“This lady is a god damned delight. Early in the planning process, my mother died and it totally sapped me of any appetite for planning. I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro. Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is an LGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple. She was extremely RESPONSIVE to all communication and I don’t think I ever waited more than 24 hours to hear back from her. “When we started planning we wanted our day to be as stress-free as possible and fun so Attaboy was an easy choice. There was so much I loved about the venue, but here are some top considerations: Location/logistics- It was so easy to get everything and everyone to the venue and our guests loved how easy walking or parking was. Other vendors also expressed appreciation that they were able to get in earlier in the day and that it was easy to get to. Since it is off the creek, the outside area felt more intimate. There are also lots of cute areas to take pictures in the venue and just steps away. Aesthetics- the venue was beautiful! The simplicity of the set up really made our florals pop. They provided tables and seating which were perfect with our design. The whole space lends itself to so many different design possibilities. Also, since it is very cute/clean as it, we didn't need to go overboard with decor. Service- Anna was a huge help throughout the entire process. She made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly. She was also quick to address questions/needs. The day of the event all of the staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and fun!”

“Maddie and her team were so amazing, and I would recommend them to anyone! Especially if you are getting married in the Frederick area. She helped so much in ensuring everything went according to plan. We had some communication issues with our catering team, but Maddie made sure that everything was correct come the wedding day, and it was. She was always just a text away. We did not have a walk through with our venue, so it was difficult for me to picture everything set up. I provided photos for some decor, but Maddie and her team exceeded my expectations with the set up of everything. She was very communicative the whole day, was constantly there with a full glass of water, and never stopped checking in on us. She even bustled my dress after the ceremony! Her and her team were extremely quick in getting everything packed up for the end of the night, and helped make sure everything made it to where it needed to go. Looking back, I do not know how we could have done that without Maddie and her team but I am SO glad that we didn't have to! We are beyond grateful, and can't recommend DMV Wedding and Events enough!”

“I have nothing but incredible things to say about Dulany's! The owner and staff are all wonderful people and were so easy to work with, the venue is spacious and gorgeous, and the mountainous backdrop for our ceremony was more beautiful than I had even hoped for. Some huge selling points for us for the venue were it being pet friendly (this was a non-negotiable), including a day-of wedding coordinator (shout out Tammy!!), having a lot of freedom with the vendors we selected, a huge area for both the bridal party and groomsmen to hang out/get ready, an arch ready to be decorated, easy parking, and a golf cart for getting my elderly relatives around. It was truly a dream wedding and venue and I would recommend it to ANYONE!”
