I was originally paired with a coordinator who was not as proactive/did not project confidence and ability to guide. Mostest was super accommodating with getting me reassigned, replacing my original planner with Lanise within a day of me contacting them. Everything was smooth sailing from there on out! If you’re in Houston I highly recommend Lanise as a month-of coordinator! She consistently went above and beyond leading up to and on the day of my wedding. She is professional, organized, confident, and creative. I am a very Type A person, so it was important to me to have someone I could really trust with the details. Lanise sent detailed recaps with action items after each of our weekly meetings, was available over text when I had questions, smoothly handled vendor communications and even some family coordination for speeches, conducted venue visits, and did an AMAZING job decorating and keeping things moving on the day of. I came in with a pretty detailed vision and provided mockups of my table settings and special decor, but Lanise truly understood the assignment and executed it with such care and precision. “Brooke once told me during one of our many consultations, that the name of her business was “practically perfect” because nothing is ever 100% perfect, but her goal is to get it as close as possible. I didn’t realize how right she would be. First off the vendors she chose- the catering, the dj, the hair and makeup artist, the bartender, the florist… every single one of these vendors came through in a big way for me! They all knocked it out of the park, and that’s mostly because of Brooke! She knew what she was doing when she chose them, and she handled pretty much all of the communication. I just had to give approval and tell them exactly what I wanted, and Brooke made sure that happened. You just have to trust that you chose her for a reason and that she is going to make the right decisions. Every single thing about my day exceeded my expectations.
