through the wedding planning process. We loved having a full weekend at the farm. The service, hospitality, food and drinks were amazing. We dealt with a rainy wedding day and the staff worked with us to ensure a perfect ceremony and reception. We could not have asked for more!

My husband and I were married at TurnPark in what I would consider a dream setting. The towering artwork, the gorgeous water filled quarry, and the amphitheater made out of local marble made a gorgeous backdrop for our big day. The folks at TurnPark made it super easy and beautiful, helping out with the sound system, seating, and many other details that made it so perfect. We would highly recommend TurnPark as a wedding venue (and a fabulous place to visit in general).

From our first interaction with Christa, the venue manager, it was clear that this working horse farm is a special place that puts immense care into everything they do. After visiting and seeing the charming barn, beautifully maintained farm grounds, and its incredible views, we were enchanted. I could write pages about all the amazing things that this venue boasts, but I will highlight the points that future brides should understand when they go to book The Ruins. Being a DIY bride, the Ruins at Sassafrass provided the enchanting backdrop to bring my Pinterest board dreams to life. The rustic charm and natural beauty of the venue complemented my vision perfectly, creating a magical setting for our special day. The flexibility of the space allowed me to add personal touches, turning it into a unique and unforgettable experience. Even in late October the landscape of the mountains in the distance were breathtaking; our guests are still talking about how mesmerizing the views were. What makes our wedding story even more special is that we chose The Ruins before it was even finished. It was a leap of faith based on the vision and promises from Carol, the owner. When we did our initial tour, the venue was still in its beginning stages of completion; even then we were captivated by the potential and the unique charm it promised. What sealed the deal for us, however, was Carol's infectious enthusiasm, passion, and stylistic eye. Her vision and commitment assured us that the venue would be the perfect location for our special day, and it absolutely was! Being part of the journey from the early stages allowed us to witness the Ruins’ transformation, and it added an extra layer of excitement to our wedding planning. Despite the venue's newness and the inevitable growing pains, Carol, Lara (the on site coordinator), Jerome (Carol’s partner in life and business), and the rest of the team made sure our decision to trust them from the beginning was more than worthwhile. Being a newer venue, Carol and the team were still in the process of ironing out a few kinks. Despite some last minute hiccups, what truly stood out was Carol, Jerome, and Lara’s commitment to addressing these challenges in real-time. Their proactive approach and dedication to ensuring our day was perfect more than made up for any set backs in the planning process. This was a HUGE relief when planning such a momentous event. On our actual wedding day, when challenges arose with our day-of coordinator (that we hired separately and was not affiliated with The Ruins), Lara stepped in as our saving grace. Her quick thinking, attention to detail, and unwavering professionalism turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and unforgettable celebration. Her ability to coordinate with our vendors and recalibrate the timeline on the spot showcased her experience and dedication. Without Lara's intervention, the day could have taken a different turn, and we are immensely grateful for her expertise and her willingness to step up and save the day. Her creative touch also helped transform the venue into a dreamlike setting, exceeding our expectations. We had such an amazing weekend at Camp Lenox - cannot thank the Rich, Leslie, and the rest of the staff enough. They made the weekend about as stress-free as we could have hoped - even despite the tornado warning on Saturday! Our guests had an amazing time from start to finish, and would not have been possible without lots of help. From putting together table arrangements, setting up campfires on 3 consecutive nights, making sure everyone got to their cabins and were settled in, having food prepared for 100 guests from Friday-Sunday, guiding hikes, coordinating all the vendors, supervising beer olympics, etc etc etc -- THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Right after we toured at the Barn at LF, I knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. It was absolutely MAGICAL! so warm and welcoming, it instantly felt like home. On top of that, Beth was an absolute sweetheart and really sealed the deal for us. From start to finish, every single person at the Barn went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Both Dani and Beth had the best communication, always quick to respond to my (many!!) questions and so supportive through the entire planning process. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, honestly, it looks like what I would imagine heaven to be. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more beautiful setting or kinder team to share our day with! The Basilica is a one-of-a-kind space. If you are trying to avoid having a cookie-cutter wedding, this is the place for you. The staff has seen this venue set up in MANY different ways and can make anything you imagine come to life. I was really worried about being able to turn a blank space into my dream night but they made it happen easily. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing it all set up for the first time. The best part is that there are zero time restrictions on the space. Which for us, meant an after-party until 3am :)

My husband and I just got married at the Caboose and cannot say enough good things about the venue and its team. There's something magical about it. The space is gorgeous, warm, and inviting. The lighting, the garden, the intimate, communal feel, the food presentation. The food is by far the best you'll have. All of our guests agreed and were truly raving about it. It is by no means typical "wedding food" and is one of the many elements that makes this venue special. Not only was the food better than most restaurants, but the menu is so unique and highly customizable. Their focus on seasonal ingredients is truly special. If you're looking to have an elevated but understated dinner and dance party, this is the venue for you. The staff was so kind and executed our vision better than we could have imagined. You'd never know the venue/team is new. The Caboose is perfect and we could not recommend it or the entire team enough. Even the getting ready space above Kitty's restaurant was perfect. What a special place! We were blown away and can't wait to see what else this team does. They really know what they're doing here.

