About this venue

From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and (personal information protected by Zola) doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

    We recently had our wedding at The Armory and could not be happier! From beginning to end Megan made the entire process easy and helped us stay on track in the midst of our busy schedules over the past 6-12 months. And on wedding day she was there every step of the way keeping things going and on schedule. The venue, food, bar, all top notch and nothing short of amazing. Can't recommend The Armory, Megan, and Navarre enough!

    Megan was amazing to work with and the staff was so attentive and helpful! We could not have pulled off our wedding without their help. As a wedding coordinator, you want a venue that pays attention to every detail and treats everything with importance. The staff here is welcoming and will bend over backwards to make your day perfect. The venue is stunning and the food was the best salmon and lamb we have ever had!
