Our wedding at Meyer's Castle was nothing short of magical, and we owe so much of that to our incredible coordinator, Eva.

From day one, Eva was organized, thoughtful, and so genuinely caring. She made sure every detail was in place and that everything ran smoothly--not just behind the scenes, but for me personally as the bride. The day was beautiful, but hot, and Eva went above and beyond to make sure I stayed comfortable and calm. At one point when I was feeling overheated, she literally helped pin my hair up herself. That kind of kindness, grace, and hands-on support is something I'll never forget.

Meyer's Castle was the most stunning backdrop to our big day. The grounds are breathtaking, the atmosphere is so elegant, and our guests were completely blown away by the beauty of it all. Every part of the venue felt like it was straight out of a fairytale--from the ceremony setting to the castle charm that made the whole day feel surreal.

I truly can't imagine having done this without Eva by our side. She was a calm in the chaos, a true professional, and someone who genuinely cared about making our day perfect.

If you're thinking about booking Meyer's Castle--do it. And if you're lucky enough to have Eva as your coordinator, just know you're in the best hands. I'll be forever grateful for her and this dreamy venue that brought our love story to life.

Thank you, Eva & Meyer's Castle, for a day we'll cherish forever!

Having our wedding at Bay Pointe was to put it simply: perfection. We booked our wedding over a year in advance and from the first few seconds that we stepped in for our tour of the venue, we were in love. Mariesa, our sales manager, was so personable and so accommodating. The entire process leading up to the wedding was so efficient working with Madison. She was so communicative and so easy to work with. All of our changes, questions, recommendations, literally everything - she had an answer to! We always felt so welcomed by the entire staff. Our rehearsal dinner at the Bay Pointe Bar and Grill was beautiful and the staff that night were amazing - they made sure we were doing ok, our family was fed and everyone was having a good time. Lauren, our day of coordinator was excellent at her job. She worked so well with all of our vendors and family. We had the BEST time ever. The value is worth the money you spend. A huge thank you to everyone on the Bay Pointe team who helped us along the way and the weekend of.

Once we found The Lodge at Rush Lakes for our wedding venue, we knew it was the one! Logan and Dustin are the most down to earth and thoughtful guys who helped make our wedding day everything we dreamt of, plus more! We met with them multiple times on the property to go over everything wedding related. We live over 2 hours away and this place was worth the drive every single time! I could not recommend Rush Lakes enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue, special occasion, reunion, family gathering, bridal shower, baby shower, etc. We also worked with a handful of vendors recommended by Logan that have done events at Rush Lakes before, so the process was so incredibly easy! Being able to spend the weekend with our pups, friends, and family before and after our wedding day made it so much more special too. Being able to have our dogs be a part of our day meant everything to us and Rush Lakes made that possible. The whole property is stunning, there is not one bad spot for photos! Everything was perfect and I could talk highly about Rush Lakes for days on end. THE PERFECT VENUE!!! I miss it every single day. When our initial big wedding plans in another city fell through due to COVID-19, we were scrambling to find a local outdoor venue for an intimate wedding. Nicole responded immediately, and helped us plan our safe, small, intimate, beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. We held an intimate, outdoor wedding early in April at the Orchard Pond, and it could not have been more perfect. The staff was so amazing in taking care of so many details and helping us plan, and even managed to keep chairs dry for guests outdoors on a rainy Michigan day. They even worked with us a bit on the time to wait for the rain to clear and were so flexible! I also cannot say enough about how beautiful the setting is. I have attended larger weddings in the orchard on the hill, but beside the pond on the dock, with the lovely pine grove, the soft sounds of wind and the wildlife, and the rippling waves across the pond was truly the perfect spot for our intimate affair. The setting is beautiful and allowed our photographer to get many great photos from lots of different angles. The amazing staff also helped us plan our dream wedding in under a month and helped us stay on budget while still having a beautiful, unforgettable day. I truly cannot say enough about the Orchard. It truly is the perfect outdoor wedding venue!

