“First of all, they were the first vendors we booked and can see why they come so highly recommended!!Jeremy was excellent in coordinating all things leading up to the wedding including the wedding day timeline, and he set us up with the absolute best group of people for our wedding day. The day of we had Nick as our DJ and Mike as our MC, they checked in with us a few days before to see if we had any questions or concerns and were so attentive throughout our entire wedding. They brought so much heart, energy, and fun to our day and I seriously can’t imagine having our wedding without them. People are still talking about the amazing music selection, the dancing, the crowd surfing, and the fact that they were the best DJs they’ve ever seen at a wedding. At one point, the smoke detectors went off due to someone smoking in the bathroom, causing the entire wedding to evacuate outside. As you could imagine this situation would normally be stressful, or cause low morale when entering back in after 15-20 mins of being outside waiting for the fire department, but I can’t emphasize enough how Mike and Nick absolutely KILLED it and immediately brought back the energy and dancing as if nothing happened. They played “we didn’t start the fire” and I swear I’m still smiling about how iconic that was. I can’t recommend this group enough, ESPECIALLY Mike and Nick. Thank you for making our night absolutely epic and unforgettable!”

“My wedding was on December 9th and I have been eager to write this review to share my experience with High Voltage. While I worked with many vendors, High Voltage went absolutely above and beyond. Prior to the wedding day, I met with Anthony several times so that he could get to know us and understand what music and atmosphere worked best for us. I felt like we worked as a team to finalize all of the details. It was a perfect mix of them letting us do what we wanted while also providing us with recommendations based on their expertise and what had worked best in the past. The entire day they exceeded above and beyond and didn’t miss a beat. They performed music and video services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They had check ins with us throughout the day to make sure everything was working well from the temperature of the room to the uplighting to the vibe of the music. One unique quality that High voltage has is their ability to combine music with videography. At first I wasn’t sure if I should add on the videography but it was 1000000% worth it. They created 3 reels for us and filmed my ceremony as a surprise which was the best surprise ever. Every single add on was worth it from the dancing on the cloud, to the additional uplifting, to the reel, to the DJ booth, to the CO 2 cannons. Anthony even stepped in to help last minute when I wanted to donate my bouquet to my mom by facilitating the speech when I was feeling overwhelmed to talk in front of people. I still have people raving about their services… people from ages of 12 to 94 years old. I loved how you could pick the layout for the DJ booth and you got a special album after. The turnaround time for the reel was unmatched. Angelo’s work with the reel was 1000000/10. I got back the content in less than two weeks. I never once felt in the dark and most importantly I didn’t just feel like a number to them. I honestly can’t say one bad or negative thing about them. Thank you for making our day so special!!!”

“**Dr. Beat was absolutely incredible!** We had **Mike and Gene** as our DJ and MC, and they made our night unforgettable. From our very first phone call, we knew we’d made the right choice — they gave off great vibes, were professional, and truly delivered. Everything was perfect, from the rustic façade of the DJ booth to the cocktail hour playlist (which sounded like something we would’ve made ourselves) to the incredible reception music. They were honest, familiar with our venue (Toast in Patchogue), and never tried to upsell us. Mike took the time to go over our preferences beforehand, and he just *got it*. They understood the assignment and gave us a night we’ll never forget. The dance floor was packed the entire evening — not a single person left on the first shuttle because no one wanted to stop dancing, not even my 91-year-old grandma who stayed until the very end! They paid close attention to every detail — from our final dance song to the special tribute song for my brother and every request in between. Throughout the night, they checked in with us to make sure we were happy, seamlessly made announcements to gather guests for photos or speeches, and kept the energy high from start to finish. If you’re debating between hiring just a DJ or a DJ and MC — **get both!** It makes such a difference. The DJ can focus on mixing while the MC hypes up the crowd and keeps everything running smoothly. Our only “complaint” was that the dance floor was *too crowded* — exactly what we wanted! “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“I highly recommend booking IKSounds Entertainment! Victor is super flexible and responsive. We had to reschedule some of our meetings a couple times and he responded immediately and was available when we were available. He is very versatile and provides ANY and ALL genres. He was organized with our timeline, he was on time on wedding day and set up efficiently in 3 different locations at our venue. He ensured that everyone's names were pronounced correctly and made everyone feel comfortable. He interacted with our wedding guests and made sure everyone was on the dance floor. Everyone commented on how fun he made the night. He offered many different packages and allowed us to add on to our package whenever we needed. We ended up adding his Photo Booth services which was a MAIN attraction at our wedding. I seriously can go on and on about how amazing Victor and his team were. Book this team you will not regret it!”

