    Amazing venue coordinator

    We had a fantastic wedding reception at The Brick with Navarre Catering. We loved the event space at The Brick and we knew Navarre would be great with the food but what really made our wedding amazing was the venue coordinator, DeAsarae. She went above and beyond for everything! Anything we had a question on, she gave us an answer immediately and was very patient. She was our “yes girl” and she followed through with everything. Our wedding would have not been as amazing if it wasn’t for DeAsarae. She made the whole planning process run so smoothly and effortlessly

    Rehersal Dinner

    We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Brick, and had a fabulous experience. While the space is large, they made the room feel perfect for our smaller, 65-person event. De is awesome to work with; she made herself and the space available for multiple previews, and for my parents coming early to set up. She also worked with the Navarre team to dial-in a few special menu items to make the experience even more unique. I cannot say enough good things!

    One of the nicest venues in town!

    South Bend does not offer a lot of premier, elite, and professional venue spaces, so The Brick is truly in a class all its own. It was very easy to coordinate a visit with the venue coordinator, DeAsarae, who streamlined the process and it made it very easy upon booking. She connected me to the catering company which was also very professional and worked to ensure my vendors had access to the venue space on the day of the event to pull off a great celebration of my husband's milestone birthday! I highly recommend The Brick to anyone interested in a quality event in a beautiful space!

    Desarae Johnsen - The Brick

    We had our wedding reception at the Brick and had a great experience. Desarae Johnsen was amazing to work with and helped take the stress off as much as she could. Our day turned out absolutely perfect and the venue was raved about by our guests.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
You gain access to the room at 10am until 12am, day of event
In the event a cancellation is necessary, 50% of the deposit if refundable if the event is cancelled in writing more than 6 months prior to event date, any services rendered will be deducted from the refund. Deposit is non-refundable if event cancels less than 6 months before the event date. A change in date from the original contract, after 48 hours, will forfeit 50% of the deposit and require a full deposit for the new date and new contract.
The deposit is the amount of the room rental and it is due with your signed contract to secure the date.
We have an in-house caterer as well as a list of preferred caterers that you can hire.
Yes, there is a limited kitchen available with a sink, prep tables, small refrigerator, and ice machine. The caterer and you will be responsible for clean up.
Yes, we do offer a tasting after you have secured our catering services. There is not cost associated with the tasting.
Yes, you can bring a cake from an outside baker.
If you are using our catering service, cake cutting is complimentary.
You cannot. It is against the law and our liquor license for you to bring in alcohol. We have a nice selection to choose from.
Yes, you are welcome to bring in your own décor or hire someone. You are responsible for placing it and taking it down. We allow flame, but it must be enclosed.
Yes, you can hire your own vendors. We do have a preferred vendor list that we will share once you secure our venue.
Yes, the venue can accommodate both.
Yes, we require security for every event.
They can start set up at 10am, day of event.
Yes, the bar area, all-season patio and outdoor patio.
