We shared some playlists with him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor, and he completely understood the vibes we were going for and ran with it, working in everything from Irish folk songs to KPop Demon Hunters to Bruce Springsteen. “We used Jeremy as the DJ for our wedding in 2018, and he was an absolute star. He did the music at my company's holiday party the year before, and we knew we wanted to find him for our wedding! His organization and professionalism were top notch - and filling out the "must play" and "must not play" lists was really fun to do - we got to think about all of our favorite songs that we were excited to hear, and make sure he knew which songs were off limits for us. Because of that, our wedding felt super personalized, and we loved every song that played! We were also particularly thrilled with his execution of cocktail hour - we requested instrumental versions of modern/classic rock songs, and he found SO MANY great versions of so many great songs. When we talk to family and friends about our wedding, they without fail mention how much they loved the instrumental version of "Wake Me Up Inside" by Evanescence. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“The Goat Audio made our night a celebration we will always remember. Brandon had us dancing and smiling the entire night. He truly crafted us an amazing playlist with throwbacks that brought up great memories with my girls and family. Brandon also helped me surprise my now husband with a special dedication song that made his night and had all our guests smiling. He was a great communicator who truly got to know us and our guests to create a special night. The Photo Booth, run by his wife, was also a huge hit. Guests of all ages had a blast taking fun, memorable photos. I cannot recommend them enough to make your night fun and special!”

We ended up booking Sound Society as a three piece string arrangement for our ceremony and as a 10-piece band for our reception with emcee duties and they hit it out of the park. Every part of the process was simple and organized-- Neil from their team helped us choose special songs for the ceremony, tailor our do-not-plays and must-plays for the evening, and plotted out speaking cues throughout the night. A month later and we are still getting compliments about how alive our wedding band was! “I can't praise Marylands DJ enough! The team that worked with me, Taylor, DJ Steve, and DJ Scott were wonderful. Steve even condensed a song that I loved but felt was too long for a first dance down into a shorter version and now that's the only version I listen to.