“Golden Bells was PHENOMENAL! Marlon and the entire band absolutely crushed it at our wedding. Not only is every musician insanely talented, but Marlon curated the night perfectly -- easing in with oldies to get our parents and older guests moving, then seamlessly shifting into the EDM, pop, and Bay Area rap we love. It felt like the soundtrack of us, and everyone could feel that. One of the highlights of the night was when the band came onto the dance floor with drums, trumpet, guitar, and trombone -- and even let us drum in a bit. The energy was unbelievable. And Hava Nagila with a full live band? Unreal. The band/DJ fusion setup made the entire reception feel elevated, unique, and unforgettable. They're truly a one-of-one. We got so many compliments throughout the night and later about the music, the vibe, and the experience the band created. Everything ran smoothly -- from emceeing to sound to transitions -- and you can tell the quality of their equipment and professionalism is top-notch. We can't thank Marlon and the Golden Bells team enough for making our wedding feel like a celebration we'll never forget. Highly, highly recommend them!”

“HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“Marcus did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse! Prior to the wedding, we completed a worksheet on the timeline and our song preferences, and then had a planning meeting with him where we went over all the details and he gave us advice on flow and timeline based on his extensive experience DJ-ing weddings. Through all our interactions, we could tell how detail-oriented and experienced he was. The Prospect Park Boathouse can be a tricky venue with its short load-in time and long, narrow layout, but Marcus knew it well and planned accordingly. We also had a Vietnamese/Chinese wedding; in addition to a DJ, we also had a pianist with a singer, and a bilingual emcee. This added some complexity in terms of timeline and switching between the singer and the DJ, but Marcus coordinated well with everyone, kept track of the timeline, and handled all transitions between live music and DJ sets seamlessly. He also showed up a little early to make sure all equipment was set up well and did a mic check during the cocktail hour. During the dance portion of the night, the dance floor was packed all night and people did not want to leave! He played all the songs we wanted (along with additional ones he selected) and all the transitions and mixes were fantastic and kept the energy/vibe high. Many guests commented on how great our DJ was! Even though we had a different emcee, we know that Marcus would have done a fantastic job as an emcee as well - he is warm, friendly, gracious, and charismatic. He is not only a great DJ but also a fantastic human being!”

“Hiring DJ KDOT LIM (Kevin) was the best decision we made when going through the process of hiring our vendors. I am very particular about my music and it was a TOP priority that we worked with someone that understood our vibe, vision, and overall music selection for our big day. He was such a pro and knew what to ask for our venue's AV set up, music prep, and even attending rehearsal which was totally optional for him to join. Kevin understood everything from the timing of the music for the processional, and most importantly my big entrance down the aisle. When it was time to party, he spun all the tunes I requested and also went above and beyond to DJ the most FUN set ever!!! One of my highlights from the day was my husband and I dancing to one of our favorite house tracks that I didn't even request. He just had the perfect song queued up for the right time!!! I can't imagine what the day would have been without him. He had all our guests up and dancing including my parents and uncles and aunties. The vibes were immaculate!!! Above all, his personality is so kind and chill which is the kind of person you want to be working with for such a big life event. I cannot highly recommend him enough!”

We originally intended to just keep it simple w/ a curated playlist & BT speaker. But for our 20th, why not have a DJ!? Kenny scheduled appointments not only with my wife & I in preparation of the party, but he also coordinated time w/ our MC, photographer, etc. He made sure that he, along with the other hired services, worked seamlessly with each other. “Louis Pettinelli Entertainment was an absolute dream to work with. I thought that a live band for our wedding would be out of our reach, but LPE was so easy to work with and what an incredible value! Our band, LPE Snapshot was incredible and our ceremony musicians were amazing too! The vocalists were high energy and kept the whole event moving. They were great Emcess and they even added some special non-traditional reception activities for us. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. So many of my guests said the band was their favorite part of the reception. I highly recommend LPE entertainment! (I am also a musician myself so I’m very picky!)”
