Flora Wedding Co

5.0

Kansas City, MO
  • Starts at $1,000

Hi there! I use all wood flowers for my bouquets! I created Flora Wedding Co to help couples save money but still be able to have a preserved piece of their big day! Doing floral preservation and having fresh flowers to the extent I wanted was simply not in my wedding budget. I started with wood flowers and absolutely fell in love! I hand-dye each and every flower, hand stem them and arrange them. I love working with every couple and building them their dream wedding florals that will last a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
Iliana was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was great at communicating and responding to emails in a timely manner. She was super professional and took a lot of stress off my plate. The bouquets and corsages turned out soooo beautiful. The colors were perfect! The bouquets are extremely fragile so if you can pick them up in person as opposed to shipping them I would definitely recommend that. Iliana did a great job though!

KayCee Blossom Designs

5.0

Kansas City, MO

I have been in the Wedding Industry for 15+ years working alongside many of the best in the Kansas City industry. I continue to work alongside many familiar names in the floral industry while helping my own clients.

I didn’t expect the flowers to be one of my favorite parts of my wedding day — but OMG, Kaycee absolutely blew me away. I hadn’t been overly focused on the floral details, but the sneak peeks she sent before the big day got me genuinely excited. When I finally saw everything in person, I was stunned. The arrangements were gorgeous — elegant, unique, and completely exceeded all expectations. Kaycee was so easy to work with and handled everything flawlessly. I can’t recommend her enough! Kaycee offers setup and takedown for an additional fee — and it was worth every penny. The tables looked absolutely beautiful, and she thoughtfully included candles that elevated the entire look. Side note: I honestly didn’t give her much direction because I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, but she took the few ideas I shared and completely knocked it out of the park. Her creativity and intuition are incredible — she just got it.

    The Painted Bouquet

    5.0

    Kansas City, MO

Angelique is the creative heart behind Painted Bouquet, designing chic, seasonal wedding florals for couples who choose France as the backdrop to their love story. Originally from the U.S., she brings an artist’s eye, a traveler’s spirit, and a love for authentic moments to every arrangement. Her work is never “off the shelf”—each bouquet is a collaboration, crafted to reflect the couple, the venue, and the fleeting beauty of the season.

From the very first message, communication was seamless and easy. You made everything feel smooth and stress-free, especially with us both being native English speakers it felt like chatting with a trusted friend who just gets it. That first impression really set the tone for the entire experience, and you absolutely exceeded every expectation I had. The floral designs didn’t just align with my vision they surpassed it in every possible way. The flowers were the most beautiful I have ever seen, with colours, textures, and arrangements that were beyond anything I could have imagined. They looked and smelled divine, and every bouquet, boutonnière, and table arrangement felt like pure magic. You brought my dream to life and then elevated it. What I loved most about the flowers was how breathtakingly beautiful and gorgeously scented they were. They truly brought the entire atmosphere to life; elegant, romantic, and full of personality. Every single arrangement was thoughtful and stunning, and the fact that guests are still talking about them says it all. They weren’t just flowers they were an experience. In summary: Book her without hesitation. You will be in the best hands. Angélique is not only incredibly talented and passionate about what she does, but she also brings such kindness, calm, and genuine care to the whole experience. Trust her eye, communicate openly (she makes it so easy!), and know that she will pour her heart into making your day magical. Oh and if she surprises you with one of her beautiful hand-drawn cards… treasure it. We’re framing ours! Everything was perfect. From our first chat to the wedding day itself, you went above and beyond. Your communication, creativity, and the personal touches (like the hand-drawn card of our chateau!) made the entire experience unforgettable. You made me feel completely at ease and understood every step of the way. I wouldn’t change a single thing.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      4.9

      • Starts at $350
      • Serves Kansas City, MO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I ordered the "peaches and cream" small package. We decided to skip on ceremony florals, and only have handhelds and bud vases at the reception. We did buy a few more flowers from the grocery to add more peach once the flowers arrived. We made and medium sized bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages, and 7 bouts. (With lots of flowers left over). My bridesmaids and I did the arranging the morning before the wedding; it was fun, and a great start to the weekend. None of us had experience, but it all turned out great! If you or your bridal party are mildly crafty, I'd highly recommend it!

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

WOOD FLOWERS that last a lifetime. At Pine & Petal Weddings, we believe flowers should endure as long as the memories they celebrate. Our handcrafted sola wood bouquets and décor go beyond fleeting blooms—capturing your story in pieces that last for years. From walking down the aisle to gifting a friend or gathering around the table, our wooden flowers are keepsakes that bring joy, comfort, and timeless beauty to life’s most meaningful moments.

We loved the flowers we received from Pine And Petal Weddings! The flowers were priced about the same as normal flowers I would have ordered (maybe slightly less), but we got to keep these ones. They were shipped on time and got to our house just about a month before the wedding. The flowers on the wedding day still looked like they did when we unpacked them! They did a great job with taking my vision and making it happen with the flower arrangements. The flowers are of great quality too! I wish the communication was a little more clear, but it is just through a messaging platform. If I were to go back and do it over I would absolutely still pick them, but request to have a voice/video call to ensure I knew exactly what to order.

      Forever Flowers Kansas City, LLC

      5.0

      Kansas City, MO
      • Starts at $40 per arrangement

I was born and raised in Paris, France and came to the U.S. in 2011 to go to college. I met my husband there and we are now raising an amazing little boy and our two dogs. My mom and grandma used to take me to all the museums, expositions, plays, etc. They made me fall in love with art. I started to paint and sculpt when I was 10. My love for art never faded as life became busy. I consider each and every bouquet/arrangement a unique piece of art, and pour my heart in every creation.

I absolutely loved the flower arrangement made by Forever Flowers for my wedding. It was very easy to take my flowers in a bag to my destination wedding. Not only did they not get tore up, but now I get to look at them forever. She can make any custom color designs you have in mind!
