Kristen started her career over 25 years ago planning corporate and social events for Marriott International. In 2017 she launched PK Weddings and Events, and began planning beautiful New Orleans weddings. She has a planning style that is calming but passionate, ensuring her couples have everything they wish for on their wedding day. Kristen is blessed to have surrounded herself with wedding professionals who share the same passion of creating the perfect day for our clients. Being a New Orleans native allows her to work with some of the best local vendors in the city, ensuring your wedding or event is flawless.

We provide not only complete wedding planning services, but also all-inclusive wedding packages making it easy for couples to assemble the perfect team for their dream wedding.     Claire and Kristen

    Claire and Kristen are a great team. Claire is positive and flexible. She cheered us on and encouraged us to advocate for what we wanted. Kristen is the perfect person to have on a wedding day. She is so calm and organized. I felt at ease because I knew she had everything under control. I appreciate how she went out of her way to make things happen like our outdoor ceremony with the specific music that was so important to us.

We have planned over 150 weddings and love it! From intimate ceremonies to large weddings, our couples have included us in a variety of ways. From using our all-inclusive wedding packages, to planning their special day from start to finish or just to help on the day of, we have extensive experience in planning the perfect wedding day at some of the most unique venues in the city and along the gulf coast.
We have a full time wedding planner and wedding coordinator. Our team also consist of specialists in the floral, photography, entertainment and wedding cakes. We also partner with other preferred vendors in the hotel community, venues, transportation and more. While we partner with many wonderful vendors in the community, we always welcome working with your favorites too! Our resources are plentiful ensuring what you want for your wedding day can be accomplished. Your vision and style is our mission to ensure a reality!
We do offer planning services not only in the the greater New Orleans area, but also on the Northshore of New Orleans and along the gulf coast.
We want to be there for you when needed. We do not put limits on the amount of time we communicate with you. We do like to have in person or video calls through out the process and welcome unlimited email and phone communication. Communication is so important for positive outcomes in any situation.
