Using our cameras, we get to record your love story for you and your family to share with future generations. How cool is that? As a wedding photographer in New York City, Tom has captured over 100 weddings! Together, we love to celebrate with you and your friends on one of the most exciting days of your lives. It brings us such joy to capture your wedding in an artistic way, not only telling your wedding story, but also making sure to bring warmth and friendliness (and a few laughs!) to the day.

Awarded Best of Zola
It’s taken us practically a year to write this review because it’s been so difficult to put into words just how amazing Tom Schelling is. Something someone told us before we got married was that the only thing you have from your wedding day are the pictures you’ve taken. Of course, the spouse and the memories, but the pictures are the only tangible thing you keep with you to look back on. So, when we started the process to find a photographer, it was very important to us that we found someone we were comfortable around, someone who truly felt like a friend- and that’s exactly how we felt (and still feel) about Tom and his wife Heather Schelling, whom we hired as videographer. Throughout the entire process, from signing the contracts, to shooting our engagement shoot on the opposite side of the country, to our wedding day, Tom and Heather have been there for us every step of the way. Tom has been so organized and communicative throughout the entire process and just so thoughtful in everything he does, from mailing us his wedding guide (super helpful) to the beautiful prints he sent once he completed editing. Like a lot of weddings, ours had some tough family dynamics to contend with. Tom handled the situation and everyone involved with such grace and professionalism, that we hardly noticed or felt any of the tension we expected, allowing our wedding day to flow that much more smoothly. On that same note, Tom was able to make any changes in schedule on the day of feel nonexistent as far as getting the photos done. All the scheduling, conversations, organization, planning, and worrying aside, the main part of the job, the photos themselves, was unmatched. We are continually so impressed with the quality of Tom’s work, and would recommend him over and over again.

Wedding Pros exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding day. From our very first consultation, their team was professional, organized, and genuinely excited about bringing our vision to life. They took the time to understand what mattered most to us and offered helpful guidance on timelines, lighting, and photo opportunities we hadn’t even considered. On the wedding day, they were calm, confident, and completely in control — which made us feel relaxed right away. They captured every important moment without ever feeling intrusive. Some of our favorite photos are the candid ones: the quiet smiles before the ceremony, the laughter during speeches, and the pure joy on the dance floor. They have a true talent for finding those natural, emotional moments that make the day feel real. The quality of the photos is absolutely stunning. The colors are rich and true to life, the lighting is beautiful, and every image feels timeless rather than trendy. Our family and friends haven’t stopped complimenting the gallery. The turnaround time was impressive, and everything was delivered exactly as promised. What really sets Wedding Pros apart is their professionalism and passion. You can tell they genuinely care about their couples and take pride in their work. They coordinated seamlessly with our planner and other vendors, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a team that combines experience, artistry, and reliability, Wedding Pros is the one to trust. We are so grateful they were part of our day and will treasure these memories forever.

To brides or grooms reading this: I hope you are prepared to laugh nonstop, while also always feeling heard. Whether you're newly engaged or in the final stages of planning, I'd love to hear about your vision, and have a blast making it a reality for you.

Johnny and Alegre from So Behold This Inc. were the best choice I made on my wedding day.. second only to choosing my husband. We were initially not going to hire a professional photographer, but I can’t tell you how glad I am that we did. From the moment we first spoke, Johnny’s fun, laid back style put me at ease. They both made the trip to our home to shoot our engagement photos and made it an easy and super enjoyable experience (despite our anxiety about being in front of a camera!). We clicked with them instantly! Johnny kept the lines of communication open in the months leading up to our big day and I loved seeing all the other events he was shooting. On the day of our wedding, Johnny and Alegre were the best hype duo; playing my favorite band to calm my nerves as I was getting ready, assuring me that I was allowed to run a bit late, making sure my husband and I always had what we needed, helping to bustle (and fix!) my dress, and being our calm amongst the chaos. They allowed us to have those quiet moments together which gave us a chance to pause and truly be present with each other. Their attention to detail ensured our wedding day was captured in absolute perfection. Speaking of absolute perfection… let’s get to the photos. For months I stared at Pinterest inspo photos and sent a bunch of my favorites to Johnny. When I opened the sneak peaks that we received the night of the wedding, they were nothing like the Pinterest photos I had sent.. they COMPLETELY blew those photos out of the water. I truly have never seen such incredible photos and still cannot believe that they’re ours. They are the perfect moody, romantic, dreamy photos that I never thought I’d be lucky enough to star in. They are beyond STUNNING. I still scroll through them daily and take every chance I get to immediately shove them in the face of every single unsuspecting person I interact with. We are over the moon with the final photos and could not recommend So Behold This Inc. more highly!

