We shared with him a playlist of some of our favorite songs, a list of "do not play" whether they were styles of music, artists or specific songs and a "must play" list. His online forum was easy to navigate and use. We loved the uplighting and the audio guestbook (phone)!! Also I appreciate that he read and followed through with all the small notes we left for him (specifically we asked for father/daughter, mother/son and first dance to end after the chorus and not play the entire 3-4 minutes). We got married at a camp in the Catskills with the ceremony out in the woods, which meant some tricky logistics: separate sound for the ceremony in the trees, load-in with the venue staff, a timeline that kept shifting on him. Ore handled all of it and we never had to think about any of it. The music was unreal, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our guests basically refused to leave it, and we honestly lost count of how many people came up to us throughout the night to say how good the music and the DJ were. The thing I'll always remember, though, is how he made space for my Tío to play. My Tío sang and played guitar, and Ore made sure he had everything he needed to do it right. “Lucas knows his stuff but also makes a point to know your stuff just as well. He sees the big picture of your wedding day and is beyond generous with his knowledge. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to schedule time with him leading up to the wedding. We had several video calls and he was always calm and confident as we dished him all the stress we could manage. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. It was a perfect day beyond my wildest expectations, and Lucas Walters was a huge part of that.”

“The first time I met Tony I knew he was going to be our DJ. He was so easy to talk to, and aside from that out of all the DJs we met with he was the only one that asked us what we wanted and what kind of music we had in mind. Hiring Tony was by far THE BEST decision we have ever made. Our dance floor was packed all night, and even the event staff were dancing throughout the night because he was that good. Everyone I talk to raves about how much fun they had and how awesome he was. Not only will he make sure the music is great and your dance floor is on fire, but he actually cares about what you and your significant other want. The week before our wedding so many vendors were reaching out to us about all the things that needed to be finalized; but when we met with Tony that Tuesday before our wedding he was such a breath of fresh air. “Living Jade was the best decision we made for our wedding vendors. They played at our engagement party in Santa Barbara and our actual wedding in San Francisco. Steve encountered an issue with a band member. The singer got sick the day before the wedding, but he found a replacement that was outstanding.