Alaska Haus was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. From the beginning, their communication was timely, calm, and kind, which helped ease the stress of wedding planning. The quality of their work and value was also superb - they were affordable, accommodating, and offered plenty of options to customize our day. The ceremony and reception site was set up exactly as planned, and we didn't need any extra assistance from the staff. The venue itself is stunning, and we received so many compliments from our guests. The upstairs area was great for a dessert bar, photos, and extra seating, and the groom and groomsmen were able to use it to get ready before the ceremony. The extra patio space was also perfect for our guests to enjoy. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our experience at Alaska Haus.

The Clark’s Lakeside

Homer, MI
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $1,800

We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly, we began adding amenities to the property. In 2020 one of our daughters got engaged. As she began looking for a venue to host her wedding we came to realize that the perfect spot was right in front of us. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work to create a beautiful wedding venue. There are many opportunities on the property for one of a kind pictures. There are two picturesque options in front of the lake for the service and a new reception building that can seat up to 200 guests. With a 5 acre campus larger weddings can be accommodated with tent rental.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Natural elegance with open spaces

  • No on-site guest accommodations

My son’s wedding was here one week ago and it was absolutely perfect and stunning. Tammy made sure that it went seamless. I was short two table cloths and she offered to give me what I was missing and even put the tablecloths on the tables for me. I appreciate them letting us use this space to celebrate my son and daughter in law. Memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you.

Having our wedding at Woldumar was SO, SO special!!! We took the risk of having an August 10 wedding in their barn with no A/C...and we were rewarded with beautiful 70 degree weather. One of their exhaust fans was broken, but they purchased window fans and an industrial fan to keep the air moving. Definitely not an issue for us given our incredible weather, but I was a little nervous in the lead-up. Victoria was SO EASY to work with, I cannot sing her praises enough. From booking until wedding day, she was right there with us. She had fantastic advice on vendors and ceremony details that made things go so smoothly (walking across the bridge was the best idea EVER). The golf cart photo tour was AWESOME, too! My husband and I are very outdoorsy, so it was fun to spend so much time outside on our big day. You can tell the Woldumar staff put a lot of love into their grounds. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was! It was truly the perfect venue for us. We didn't even need much decor because the barn and ceremony space are so beautiful on their own. We didn't purchase day-before or day-after barn access which made things a little chaotic. I recommend getting the day-after cleaning, as we were in a mad rush to get things cleaned before midnight on wedding day. The security guard was also very rude during clean up. I'd pay extra to not have to deal with him again... All in all, great venue for the outdoorsy couple! We loved being able to choose all of our own vendors, too. We felt like we had so much creative control, which we wouldn't have gotten at a full-service venue. It's also so comforting to know our money went to a nature center. Much better than a golf course, at least in my opinion!

We had the most wonderful experience at St. Cecilia's on our wedding day! From booking to the day of the wedding, Nadine was so helpful! Communication was wonderful leading up to the day. We even got a layout of our table setup to send to other vendors. They were also so accommodating when we decided to move the buffet to the lower level of the building. Choosing this venue was truly a worthwhile investment! We were originally concerned about the option of only one bar vendor. But we now know why they prioritize them! Martha's catering went above and beyond for us and the bartenders were wonderful. They clearly know the venue and have a lot of experience. So do not let the catering options deter you, clearly St. Cecilia's has them picked for a reason and you can trust your vendors! Have I mentioned that the building is gorgeous!?! The ballroom is stunning and the rooms are all so magical. It is such a beautiful wedding venue. Our guests had a wonderful time!

My husband and I were married here on 7.13.2024. It was heavenly!!! When we toured other venues in the southwest Michigan region no place felt quite right. We happened to hear about Inisfree in passing and decided to drive over. Peggy and Bruce (the owners) couldn't have been kinder and more welcoming and they remained that way the entire process and continue to be! They have so much passion for Inisfree and it shows. The ground are beautiful and immaculate and they truly love to engage with people. We also rented all ten rooms out at the bed and breakfast for our wedding weekend and got special and intimate time with our friends- from pool time, garden/patio hangs, and delicious home made breakfasts (quiche, zucchini bread, blueberry muffins just to name some of my favorites). Our friends/wedding party who stayed onsite continue to rave about their stay and the guests of our wedding party couldn't get over how beautiful the property is. Everyone loved silent disco!!! Do you self a favor and book a tour. The place speaks for itself. We can't wait to return for our anniversary :)
