When I first reached out to Laura she responded so quickly, and during our very first meeting (before I had even officially hired her!) she was already giving me helpful tips and ideas. She is SO organized — spreadsheets, timelines, even a list of things to remember to pack for the wedding day. She answered all my questions, calmed my stress more than once, and worked so hard to track down THREE disco balls for our dance floor. She immediately understood the vibe I was going for and supported me through the whole planning process. I can't even gush more about how wonderful our wedding day was. On the wedding day, Laura was literally everywhere. My whole family kept commenting on how amazing she was, running around making sure everything was happening on time and going smoothly. I didn't stress for a single minute, because I knew everything was in good hands. Her assistant Morgan was the GOAT. She stayed by my side basically the entire night. At one point a family member had me a little rattled and she calmly escorted them away and then came right back to check on me. She even helped me pee in my dress — which honestly tells you everything about the level of support she gave me that night! “For our wedding, we utilized very few additional services as my career requires me to plan and host events/dinners for 900 guests. So I went into the wedding preparation pretty confident with my capabilities to pull it off on my own. I soon discovered that I needed some additional oversight. Paige and Wild Arrow Events to the rescue! Paige was on it. She assisted with our website, program, calendar of events and gift tags for content, verbiage and layout. It is so easy to overlook misspellings, alignment, punctuation, etc. when you look at your creations for too long. She caught things that were very blatant and would have been embarrassing if they went out to my guests. She made wonderful suggestions that I never would have thought of ask guest to be seated by a certain time, menu details, parking details, etc. While I have experience in events, not so much on weddings. Paige knows the ins and outs. We had our wedding at the Elms hotel in Excelsior Springs a historic and beautiful hotel, but there are some different things to consider at this type of venue. Plus, we also did a brunch wedding, while wonderful, is not as common. So the communication and flow really needed to be clearPaige was a step ahead of at all times. Paige also assisted with coordinating our decor and those little touches of welcome bags, cake boxes and guest gifts. I am so pleased with her services and her attention to the tiniest of details as that what made the difference to us and our guests. She will tackle the largest aspects of your wedding but also the smallest. It was a comfort to have her professionalism leading up to the wedding and the day of. There are so many pieces and parts to planning a wedding and during the planning process Ally made sure that we had everything from the wedding dress to petals for the flower girl to throw. “My husband and I got married in December 2023 and used Sofi for the entirety of our wedding planning. I'm not great at, nor do I enjoy planning parties/events, but once we explained our general vision, vibe, and hopes for our day, it was obvious Sofi had a clear idea of what we wanted and she hit the ground running. I cannot even fathom what our wedding would've been like without her. Every detail was carefully curated. She stuck to our budget and honestly made everything so enjoyable with her bubbly, fun, and kind personality. She felt like (and I'd like to this was!) a close friend throughout the course of the year that we planned our wedding, and then the day of the wedding came and she was all business (I mean that in the most respectful and awe-inspiring way). Her and her team could not have made the day easier or more stress-free for us. She was on top of everything and her attention never wavered from doing everything she could to make it the best day ever for us. There was even a small detail that was wrong with our drink menu at the bar; we had incorporated our dogs' names and a sketch of them, and the wrong sketch had been placed next to the wrong dog name. We wouldn't have been upset in the slightest, and yet Sofi made a call and had the corrected drink menu on its way within seriously only 20 minutes! Our special day just would not have been the same without Sofi's calm demeanor, attention to detail, and unique eye for design.”

“I wish I could give Aquina and the Authentically You team more than five stars. From our first proposal meeting, Aquina brought an incredible level of knowledge, experience, thoughtful guidance, and high-level execution throughout the entire wedding planning process. I had complete trust in her to recommend and manage all of our vendors and help bring our wedding vision to life and she delivered! We had multiple components: rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, wedding (including different venues for ceremony and reception), and a farewell brunch. To say it was complicated with a lot of moving parts is an understatement. Thanks to Aquina and her team, our wedding weekend was absolutely magical. We were able to truly focus on the day and celebrate with our loved ones, while she seamlessly handled all of the logistics. We even had a thunderstorm and tornado warning and Aquina sacrificed herself to go out in the pouring rain to move car seats in a shuttle. True dedication!!! I cannot recommend Aquina enough! We did partial planning as I’m a type A finance person (plus add on services for the night before and brunch after) and it was perfect. I felt like I always had Aquina’s full attention and help when needed. She’s well worth the investment!”
