“Where can I even begin? Alex wasn’t just our dj, he pretty much helped us create a timeline for our entire day. He was our host, support system and truly helped us throw the best celebration. Our guests LOVED him they are still talking about how awesome our DJ was. For months, we jumped on calls to perfect the experience we wanted and Alex was so incredibly supportive the entire time. A week before our wedding we had to change our wedding and he was one of the first people we called. Within minutes he had lists of places to call. When we figured out a new venue he did everything he could to become familiar with the new space and the owner. We arrived to the reception with our vendors all knowing eachother like they were friends all along - it was so unified like one family coming together. Paul and Kris met in 1989 while playing in an orchestra in Wheaton, IL. They started the Brass String Chamber Ensemble in 1990 which quickly became very popular throughout Chicago and the suburbs. They have played over 2000 weddings and special events and have thousands of titles in their combined music library. The BSCE enjoys playing for ceremonies but also cocktail hour and during dinner. They are familiar with all traditional church ceremonies and also happy to play in banquet halls, country clubs, hotels, or even at a lovely home celebration. They are based in Naperville but travel throughout Chicago and the suburbs.

“We booked Groove is in the heart & DJ Clare for our wedding. We had a wide range of music tastes and weren’t sure how it would all come together but Clare handled it effortlessly. She read the room, kept the energy going, and made sure every moment had the perfect soundtrack. From the pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, to the dance floor, everything flowed beautifully. We didn’t have to worry about a thing Clare had it all under control and kept the party going. She covered everything from oldies and Suavemente to Blink-182 and somehow made it all feel cohesive and fun. One moment that really stood out was when we asked to include a specific meaningful slow song that was used as the first dance at my husband’s brother’s wedding. Clare was completely receptive and even offered to call them out before playing it, turning it into a sweet and memorable moment for everyone. Thank you Clare!!!”

“I'm not kidding. Stop looking for DJs, photo booths, etc. and just book Team Wedding Day. If they're not available or already booked, well then move your wedding. Yes you're looking to book a DJ, but what you don't realize you need is mics for the ceremony, lighting, an emcee who won't make your wedding cheesy, and more. Niko was so amazing to work with leading up to the event and includes so many things in one big package that it's so nice to just check things off in one swoop. Team Wedding Day had us covered back to front. Niko is so nice and kind on the phone, so when he started mixing sick-nasty beats during the dance party, I was like "OMG who is this guy!" He fit our vibe perfectly, followed our play/don't play list, and emceed our wedding like a true pro. Niko listens, but pushes back when he thinks something would work better from his experience and it was so nice to work with him. During the cocktail hour and diner, he was always keeping tabs with us, making sure we stayed on schedule, asking if we needed anything, etc. and it gave us so much confidence that things were running smoothly. Everyone at our wedding commented on how fun the dance floor was and it was 100% Niko. The photo booth was SUPER nice, much better than any I've ever used or seen before. And at the end of the night, they gave us a little album of every photo strip everyone had taken which was super unexpected but such a great surprise! All in all, one of the best vendors and decisions we made when planning our wedding. Can't recommend Niko and his team enough.”

“Just to preface - I take wedding dance floors extremely seriously. I think it is make or break for the reception. My fiancé and I were trying to keep costs as low as we could and had our eyes on a few other DJ’s that were within our price range and had been good at other weddings until I stumbled on DJ One Chance. I knew from the second I saw his Instagram that I needed to have him at our wedding. His energy, charisma, and ability to read the room is incredible. He was a bit out of our original price range (which was very low to begin with, keep in mind) and I can absolutely tell you that he is worth every single penny. Every planning meeting we had with him got us more and more excited to have him with us on the day of. He listened to the vibe and energy we were going for and could not have done a better job. My parents were blown away that for a bit of a tight dance floor and 200 guests, the dance floor was PACKED from 8:30 - Midnight. Some quotes we received from friends were “I haven’t danced that much at a wedding in a long time” - Rick, 59 years old and “Your DJ was insane. He knew which songs were hits with the crowd and kept the energy going” - MK, 30. He was a hit with every age group and we are forever indebted him for creating the dance floor of our dreams. I have never seen so many people compliment a wedding DJ or a dance floor so passionately. DJ One Chance worked with us seamlessly to make sure we were able to have the best day ever. He even let us request one more last song after the “last song” that we picked ourselves didn’t hit as hard as we wanted. If you want the best dance floor experience for your wedding - this is your guy. Could not recommend any more.”
