“I honestly can't say enough amazing things about The Antrim 1844 Hotel! We had the most incredible wedding experience here, and I'm so grateful we found this gem. We actually heard about Antrim from a coworker whose family had their wedding there last spring. It wasn't even on our radar before that, but now I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else! During our planning process, we got to see so many different weddings they were hosting, and I was blown away by their unique ability to make everything from small intimate gatherings to expansive celebrations not just work, but work beautifully! They really know how to adapt to each couple's vision. Working with Jill was such a joy! She made the entire planning process feel effortless and actually fun. She was so flexible with all our changes and took the time to walk us through backup plans for weather, which gave us such peace of mind knowing we were covered no matter what. We got lucky with lovely weather and got married in their rose garden, and oh my goodness - it was so breathtakingly gorgeous that we barely needed to add any decorations! The natural beauty spoke for itself and created the most romantic, dreamy backdrop for our vows. Having so many family members and friends traveling to join us, the wedding weekend stay option was a game-changer! The complimentary breakfast for overnight guests was such a thoughtful touch - it meant everyone could wake up together and start each day without any stress about finding food. It really made the whole wedding weekend feel like one big family celebration. The bridal suite in the main mansion was absolutely perfect for getting ready! There was space for our entire wedding party plus my mom and friends to get ready together, and it provided the most beautiful backdrop for photos. We got so many stunning getting-ready shots in that gorgeous space! The food was absolutely delicious - both during our tasting and on the big day! Our guests are still raving about it. The team worked so seamlessly with all our other vendors too, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. We were thrilled about the veterans discount, which let us add some extra special touches like a dessert bar, upgraded appetizers, and shade canopies for the ceremony. They made it so easy to customize everything within our budget. Every single guest has told us what an amazing time they had, and we're already excited to come back for anniversaries! We've heard their holiday decorations are absolutely spectacular, so we're definitely planning a winter visit. We reviewed different DJ's and selected Mike because we wanted Latin Caribbean music plus American music for our entertainment. We put together a last-minute wedding reception plan, we sent the recommendations to Mike, and he worked everything perfectly. He was able to get a feel for the crowd and put music together that worked perfectly. Mike put together a timeline that was perfect, and we were able to accommodate all aspects of our reception, which included lots of dancing. “When we started planning we wanted our day to be as stress-free as possible and fun so Attaboy was an easy choice. There was so much I loved about the venue, but here are some top considerations: Location/logistics- It was so easy to get everything and everyone to the venue and our guests loved how easy walking or parking was. Other vendors also expressed appreciation that they were able to get in earlier in the day and that it was easy to get to. Since it is off the creek, the outside area felt more intimate. There are also lots of cute areas to take pictures in the venue and just steps away. Aesthetics- the venue was beautiful! The simplicity of the set up really made our florals pop. They provided tables and seating which were perfect with our design. The whole space lends itself to so many different design possibilities. Also, since it is very cute/clean as it, we didn't need to go overboard with decor. Service- Anna was a huge help throughout the entire process. She made me feel confident that everything would run smoothly. She was also quick to address questions/needs. The day of the event all of the staff were wonderful. They were so friendly and fun!”

“Maddie and her team were so amazing, and I would recommend them to anyone! Especially if you are getting married in the Frederick area. She helped so much in ensuring everything went according to plan. We had some communication issues with our catering team, but Maddie made sure that everything was correct come the wedding day, and it was. She was always just a text away. We did not have a walk through with our venue, so it was difficult for me to picture everything set up. I provided photos for some decor, but Maddie and her team exceeded my expectations with the set up of everything. She was very communicative the whole day, was constantly there with a full glass of water, and never stopped checking in on us. She even bustled my dress after the ceremony! Her and her team were extremely quick in getting everything packed up for the end of the night, and helped make sure everything made it to where it needed to go. Looking back, I do not know how we could have done that without Maddie and her team but I am SO glad that we didn't have to! “Our experience at Union Mills was truly exceptional. Our guests absolutely loved the venue, and we received countless compliments on the food. Everyone raved about what they ate and the pizza was a complete hit! Our guests felt well-fed the entire night and are still talking about the pizza. The mocktail was also a favorite, people couldn’t stop talking about it. Mary and Niko were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire planning process. They addressed all of our concerns with patience and care, and worked closely with us to create a menu that was exactly what we wanted for our guests. Niko went above and beyond by crafting a menu that incorporated items inspired by restaurants we love to visit, as well as dishes that reflected our culture. She was our day of coordinator so we started working with her consistently a little over 2 months out from our wedding day. She communicated with us every step of the way, was upfront about everything, and thought through details we didn't even know to consider. We offer our strongest possible recommendation, and our earnest thanks, to Debbie and her staff for making our wedding day more beautiful than we had ever imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous. The mansion is colorful and picturesque; the indoors are classy but not cluttered; the grounds are sprawling and luscious. We held our ceremony in a gorgeous, decorated, wooded grove, and took photos throughout the surrounding farmlands. We were very happy with the amount of space our guests had available to roam and mingle inside and outside the mansion. The ballroom was spacious, and with a cool summer evening, we were able to open an outdoor patio/tent area for guests to socialize. Also, when the evening wound down, we went to the roofdeck with close family and friends for a late afterparty under the stars—a gorgeous night in the countryside! Debbie and her staff are amazing. We can’t say enough about Debbie herself. She treated us like a member of her family, not just another customer. She was also easy to reach and easy to talk to throughout the planning process. She worked to understand our needs and sincerely respected our vision for our wedding, making several accommodations for our plans—such as permitting us to select off-list vendors, working with our family’s arrival time needs, and allowing us to stay in the honeymoon suite before the wedding. On our wedding day, she stayed on top of managing the vendors so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves. We owe a special thanks to Debbie’s staff for helping out in the aftermath of a hurricane. During the week before our wedding, the remnants of a tropical storm swept through Maryland. We were very worried that we would have to commit to an indoor ceremony, but the storm cleared late on Friday night, and Saturday was temperate and picturesque. Debbie and her staff arrived early Saturday morning and worked very hard to get the mansion and the grounds ready. Their hard work made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. “I cannot put into words how much we recommend Caboose Farm. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Colby and the entire Caboose Farm team made us feel like we were part of the family. We stayed on the property for the weekend, along with some of our family, and it made the whole experience even more special. On Friday, Katie led our rehearsal and made sure everything was organized and ready to go. We had our rehearsal dinner in the event barn, which gave us time to relax and get comfortable in the venue before our big day. It was absolutely perfect. Caboose Farm is a beautiful, rustic wedding venue located in Sabillasville, Maryland (just north of Frederick, MD) that blends beautiful scenery with convenient accommodations. Located in close proximity to Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the venue offers a charming 220-acre space with access to attractions such as golf, wineries, and hiking. Its scenery also provides a beautiful backdrop for events, with scenic wedding sites to choose from, countryside barn, and pastoral farms and pastures. Inside the event buildling we can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated dinner. For groups over 150, we would have to bring in a tent for the dinner portion of the evening. The property offers seven fully furnished houses on its premises that can, collectively, accommodate 97 guests. The houses offer you the opportunity to spend a full weekend with your friends and family while celebrating your special day with those you love!