Steven Rosen Photography
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Corona, NY

I have been a photographer for the last 20 years, shooting weddings, elopements and portraits. I'm proud to have shot more than 150 same-sex weddings, which is probably more than, well, just about anyone. That said, I’ve worked with as many straight couples as LGBTQ ones. I don't discriminate. There are many other photographers whose work inspire me, but my primary inspiration comes from painters. Rembrandt, Vermeer, Sargent, to name a few.

Awarded Best of Zola
Having an LGBTQIA friendly wedding photographer was really important to us. Steven was the perfect choice. He was incredibly responsive, went above and beyond with answering our questions as we reviewed photographer options, did an incredible job day of navigating challenging weather, and delivered our final photos before we could even get back from our honeymoon. I would highly recommend him to any LGBTQIA couple getting married in the NYC metro area and/or anyone getting married in Central Park given his extensive experience photographing in the park.

Hi! My name is Madison, but you can call me Maddi. Raised in Maryland, I've lived in Colorado, South Dakota, and Germany. I now live in San Diego with my husband and our two dogs. I've always had a love for photography and I feel privileged to bring my passion to life. I want my photos to capture the genuine feeling of the moment and to reflect you and your story.

Awarded Best of Zola
Madison's not just someone with a camera and capability, she's a photographer with a natural good eye as well. We appreciated her clean subject alignments/angles and more true-to-color editing and were very impressed by the pictures we got back from reception, where we had pretty complex indoor lighting: A whole wall of windows behind us most of the time and then dark brown ballroom lighting into the evening (@Loews Hotel). Not to mention, we asked her to minimize using flash as a personal preference and she was so receptive and remembering of that too. Communicating with her was like talking to a friend. She was responsive, engaged, and inclusive. Could go on and on, but her images speak for themselves because she is consistent both in her photography style as well as personality!

Can't recommend Lindsay and Nathan enough! From start to finish they have been wonderful. They are so sweet and fun to be around. I am so happy we found them. Lindsay made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Our engagement and wedding photos came out so stunning. Lindsay always answered my questions right away and helped me put together the perfect timeline. The day ran so seamlessly. We had all of our engagement photos back within a week. For the wedding, we had sneak peeks the next day, and our highlight video, full length video, and full wedding album all completed within one month of the wedding. We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

Hey! I'm Jess, the owner of the company that's named after me - shocking, right? I'm from the suburbs of Philly but now live up in the mountains of Northeast PA in Montrose, right on the border of Central NY. I'm married to a woodworker (who HAD to be the inspiration behind Ron Swanson because they're the same human), we live on 25 acres with three huge dogs (2 Golden Retrievers and one Great Pyrenees) and three ducks - and I'm constantly begging for more animals. I'm outgoing, sarcastic & humorous, and I love organization/cleaning, sushi, reading, The Office, and traveling everywhere I can.

Jenny Flora Photography
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
  • Fine art style
  • Serves Corona, NY

Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.

Jenny is an absolute gem! We are so happy we found her to photograph our modern beach wedding at The Wave in Long Branch, NJ. Jenny has an amazing eye and took advantage of all the beautiful aspects of the venue allowing for a great variety of photos. And a good mix of candid and posed shots. It was so apparent that takes such pride in her work and loves the art, making us feel so comfortable and calm the entire time. Both my husband and I are camera shy but Jenny gave us clear direction and took into consideration everything we were and weren’t looking for. Jenny and Camilla were also extremely flexible and supportive the entire day. We can’t thank them enough for their enthusiasm and dedication. It’s so apparent in their work. Thank you, Chris & Danielle

