I loved that he had outfit options, as our wedding was themed "Love Through the Ages" and we requested all of our guests to wear attire from their favorite decade. It was fabulous that we were able to pick his super awesome outfit to stand out (and in theme) for the wedding. He curated the most amazing playlist, based on our theme, so we got to drift through music from the 20's, 30's, 40's, and all the way through to current day. He is such a charismatic and engaging host and was able to convince folks (who I never thought would have danced) to get onto the dance floor. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with Brandon's talents and feel so grateful that The Knot had him on their vendor list for us to find.”

“We are so glad we used Second Song for our wedding! The whole process was super easy and whenever we had a question or wanted to update something (like add more uplights, which was a great addition btw) we always got a prompt and helpful reply. And our DJ Rob Goodmonson! We cannot thank him enough for the amazing work he did at our wedding! We loved his energy and all of his questions that he had for us during our phone call consultation. I in particular am very grateful that he was so willing to help me with a special song request which required mixing bits from two songs together for my Father-Daughter dance. He was more than up for the challenge and was so helpful with it! When it came to the actual wedding, he was so kind when introducing himself on our wedding day and did a beautiful job MCing. We wanted more minimal MC work and he nailed it perfectly! He was also super flexible with last minute announcement requests that we had. For example, we realized no one was noticing the anniversary cards we put out for signing at the dinner tables, so we asked him to make a little announcement about it and he did great doing that on the spot! Finally, the music all night was absolutely fantastic. He really listened to what we wanted and he delivered! The music felt very much like “us” and we had so much fun dancing all night long. Everyone kept talking about how great he was and several people said it was the best wedding music they have ever heard. If we ever need a DJ again, without a doubt, we will be hiring DJ Rob!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!”

“Working with Joey was an unbelievable pleasure. My now husband and I were quite nervous about hiring a DJ (naturally given it was our first time!), but the second I found and spoke to Joey over the phone in an introductory call, I knew we were in good hands. His warmth, charisma and incredible professional experience was apparent, even during those first few minutes. Joey is an unbelievably talented performer (he played live cello at our ceremony) and a well seasoned DJ. What we didn’t know when we first hired him, was just how much help Joey would be in helping us schedule and orchestrate the flow of our full wedding. We had multiple calls and meetings, well before the wedding day, where Joey kept us informed and confident all throughout. He helped us coordinate the music not only to the most important parts of the wedding, but also to all in the in-betweens, making sure that good vibes were always flowing throughout the whole thing. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to make it all happen. Joey is also someone who is incredibly organized and pays great attention to detail and timing. He kept things moving (even though that was outside the scope of his work) and made sure everything was on schedule. Even when we ended up going overtime (not to the fault of Joey but family getting too carried away with speeches!), Joey quickly and expertly adjusted his set and made the final dance party something we will never forget. I truly mean this when I say don’t look any further. “From the very beginning, working with Joe was an incredible experience. Joe was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day exactly what we envisioned. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process, and he made himself available for phone calls whenever we had questions or wanted to go over details. The music planning forms were easy to use and made organizing everything—from our ceremony music to the reception—simple and stress-free. Our venue had several different areas that all required separate sound setups, including the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and everything transitioned seamlessly. One of the biggest challenges was that our ceremony location didn't have electrical power, but Joe came fully prepared with a system that worked flawlessly. Every ceremony cue was timed perfectly, and hearing each song start exactly when it was supposed to made the ceremony feel even more special. Throughout the reception, Joe kept everything running smoothly. The sound quality was excellent, announcements were clear, and he did an outstanding job reading the crowd while also honoring the atmosphere and music we wanted. The dance floor stayed full all night, and we've had so many guests tell us how much fun they had. She sent us her repertoire even before booking, which was extensive and spanned classical, jazz, pop, and more, with plenty of songs we liked. There was also an option to request non-repertoire songs for a small fee. Of particular note, we were deciding between two different songs for our processional (including one off-repertoire), and Paulina sent us samples (for free!) so we could hear the arrangements and directly compare them before making our final decision.
