“My wedding was on December 9th and I have been eager to write this review to share my experience with High Voltage. While I worked with many vendors, High Voltage went absolutely above and beyond. Prior to the wedding day, I met with Anthony several times so that he could get to know us and understand what music and atmosphere worked best for us. I felt like we worked as a team to finalize all of the details. It was a perfect mix of them letting us do what we wanted while also providing us with recommendations based on their expertise and what had worked best in the past. The entire day they exceeded above and beyond and didn’t miss a beat. They performed music and video services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They had check ins with us throughout the day to make sure everything was working well from the temperature of the room to the uplighting to the vibe of the music. One unique quality that High voltage has is their ability to combine music with videography. At first I wasn’t sure if I should add on the videography but it was 1000000% worth it. They created 3 reels for us and filmed my ceremony as a surprise which was the best surprise ever. Every single add on was worth it from the dancing on the cloud, to the additional uplifting, to the reel, to the DJ booth, to the CO 2 cannons. Anthony even stepped in to help last minute when I wanted to donate my bouquet to my mom by facilitating the speech when I was feeling overwhelmed to talk in front of people. I still have people raving about their services… people from ages of 12 to 94 years old. I loved how you could pick the layout for the DJ booth and you got a special album after. The turnaround time for the reel was unmatched. Angelo’s work with the reel was 1000000/10. I got back the content in less than two weeks. I never once felt in the dark and most importantly I didn’t just feel like a number to them. I honestly can’t say one bad or negative thing about them. Thank you for making our day so special!!!”

Everything was perfect, from the rustic façade of the DJ booth to the cocktail hour playlist (which sounded like something we would’ve made ourselves) to the incredible reception music. They were honest, familiar with our venue (Toast in Patchogue), and never tried to upsell us. Mike took the time to go over our preferences beforehand, and he just *got it*. They understood the assignment and gave us a night we’ll never forget. The dance floor was packed the entire evening — not a single person left on the first shuttle because no one wanted to stop dancing, not even my 91-year-old grandma who stayed until the very end! They paid close attention to every detail — from our final dance song to the special tribute song for my brother and every request in between. Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”