If we could, we’d give him an infinite amount of stars because he deserves it! For starters, when my now husband and I were looking for a photographer, we were looking for someone who would capture our vision. Something outside of the ordinary and completely non-traditional. We stumbled upon his website and work. Boy, Oh boy! I was left speechless. Each piece I saw of Zorz just told a story! A story of love, definition, purpose, and, most of all, happiness. They were vibrant yet moody. Exactly down my alley. I instantly told my husband... “He’s the guy!!’ So we booked him INSTANTLY! Fast-forward to the first photo shoot. To give you an idea of what I wanted, I wanted to capture a nontraditional engagement photoshoot that steered away from the typical wedding photos. We opted to trash the dress. (Full disclosure: to me, traditional weddings are overrated, and the prices of wedding dresses are a scam.) So I thought, "Let's get creative! Let’s trash the dress like a beautiful, vibrant disaster." We told Zorz, and he was FULLY on board. He understood the assignment and absolutely delivered it! (Please see attached photos) Forward further: Wedding day photos. -Breathe, MF taking!!!! (Excuse the profanity, but really captivating) I know when couples look back on their wedding day photos they become emotional. When I tell you it’s been a year later, and every photo Zorz took still makes me feel like the first time I saw them… Warm and filled with happy tears. He knows how to capture the moment as is- the true definition of “A picture is worth a thousand words” The man, the legend… Zorz: He was great to work with. He was patient, kind, respectful, and funny. He made us feel comfortable in our own skin and knew how to handle the stresses of the big day. Words are not enough to express how much we (I especially) appreciate the work he does. 1000/10 Don’t hesitate, book him!! I promise you, he will not disappoint!!

Tess and Julia Weddings
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)

Our names are Tess Mayer & Julia Wang and we are photography duo based in NYC. We met our freshman year at NYU Tisch and since then have run a magazine together, worked as teaching assistants at ICP & NYU, and shot our first wedding our senior year. Our style is a blend of candid documentary and stylized portraiture - we approach your day not as strangers following you around, but as excited guests (who happen to be carrying around cameras and massive lenses) who will most likely cry during your vows. We love small, intimate and relaxed weddings.

Awarded Best of Zola
We absolutely LOVE the photos taken by Tess and Julia for our August wedding in Brooklyn. We knew Tess would capture the day from the moment she shared some of her prior work with us. She was communicative and easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, she and Julia arrived on time and ready to go! Tess was thoughtful and creative with the variety of pictures she took, and brought the venue and the entire wedding to life through our photos. She made us feel like naturals, and we love that everything felt loose and fun. We had a great time taking pictures with Tess and Julia beforehand, they captured all of the family pictures we asked for, and then they took the night into their own hands. The candid photos of the night are some of the ones we most cherish. We love reliving the night through these pictures. Highly recommend!!

I’ve spent years refining an approach that allows me to sincerely honor the moment — knowing when to step in and adjust a subject or environment, and sensing when to stand back and allow a moment to just be. With me, your photographs will be an intentional representation of this time of your life — imagery that will make you feel like it was just yesterday, and yet, feel forever untouched by time. Truly, the honor is all mine. Thank you for considering me to document this luxuriously intimate wedding event.

April and Mike were the first vendors we booked and they have been incredible to work with since day one. They truly make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and are able to capture the in between moments with your spouse! I wouldn’t want anyone else there for these big moments! If you are on the fence, just talk to them and you’ll walk away knowing you are about to make the right decision by booking them. All of our wedding photos are perfect and show the love of that day! None of our photos feel scripted or forced, but just like us. They are the easiest yes you’ll make in this planning process!!

Daniel was soooo kind and thoughtful in the planning process. He met us the day before for our rehearsal dinner/vow exchange and we got these stunning photos by the lake. I’m so awkward in front of a camera but he managed give clear queues to relax us and got adventurous with some shots. On the day of our wedding, he navigated the many moving parts really well, captured the ceremony perfectly, and got great shots during the party. The sneak peek photos were great and I’m grateful he could turn them around so quickly. Overall, a great experience, a delight to work with. He’s got great packages and would hire him again!

Passionate about storytelling and as a wedding photographer with a deep love for capturing love stories in their most authentic and beautiful moments. Moments happen in front of me and I make a split decision on how valuable those moments will be over time. The second I click the camera is when I confirm it was glittering gold. I look for that gold all day, constantly seeking out what is valuable. As a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a wife, I know the feeling of being in a moment, seeing something happen that is seemingly mundane, but then realizing years later just how grateful I am that I actually took out my camera and documented that memory.

