“This lady is a god damned delight. Early in the planning process, my mother died and it totally sapped me of any appetite for planning. I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro. Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is an LGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple. She was extremely RESPONSIVE to all communication and I don’t think I ever waited more than 24 hours to hear back from her. Her planning expertise prior to the actual weekend was invaluable, but she really was our angel during the wedding weekend. “Margo did makeup for my bridesmaids, my mother/mother-in-law, and hairmakeup for myself. I couldn’t have been happier with the results and be grateful to Margo and her team, especially since she had to work in a small space packed with very energetic and boisterous gals. “We looked at so many videographers and watched so many wedding videos. Livvy’s style was exactly what we were looking for. She was super responsive and easy to work with from day one, and her packages were incredibly reasonable. When we met to do our love story, Livvy was fun and made sure we were both comfortable. She gave great direction so we never felt awkward. She really was an incredible hype girl the whole time, which made us feel even more comfortable about being in front of a camera. I’m pretty sure she got us our love story in around 24 hours (benefits of the off season!) I cry every time I watch it. I’m just in awe of her artistry…the questions she asked us and the way she wove our answers together tells our story so beautifully….it’s truly something we will treasure forever. On our wedding day, Livvy was awesome. She really was a ninja in getting her shots, because after our couples portraits, I didn’t even see her until she was getting ready to leave! We got our teaser trailer pretty quickly, and we got our full video not long after that, and every time we watch it, we notice another subtle detail that just blows us away (one of my favorite details is how when I mentioned our dog in my vows, she overlaid video of us with our dog before the ceremony). When we got our motion book (which is another fantastic bonus of booking Livvy!), the screen was cracked, but we contacted Livvy and she had a replacement ordered and sent in like 24 hours! We can’t say enough great things about Livvy. If you are on the fence about hiring a videographer–just do it, and hire Livvy if you can. You will not regret it.”

“Ostertag Vistas was the best choice for us. We are so grateful for Donna, the venue owner and her staff for a day we will never forget. The views were amazing, everywhere. The Barn was just what we were looking for, all of our friends and family loved it. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Donna was very professional, detail oriented, and super to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. Terry, our Ostertag Wedding Coordinator, made perfect recommendations based on who we are, and filled in with so many details we didn't even know to ask about. The staff as well were extremely friendly and easy to work with from the Bartender to the Parking Attendants and especially the Wait Staff. After our wedding, our families and guests could not say enough good things about our wedding day at Ostertag. We had 120 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We had our ceremony at Fernwood, surrounded by gorgeous trees and a storybook brook, it was like a fairytale! We rented their arbor, and barn doors for the ceremony, perfect for making this space a magical dream come true. Our cocktail hour was on the Patio and our guests could also go into the Stable making this hour very spacious and inviting. When it was time for our reception, the staff escorted our guest to the main barn and helped our elderly grandparents with the escorted golf cart. The golf cart was also used to help our Grandparents get to the ceremony site and back to the cocktail hour, it was wonderful not to worry about how we would help them around that day. The main dining room in the Barn was setup by the Ostertag staff and when we entered, we were in ahh, everything looked amazing and just perfect. I will never forget our first dance. Our sweetheart table was setup in front of the fireplace, it was so intimate and just perfect! We provided the decor along with some Ostertag rentals, Terry and her staff placed it all together for the perfect setting. After dinner service, the staff moved our wedding cake to the middle of the dance floor for our formal cake cutting, they then sliced and served our cake to the guests as we danced the night away. The staff provided a perfect Coffee Station with Tea and Hot Chocolate for our guests to enjoy as well. Everything flowed well and as planned, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The day of our wedding, I did not feel stressed or worried about any details coming together because I knew everything was prepared and being taken care of by Donna, Terry, and their capable staff. They gave us our dream day that my husband and I will never forget and will treasure forever.”

“Jon was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Lissa Marie Weddings and Events), and we immediately hired him after our initial meeting. “I can’t say enough good things about Glen Ellen Farm! The property is BEAUTIFUL and was so perfect in every way. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the house is beautiful, and Debbie is amazing. She answered all of my questions and you can tell she is truly passionate about what she does. The tent, tables, and chairs were included which was a HUGE bonus for us. We ended up putting the sides of the tent down due to wind. Don’t know what we would have done if that wasn’t an option. “Maryland National was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! From the very beginning, Reghan and the whole team were incredible. Reghan went above and beyond to help us plan everything – she was so easy to work with and always had the best recommendations. I loved how easy it was to communicate with her through email. We got married at our church, but had the reception at Maryland National. They even let us use the club to get ready since our church didn't have a space! The girls got ready upstairs, and the guys used the locker rooms, which was amazing for getting-ready photos. Plus, the food was delicious! What we loved most was that we didn't have to set up or clean up anything – Maryland National took care of it all. We didn't even have to take decorations home the night of the wedding! We could pick them up the next day. It was the most perfect day, and we can't thank Reghan and the staff enough. Seriously, if you're looking for an amazing venue, this is it!”

“Caroline and her team provided the flowers for our recent wedding at Brookside Gardens and they were absolutely breathtaking! We provided some inspiration photos as well as our wedding colors, and we could not believe how stunning the flowers were… Just look at those colors! We also appreciate that the flowers are locally grown, and Caroline selected the perfect in-season blooms for our wedding. Caroline has been a delight to work with and we recommend her 100%!”
