His attention to detail and everything regarding the music, sound and lighting was top tier!! He was very professional and well organized. He showed up on time and had plenty of time to get all of his equipment in place for the ceremony and reception. At one point during the planning process, he went above and beyond to meet with the Fire Marshall regarding the cold sparks because the Fire Marshall had questions about the venue. Mo became familiar with the couple and learned about them and their style of music that they loved and what their guest would enjoy. Once the party started, he kept the dance floor packed and read the room well. The Photo Booth was very modern, sleek and well ran by the attendant. It was aesthetically pleasing to the eye as to not take away from the other decor in the room. If you are trying to decide between Mo/Wanjama productions and another DJ, choose Mo!! “I was so thrilled to have found DJ Kash to help make our Sangeet a memorable experience for everyone! I found him through instagram, as one of the premier South Asian DJ's in the triangle area, and after listening to his sets, I knew he would be the perfect fit for our event. We reached out, and within a few weeks, we had a signed contract, he had added at my request, a Dholi and I felt that he would deliver even though we'd booked him over a year in advance. Kashif is professional, fun, and can read a crowd and vibe incredibly well. He blended western music with Bollywood hits and for our Sangeet he played a live, mixed set which was DOPE. Everyone loved the music and would not get off the dance floor. Additionally, he was incredibly flexible- I had literally no direction for him (mostly because I trusted him) and he was able to accommodate last minute requests without complaints. And thank you Kashif, for encouraging me to keep the Dholi, because between the two of you, the event was more memorable than I could have imagined. We ended up booking him to provide music for our entire wedding day, from pre-ceremony music (played while guests were arriving and taking their seats) through the ceremony (including microphones for the officiant and groom) through cocktail hour, dinner, special dances and toasts, and the dance party portion of the reception. Joey’s attention to detail, including making sure he knew which specific versions of the songs we requested we wanted to play, and which music lined up with specific points in the schedule of events, was unmatched. Joey’s client portal made it easy to share our music choices for all these different parts of our big day. He paid close attention to our playlists/requests for the dance party while also mixing in some of his own selections, reading the room and ensuring everyone had something to dance to; this was especially impressive given that our guests ranged in age from infants to octogenarians! He was also sensitive to the nuances of a big family gathering: My dad and I don’t have a close relationship, so my mom and I did a mother-daughter dance in place of the traditional father-daughter one. When my dad put in a song request later in the evening, telling Joey he intended to ask me to dance with him to that song, Joey pulled me aside to make sure it was okay first before honoring the request. My new husband and I loved working with Joey’s DJ Service for our wedding, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this seasoned professional to anyone planning a special event.”

“It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. “BEST DJ EVER!! Our entire experience with Mixology was amazing! They were super communicative so we didn’t have to repeatedly reach out to get a response from them which I really appreciated. Planning: They give you an app to use in which you can answer questions about your timeline and even import songs directly from Spotify or find on YouTube. It was super user friendly! Our assigned DJ, Angel reached out to use for a quick planning call a couple weeks before our wedding. He was prepared, super friendly and excited about our wedding. We ended the call being super thrilled to have an energetic DJ and felt very confident. Wedding Day: DJ ANGEL KILLED IT!! I’m Hispanic but my husband is white so I wanted all announcements in Spanish and English plus lots of Spanish music. He blended everything so well and picked the funnest songs! Our guests were raving about him and my sister who is getting married also booked him as a result. We had added a custom monogram light display plus the dance on a cloud feature and WOW! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! Worth every penny! I did tons of research beforehand and even listened to mixtapes before booking a DJ. Nothing is worse than hearing a DJ with an awful transition or lame songs but this was not the case. I had zero issues with Mixology and will always HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!”
