Wedding planning was not as stressful because I had so much help from venue host and coordinators, even tho I live in another state. The venue was so beautiful during the summer time! Everything was green and blossoming, a bit on the warmer side, but the openness of the reception area allowed breeze to cool us off. The bridal suite was such a dream!! There was enough space for the hair & makeup artists, bridesmaids, mothers, and grandmothers to get ready. The grooms quarters were also spacious and allowed for bonding time before the ceremony. Parking services were great, the guests had a smooth time with it and finding the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception sites. Cannot recommend this venue enough, everything was wonderful and magical!!

Jeremy and the rest of his team were wonderful! I never had any concerns that he was unable to answer promptly. The team was professional while providing an atmosphere that made my wife and I felt like part of their family. The location is absolutely stunning during all seasons (we visited several times leading up to the wedding and even had our engagement shoot there) and looks great in all of our photos! With multiple locations on the property and only one event per day, you truly have all the space you need and more. As members of the LGBTQ community, it was important that we find a vendor that aligned with our values and provided a safe space and they exceeded that! 100/10 would absolutely recommend choosing Starlight Meadow for your event!

Reservations include private use of all grounds and facilities - we only host one wedding at a time. Garden chairs, banquet tables, tablecloths in a variety of colors and choice of two centerpiece styles are included. Rates are based on day of the week, month and services. May, June, September, October and December are considered on-peak. Friday and Saturday are considered on-peak. Rates vary from $3100 for an outdoor garden wedding and reception to $7900 for a full weekend of services including overnight. Rosa Lee Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Their communication was very quick, whether by email or text, which was so helpful during the planning process. Everything was clean and organized, and the price was very reasonable compared to other places, especially considering all that they offer. They made everything so smooth for us on the day, and we even got a complimentary breakfast basket! It was so convenient that they had a house on the property where we could have both our ceremony and reception. The house sleeps 12, so our bridal party was able to stay with us and get ready there as well. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day.

We could not have chosen a more perfect place for our destination wedding than The Berry Hill Resort and Convention Center. Our planning journey began nine months before the big day. After touring several venues in the Richmond area and feeling underwhelmed, we discovered Berry Hill—two hours away, but absolutely worth the drive. The pricing and amenities almost sounded too good to be true, so we fully expected to find a flaw when we visited. Instead, we fell completely in love. The moment we walked into the mansion, we knew it was the place. It was even more beautiful in person—grand, elegant, and full of character. An added bonus was that everything was handicap accessible, which was essential for my dad and made the weekend comfortable and stress-free for him. Our original coordinator was knowledgeable, friendly, laid-back, and made the entire planning process incredibly smooth. She even gave us her personal cell phone number and was always prompt, responsive, and reassuring. About three months before the wedding, she left the venue, which could have introduced stress, but Stephanie stepped in immediately. She introduced herself, explained her years of experience, and let us know we were in great hands. She was absolutely right. Stephanie handled the final planning, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception with total precision. She anticipated every detail and managed each part of the wedding flawlessly. I felt confident every step of the way that nothing would be overlooked—and nothing was. The staff overall was excellent. The hotel rooms were gorgeous and surprisingly affordable, making it easy for guests traveling from out of town. The event spaces were stunning and grand, offering an experience that felt luxurious without the luxury price tag. Truly—you get twice the wedding for half the price. The grounds were beautiful for our mid-November outdoor wedding, and both the food at Darby’s Tavern and the reception were fantastic. If you’re considering Berry Hill for your wedding: run, don’t walk, to book it. It exceeded every expectation and gave us the perfect wedding day. We could not be more grateful.

The Hive is a beautiful event center located in Staley, NC. We are situated on 200 acres of rolling farm land in Randolph county NC. Our facility began life as the clubhouse for Ferguson Farms Golf Course. When the golf course closed in 2012, it sat abandoned until our family came across the land. We came across this gem while we were searching for a larger property to expand our farm. It had been neglected for so many years, but we immediately saw great potential in its natural beauty, barns, and clubhouse. The streams, ponds, and woodlands teamed with wildlife and we just knew this farm had to been revived into something new, a place where joy, laughter and unity would be experienced.

It has some of the most beautiful views in Randolph COunty - there are real live animals there... concrete walking paths - indoor and outdoor options - climate controlled facility - Wedding barn the bathrooms have some sort of custom made epoxy coated solid oak counter tops - there is real farm equipment but they will move it out of site if needed sunset off of a roll up garage door - very unique and much less expensive than others
