“I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

“We cannot say enough great things about booking The Lone Rangers with Sam Hill Entertainment. Booking them for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! From the very first song to the last, they kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. Nearly every guest was on the dance floor at one point during the night, and they truly kept the party going. My new father-in-law was, and is still, talking about how amazing the band was. They completely brought the reception to life. Leading up to the wedding, the band leader, Nate, was incredibly communicative and easy to work with, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, they were phenomenal across the board. The piano music during our ceremony was beautiful and set the perfect tone, and they did an excellent job MC-ing the reception. One of our favorite moments was how engaged the female singer was with the crowd. She brought so much fun energy and made a point to involve many of the kids and teenagers throughout the night, which was such a hit and made everyone feel included. It added an extra layer of joy and made the celebration even more memorable. After inquiring about their recommendation for a DJ that knew how to throw an amazing dance party, we were given TD’s information. From the detailed pre-wedding questionnaire and phone conversations to the day of our wedding, T.D. was very professional, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. We also used T.D. for our ceremony amplification. We are happy to report that we did not have any microphone malfunctions! Most importantly, the reception was truly a party from the time we were introduced until the time we made our escape. From the lighted monogram initials, choreographed dances, and a variety of music, he made sure we had everything we asked for. T.D. kept us to our timeline and kept the guests aware of the happenings around the venue. Leading up to the wedding, Dwight was great and caught onto the vibe we were going for quickly. On the day of, he handled everything with such grace from the power briefly going out mid-reception to slightly audible music from the wedding across the street. “Epic Sounds was an amazing addition to our wedding! From the beginning Lance was very attentive to our needs and our ideas. He was very flexible with our late add ons (if you’re on the fence about the photo booth definitely get it!!!!!) He provided professional sound and service throughout our entire wedding. Everyone who needed a mic had one set up with ease. He was able to do separate music for us in a different part of the venue for guests who did not want to be around louder music or lights. He was also ready to help with any task that was thrown his way! When I was dead set on a short clip I had seen online and had the idea to mix it with a different song, he was able to achieve my vision and took feedback when I wanted to tweak small things! One of our favorite parts was his ability to mix all night. We did not want a DJ to just press play on a preset playlist and go about their evening. Lance was on top of it the entire time and there was no lull in music or in energy on the dance floor. We requested that there were no slow songs and each song did not play all the way through. It gave him the ability to spin and gave him autonomy to read the dance floor and play whatever fitted the vibe. He made it very easy to make requests for what to play (or not play!) ahead of time and it saved us time and stress the day of. Lance helped our wedding vision come to life – if you want a party on your dance floor, he is your guy!!!”

“Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“Oh where to begin?! I met Brandon and Kellie during the April 2024 Richmond Bridal Expo. I was just going around signing up for all the give aways and drawings while collecting information. The day after the show, I received an email from DJ Signature saying I won their 2nd place prize and to schedule a meeting. My Fiancé and I set up a meeting via zoom and let the fun begin! We both instantly felt a connection with Brandon and he 100% understood the vibe we were going for. He took the time to go through all the packages and customized our perfect plan. I didn’t need some of the things the package offered so I opted to add in Signature Details (welcome to the party Kellie!) and have access to a wedding coordinator. Kellie joined our zoom call and it was like 4 friends just catching up and having a good time. Once we were done with the zoom, they emailed over everything we discussed along with a contract. We were signed, sealed, delivered within an hour of ending our call. Brandon is very proactive in asking for lists of music you do and don’t want during your ceremony. He also helped me when I was struggling to add certain genres I knew I didn’t want during the reception, and we created a dinner playlist with those songs so everyone was included. The day of the wedding Brandon and his assistants showed up ready to get to work. When I say everything was PERFECT I mean it! The music flowed beautifully and there was no awkward pauses in transitions. It was a special moment for my husband and I too, after pictures we got the chance to talk with Brandon. You could feel the love and support with everything he said and it was an honor to have him with us. Part of the package we did was a cold spark exit. I wasn’t sold on it when we originally talked about it but as we went on I was like ok it’ll be cool. My advice, DO THE COLD SPARKS!!!!!! I’m so glad they convinced me because it was honestly my favorite part of the night. Brandon had to leave after this part of our evening as he had another wedding to do fireworks at and his assistant took over. And that’s when the party started! I wanted it to feel like an early 2000’s-2010’s club vibe full of dancing and fun. They NAILED the mark on it too! Everyone had an absolute blast and I legit felt it for the next few days. “Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. It felt like he'd known for years, always hitting the right classic hit, the right remix, the right memory moments. He was such a kind and lovely man too. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat!”

On the day of, Tim the DJ did a phenomenal job keeping the party going and on schedule. His sense of humor was great and he did an excellent job of informing guests about upcoming events and where to go. The lighting they provided was perfect, and the DJ setup looked professional. Tim played all the songs we requested as well as taking requests from our guests throughout the night. “We had an absolutely amazing experience with David Floyd, “DJ Squirrel,” from Horizon Harbor Events for our wedding! From the moment we started working with David, he was professional, friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding reception everything we hoped it would be. David did an incredible job keeping the energy and excitement going throughout the entire celebration. The music selection was fantastic, and he did a wonderful job reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play to keep everyone entertained and on the dance floor. From our special songs and meaningful moments to the high-energy dancing later in the evening, everything flowed perfectly. One of the things we appreciated most was how easy David was to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but having a DJ who was organized, dependable, and attentive to our requests gave us one less thing to worry about. He listened to what we wanted, incorporated our preferences, and brought his own experience and personality to make the reception feel fun and memorable. I wanted to surprise my mother with a dance and little script to ask her on the dance floor. I asked DJ Squirrel to read the script for me as I knew I wouldn’t make it through. He was very willing to do what I asked but offered a more personal touch!! He gave me the option to record myself saying the script and he blended it into the beginning music of the song! My mom lost it!! What a personal touch and such a thoughtful suggestion! The sound quality and overall presentation were excellent, and David worked seamlessly with the other vendors to help everything stay on schedule. He helped create the perfect atmosphere for every part of the reception, from the special moments to the celebration with family and friends. Our guests had such a great time and had so many positive things to say about the music and entertainment. The dance floor was full, the energy was incredible, and we made so many wonderful memories that we will cherish for years to come. Not only did we use his DJ services, we used his uplighting which made our whole reception space a party vibe, Photo Booth that was personalized with our names and even wedding flowers on the photo strip, and audio guest book to cherish for so many years to come!