Working with Lindsay for our wedding was an absolute dream. From the moment she arrived, she made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment of the day. Her creativity and incredible eye for detail brought out the best in every shot, capturing not just the moments but the emotions behind them. Lindsay’s energy and charisma made the whole experience so much fun—whether she had us running through vineyards or sharing a quiet glance, she made every moment feel authentic and effortless. She truly captured the essence of who we are, and the photos are a perfect reflection of our personalities and the joy of the day. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Before hiring a wedding photographer, we were a bit hesitant—I’ve always been the one behind the camera, so being in front of it felt unnatural. My husband also isn’t a big fan of photos and was convinced he wouldn’t look good in them. But from the very beginning, Violet made everything so easy! Communication with her throughout the entire process was seamless. She was always responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in getting to know us. We especially loved that she used the engagement session to connect with us, which made the wedding day so much less stressful and so much more fun! We felt completely at ease, and it truly showed in the photos. Not only did we love our experience, but our bridesmaids and groomsmen also had amazing things to say about working with Violet! She made everyone feel comfortable and captured such natural, beautiful moments. And the best part? My mom said this is the most beautiful she’s ever seen herself! That alone speaks volumes about Violet’s talent and ability to make everyone feel their absolute best. If you’re looking for a photographer who makes the process stress-free, enjoyable, and delivers breathtaking photos, look no further. Thank you, Violet, for capturing memories we’ll cherish forever!

Hi, I’m Yosaidy your hype woman, storyteller, and third wheel with a camera. I’m a Venezuelan photographer and graphic designer, currently based in New York (but always down to travel). I’ve been in the U.S. since 2016, but I actually started shooting weddings back in Venezuela when I was just 18. Since then, photography has taken me on the wildest ride meeting people from all over the world, learning about different cultures, and capturing the kind of moments you never forget.

We cannot recommend Yosaidy Photography enough. She went above and beyond in every way and made our wedding day run so smoothly. Our photos are breathtaking, full of light, emotion, and love. So many people have complimented our gallery and asked who our photographer was. If you’re considering booking her DO IT. You won’t regret it.

I photograph love because I believe in it. I don’t believe in it in the way that a little girl believes in ferries or unicorns, a hopeful “I think it is real” kind of a belief, I believe in its power. I believe that love is the most important emotion we will feel in this lifetime and I believe it has the greatest ability for good. I believe that each human on this earth should have the opportunity to feel deeply loved and to love another deeply themselves. I believe that love is something that should be treasured, cared for, and celebrated.

Two friends of ours used Allison at their wedding, and couldn't stop raving. When we saw the pictures - it was easy to see why. When our turn came, Allison was our first call, and somehow, she was even better than our (already high) expectations. From the initial meetings that just made us feel so at ease and comfortable, through the prep process, everything was just...easy. Even the engagement photos/"love story session" we weren't sure if we wanted...but it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the process and a much needed night in the slog of wedding planning - and it's because Allison made it so special. When the big day came, Allison was again perfect...she kept things fun, moving and well-planned...even through the never-ending family photos, it never seemed like a drag. When we got the pictures...just wow. Our friends described Allison as "capturing peoples' true selves" and that's exactly what she does. Every time we look at the pictures, we're taken right back to the happiest day of our lives, and can feel all the same warm fuzzy feelings we did then from being surrounded with all our friends and family. We're so glad we have these to help us return to those moments whenever we need a little pick-me-up, and we can't imagine anyone besides Allison to have been there to capture them.

I’m Kelvin Garcia, the creative mind behind Kelvin G Photo. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until I picked up my first camera that I truly fell in love with the art of capturing light and shadows. There’s something magical about seeing how light transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary, and that’s what I aim to bring to every session I photograph.