We first heard about the Wire Event Center through a photographer on Facebook while the venue/hotel was still under construction. We fell in love at first site and are glad we went with it! The views are amazing, and with James Newbury attached, the location is highly convenient. The venue itself easily checked all our boxes while looking for the perfect location for a wedding. Isolated, but not far from an airport, scenic for spectacular wedding photos, accessible for those requiring wheelchairs, and walkable distances to other restaurants for rehearsal dinners, welcome drinks, and after parties. Inside the venue itself easily accommodated 100 guests, dance floor, DJ setup, photo booth, and more. We did cocktail hour in the Atrium which offers an awe inspiring view on a beautiful day with areas both inside and outside. The real star behind the venue was the assistance from Holly Harman. Leading up to the event, Holly was able to help organize, set up, and answer a multitude of questions both regarding venue or reaching out to vendors. Holly was an amazing contact before, during, and after the wedding to the point that we begged her (after work hours) to join us at our after party. Throughout the wedding day, she was able to help coordinate transitions between events, assist with last second adjustments, and even take care of our rambunctious pupper, Asher. It was originally supposed to rain on our wedding day, however she took care of that, too :) The communication was exceptional, and we could not have asked for someone better to work with. I will admit, we had a rowdy bunch at times requiring some firm language to move from reception after party after-after party (shout out to Ravish Liquors), but for our family, that's what is needed. If we could go back, we would choose this location again and again, 100%! Thank you tremendously to Holly and the rest of the Wire Event Center staff for the best day of our lives!

Birch Hill is phenomenal!! From the very beginning of the process, Serena was by our side, always answering any questions we had, making sure everything was clear, and making sure we had everything OUR way. The day of, she exceeded my expectations; she was AMAZING - literally running around to make sure our day went smoothly (which it did). Literally nothing went wrong other than running 15-20 minutes behind schedule which wasn’t their fault! Food was amazing, and everyone thought so, we heard the bartender was awesome as well as the drinks he made, and the venue itself is just beautiful. We had our ceremony at the pond pergola and our reception in the Colombia Ballroom - both absolutely stunning and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day, thanks to Birch Hill & Serena and even Kelsey who helped Serena the day of! We can’t thank Birch Hill enough for everything they did for us and our big day and we are so glad we trusted them; would recommend them 1000 times over!

Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The eggs are laid today, the butter is homemade, and the food is for feasting.

The now "annual" Stissing House Craft Feast has made holiday shopping fun, festive, inspiring and very low stress. From the minute you step into their signature green door, you feel transformed to another time. And suddenly the only reason to have a cell phone is to take photos of every incredibly gorgeous vignette. You have no choice but to be present and to indulge the senses as you take each step through the maze of decorated display and historic architecture. Carolers, trays of wonderful treats and smells and smiles all made for the most perfect and unique experience. The event was so seamless organized and curated. Hats off to Clare and Katie and the team!!! A personal thank you to them for the endless hours that it took to bring this amazing community event to our valley for all of us to enjoy. You made my Christmas season (yet again!).

I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.

We had an absolutely perfect day at Cricket Creek. We hosted our ceremony up in the pasture and our cocktail hour down and around the barn. The possibilities were endless and we were able to shape the space and use it exactly how we wanted. Working with Jessi made that easy because she was always there to give us advice and make sure all our bases were covered and we weren’t missing anything important. We decided to go to an indoor location for our reception because we knew it would get cold at night in late October, but if we were there at a warmer time, the Barn would also be an amazing spot for a reception. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

We cancelled our big wedding due to covid and we were planning to just show up at a local lake and have our wedding ceremony... that is until we saw Rokeby! Marina was very responsive and walked us around the property, which is absolutely exquisite. The grounds have several perfect ceremony locations (in front of the garden, mountain view, on the porch, in front of a very old beautiful tree) and Marina had the ceremony space set up exactly how we had asked. The experience was seamless and our guests continue to talk about how wonderful the estate is. Highly, highly recommend!

It was apparent that she wanted the bride to be happy!!! She was an absolute blessing to us and her team as well! Being able to celebrate with our family and friends at a place that added such beauty and magic was what I wanted! I always say to Ms. Gioja that her place makes you feel at peace, being away from the business of this world and to be surrounded by sounds of nature. What a feeling?! My husband and I got married at the Northampton Country Club in the fall of 2023. We had 110 people and everyone loved the crisp clean atmosphere of the venue. People had plenty of space to move about and we had a good size dance floor as well! My mother in-law was the one who made the suggestion to get married here as she had attended a wedding the previous year and loved it. We chose to have our ceremony outside on the hill in front of the gazebo and the setting was perfect. The trees had almost fully turned and the backdrop looked amazing in our photos. I loved that I could choose from a list of vendors and not be pressured into a preferred caterer. There was a shuttle from our hotel, which made this location very accessible for out of town guests. I highly recommend this location, you get so much value for what they offer. The bar staff was very accommodating and made the night fun for our guests!
