Welcome to Blue Barn Berry Farm & Event Venue, a fantastic place to eat, drink, and be married! Blue Barn is a photographer's dream - with our gorgeous one-of-a-kind indoor/outdoor lakeside venue, to our fully functioning blueberry and blackberry farm and gorgeous wooded locations, plan on posing for amazing pics all over the place! Our custom-engineered retractable clear walls offer you awesome flexibility! Too cold, too hot, or a little rainy? No worries - drop the windows, crank up the HVAC, and don't lose a moment of the gorgeous lake views! Our in-house culinary team offers a ton of great meal and appetizer options for any budget and a bar staff has great bar packages to make sure your guests are having a great event. We even have a giant room full of complimentary décor to add the final touches (at no charge!) to your BIG DAY. We'd love to give you a tour soon, and hope you'll love our venue even half as much as we do :)

A private dining space with spacious bar, A/V capability, an outdoor bistro patio and spacious backyard, Farmhouse is an ideal spot for rehearsal dinners and family celebrations. Our venue is 100% private - so the space is ALL YOURS. We are located just 0.3 miles from Blue Barn, so many of our wedding couples utilize this space for their rehearsal dinner after the evening-before ceremony walk-through.

    The Berry Farm is a stunning hidden gem!!

    I can’t even explain how special my wedding day was at The Berry Farm. From the outdoor space by the lake to the beautiful glass garage doors, it truly feels like a fairytale. Not only is the space stunning but Chris and Shanda were there to help me every step of the planning process, always being so genuine. With the added features of the harvest room and their amazing in house chef, this place is a full package deal. I highly recommend and am so thankful I forever get to have such special memories at The Berry Farm!

    Country Setting

    Blue Barn Berry Farm & Event Venue provided an excellent space for our wedding celebration. The venue itself is beautiful, with a rustic-chic barn aesthetic and scenic countryside views. While their email response time was a bit slow at times, the team was professional and attentive when we visited in person. The value for the rental fee was very good, and we were thrilled with how our wedding day turned out in this picturesque setting. We would highly recommend Blue Barn Berry Farm to any couple looking for a charming, countryside wedding venue.

    The most beautiful venue with the most incredible owners and team! We could not have had a more perfect day even if we tried!

We provide all bar services in house, per Indiana state law. Our bartenders are delightful and bar packages start at just $15/person for a well-stocked Host Bar :)
We have ample parking for 220 guests on site. For weddings/events over 150 guest, parking lot attendants are provided at NO additional charge
We host weddings from April to early November
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Our venue rental includes full-access to the property starting at 9am, as well as all tables, chairs, table linens, and any of our FREE decor items you've selected from our expansive borrow closet. Our staff sets all tables and chairs according to your wedding layout prior to your arrival, so all you need to do is decorate (and have a magical day! :) Our on-site bridal quarters is also included in the package, as well as full-access to the entire property for pictures.
Your reservation includes six hours of event time. The couple and their family/bridal party have access to the property starting at 9am for all set-up, etc. Events conclude by 10pm with a complimentary hour to pack up until 11pm.
Syracuse, Indiana is a gorgeous lake community, home to some of the largest freshwater lakes in the Midwest. We are an equidistant 52 miles from South Bend and Fort Wayne airports, and apprx. 2.5 hours from Chicago and Indianapolis. We highly recommend staying for the entire weekend and enjoying some great local restaurants and lake fun!!
It is highly recommended to get wedding insurance. It protects our couples from any unforeseen cancellations, reschedules, etc. and the related costs. All our vendors are required to have proper insurance. Any vendors on OUR preferred vendor list have insurance on file with us already. If using outside vendors, they will need to provide proof of insurance prior to setting up on site. Many homeowner policies can provide day-off coverage (often at no or minimal charge) by simply naming our venue as an additional insured on the day-of the event. Our knowledgeable team can happily assist with any questions after booking.
No. Indiana state law prohibits outside alcohol on property. Our licensed bartenders are happy to take care of all your bar needs for your event :)
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable.
Our sister venue, Farmhouse, is located just 0.3 miles from Blue Barn, and is an excellent 100% private location for rehearsal dinners for up to 65 guests. We have full three-way bar capabilities, expansive menus options, and a great outside patio and lawn for enjoying the outside.