Kelvin G. Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the very first interaction, Kelvin demonstrated a professional and personable communication style that put us at ease. He was incredibly organized, walking us through his process and the timeline for the day. The quality of Kelvin's work is simply stunning - his attention to detail, romantic style, and ability to tell a story through his photos exceeded our expectations. Kelvin replicated all the photos I wanted based on the inspo I shared, and he was super helpful by showing me visual options of his editing work so I could get a better idea of the gallery he'd be delivering. Kelvin is a true professional at capturing timeless moments, and his quick turnaround time was unmatched. The photos and posing felt natural and authentic, exactly what we were looking for to remember our special day.

Allen Tsai founded his namesake photography business in 2011, turning his passion for the art of photography and documenting poignant memories into a business. While he is based in Dallas, TX, he has covered destination weddings all over the world including Mexico, Caribbeans, Europe, and Asia. He brings a warm personality and professional spirit to his work with an airy, romantic, and dreamy aesthetic. If you’re looking for a rare balance of technical, aesthetic, and emotional skills in a photographer, you will find it in Tsai.

We are fortunate to have worked with Allen enough times to confidently recommend him as a fine art photographer (and a travel companion!). Our sessions span the entire globe; from our wedding in Los Cabos to the Sahara Desert! There is a certain essence and characteristic about Allen's work that kept us returning to his website and social media accounts. Before we knew it, Allen's portfolio ultimately became what we referenced other portfolios to which made him the obvious choice. And we can confidently say his portfolio reflects his true work. Our photos were nothing short of the quality he exemplifies across social media. Technical skills: In the business of fine art photography, we believe it is important to state that Allen is FILM PHOTOGRAPHER before he is a digital photographer. The reason we emphasize this is because we have used other "film photographers" who rely heavily on results from their digital camera and thus delivering an album high in digital shots. The albums we receive from Allen taught us to truly appreciate film photography. Allen's work has an essence of airiness. He is a master in working with light and shots are always in focus. He produces reliable and consistent results with a predictable high success rate (difficult for film photography). Other film photographers shoot a high number of shots with low yield results. Allen's style is tasteful and he pays great attention to detail. Allen also has a great relationship with the lab he uses to develop the pictures which is often overlooked. It seems like the lab has a deep understanding of Allen's aesthetics which translates well in his final product. As a wedding photographer: Allen's work ethics and level of care was much appreciated during the stressful process of planning a wedding. All of our wedding vendors mentioned how Allen is a team player and is someone they could rely on. We were confident in Allen's skills and level of work after he shot our engagement photos as part of the wedding package we booked. Not having to constantly worry about one of the most important parts of our wedding is priceless. Allen is professional, always on time, and makes sure we get caught up if we run behind on schedule. He was able to overcome unexpected obstacles and dealt with incorporative family members. Allen effectively communicated our vision to the other vendors. He is an excellent listener and fulfills all of our wants and needs. For couples looking to tie the knot locally, Allen is very familiar with all the top Dallas locations and perfect lighting depending on the time of day. People know him and are willing to take you more seriously as a client if they know you are working with him. Ultimately, all we need to say is we cannot book any other photographer. Much like his portfolio, the experience of having Allen as our photographer is the gold standard to which we compare other photographers to. It is always reassuring when pictures of our special day is still being shared and featured on social media two years later. Allen's work is truly timeless and the album service he offers does his pictures justice! We loved the array of options and how the finished product turned out.

Hello! I am a digital + film photographer based out of Brooklyn and am ready to shoot your wedding! I was introduced to photography via my grandpa's film camera over 10 years ago and have been in love with it since. Starting out as a street photographer, I've come to cover full weddings, city hall ceremonies, engagement shoots, and more. I have a passion for capturing special moments with an intimate feel. If that's something you're looking for, I am your photographer!

It was such a gift to work with Benjamin Harrison for our wedding, he is a very, very talented photographer and we were in the best of hands with him ! The photos he took are absolutely gorgeous, the perfect patchwork combination of dreamy film and sunshine digital takes. Ben was very natural and discreet, thoughtfully capturing the big moments of the day without interrupting the procession or curating our stances artificially. Several photos are captured at such creative angles, presenting the most intimate, special shots. He had the best eye for the little moments that unrolled throughout the day, especially of grandparents laughing, of the children playing, of our friends dancing the night away, of my husband stealing little looks at my dress during the vows. Ben's photos, full of sunlight and hidden sweetness, are how I want to remember the wedding, they hold all the joy of what it felt like to live it
