“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than City Winery Hudson Valley! We chose the intimate package for our wedding and got married on 10.12.2024. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our special day. The breathtaking views and stunning industrial architecture provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about! I have to be honest, it did not start off with the best communication from the original person in charge of my wedding at the venue. I’m not sure if she didn’t know what she was doing or just didn’t care. Thankfully it was transferred into someone else’s care. Once Colleen and Kim took over the communication and planning, the staff at City Winery Hudson Valley were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from these two women and their team made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like royalty on our special day! The reception space was elegantly decorated, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. Our guests loved the unique layout and how everything felt both intimate and grand at the same time. Moreover, the catering provided by City Winery Hudson Valley was phenomenal! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food and impeccable service. The menu options were diverse and customizable, allowing us to create a dining experience that perfectly reflected our tastes. Finally, the location itself is a hidden gem. The picturesque surroundings allowed for stunning photo opportunities, and we were able to capture memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re searching for a wedding venue that combines beauty, elegance, and unparalleled service, look no further than City Winery Hudson Valley. We are so grateful for the incredible memories we created there and wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking to tie the knot!”

“If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! Our son and daughter-in-law couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue to begin their lives together. From our very first meeting with Lauren and James to the last dance of the evening, everything was simply perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire day feel effortless. Every member of the staff went above and beyond, allowing our family to relax and truly enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about the wedding—especially the food! We've heard countless compliments, including, "That was the best steak I've ever had at a wedding!" The food and service were exceptional. Lauren and James don't just host weddings—they create unforgettable memories. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our family's day so magical. We will treasure those memories forever and wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate.”

“We got married at Bad Seed in June 2024. It was the first venue we toured and we knew it was perfect right away. Devin, Albert, Brandon, and the rest of the Bad Seed team are so down to earth and communicative. They gave us great advice about how to make our wedding day amazing. We wanted to DIY our decor and music, bring in our own food vendor, and have a casual garden party vibe. Bad Seed was super flexible, letting us choose whichever vendors we wanted and giving us tips for great service providers in the area. Because they only do one wedding per weekend, we had the entire day before the wedding to set up (which we needed!) as well as the entire morning/afternoon before the big event. There was always someone at the venue to help with whatever we needed, even going above and beyond to help us lay out the tables and set up decor. We wanted an indoor/outdoor wedding. Unfortunately, mother nature had other plans with a heat wave and thunderstorm moving through the area. On the bright side, Devin and the Bad Seed crew made sure we could do the whole event inside -- even going out to buy a big industrial fan to make sure the taproom stayed cool (we didn't end up needing it, the AC did its job!). Bad Seed is also SO reasonably priced compared to other wedding venues in the area. There was no nickel and diming or hidden fees - just an honest price and a great value. During the actual event, the bar staff went above and beyond to take care of us, checking in on us throughout the night and bringing us drinks so we didn't have to wait at the bar. It really made us feel like a million bucks. Oh, and our guests were raving about the cider :) If you're looking for an awesome, picturesque wedding venue in the Hudson Valley, Bad Seed should be your top choice.”

“If anyone were to ask me what my favorite part of my wedding was I’d have to say “Black Walnut Farm!” What a remarkable experience it has been to work with Sarah, Jim, Lish, Lindsey, and of course, Miss Lilly! My partner and I didn’t even bother viewing another venue because we could instantly feel how special the BWF property was — we called 30 minutes after our tour and said we were ready for the contract and deposit. Even still Black Walnut Farm far exceeded our expectations! Everything about this venue is so thoughtfully curated and managed. There is just so much care and consideration that has gone into every inch of this very special place! My partner and I decided to have a “honeymoon” week during the week of the wedding; we chose to have the extended package where we stayed on the property just the two of us. Unwinding in front of the fireplace while playing chess and drinking wine was such a lovely way to relax the night before. The sunroom is the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding! After our wedding (in lieu of an after party) we just asked to have the hot tub ready for us, which was the best move ever! Most importantly, the BWF team were so kind and patient, cool and collected. In the face of some extreme family drama and chaotic spring weather they always rolled with the punches. I felt that I could trust them fully and always felt safe and cared for. I was not afraid to defer to their expertise in the midst of the chaos, and I do not regret any of those decisions! In fact, the backup rain plan ended up being better than the original plan! Thank you again, Black Walnut Farm. You have created something so very, very special and we will be eternally grateful!”

“The Bird and Bottle Inn was the perfect fairytale setting for our wedding. From the beginning, there were many emails back and forth to get all the details just right, but the staff was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire planning process. But they really shined the day of the wedding. The set-up and ceremony went so smoothly, they made sure everything was taken care of. Even last minute timeline switches like cutting the cake earlier in the night was made easy. We also were able to stay at the inn and get ready there which made things much easier on us. They had our signature drinks, champagne, and food ready and waiting for all the guests as soon as the ceremony was over. I have been to weddings where the entire cocktail hour we were just waiting on line to get a drink, this was perfectly set up. Drinks were also being continually poured and served at an inside and an outside bar, and if you couldn’t make it to the bar there was always a server nearby to help. There was even one server who was assigned just to us, he went above and beyond, always made sure we had anything we needed, always getting us drinks or more food, it was wonderful. And the food… the food was simply amazing - usually wedding food can be boring, or like it was just mass produced and pumped out of the kitchen, but their food was perfect. I am still thinking about the short rib and our guests are still raving about it over a month later. Literally one guest saying it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. And the space is so beautiful, there are so many lovely place for photos, and really makes it seem like you are in an enchanted place. The bridge over the little babbling brook for a first look, the garden ceremony by the pond, the cocktail hour on the patio, are just to name a few of the perfect spots on the property. And having our Photo Booth inside on the velvet couch was a unique touch guests really enjoyed! Not to mention getting our own private cottage to stay in! We also were able to move inside to the bar after the wedding was over with just the couple guests that were staying with us at the Inn and it was a lovely way to wind down after all the festivities were over. The entire team at The Bird and Bottle Inn truly went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we dreamed it would be. We couldn't have asked for a more magical venue to celebrate our love”

“Choosing The Garrison as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. The setting is stunning, but it is the team and the service that truly set this place apart. On our wedding day, the weather didn't exactly cooperate, and we had to pivot due to rain. The team at The Garrison didn't miss a beat. They seamlessly rearranged our plans and set up a beautiful indoor ceremony that felt just as intimate, romantic, and breathtaking as we had always dreamed. Their ability to handle the change of plans so effortlessly completely took the stress off of our shoulders. Our guests are still raving about the day, and we have received countless compliments on how incredible the food was. From the cocktail hour to the main course, everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. What really blew us away, though, was how attentive the staff was to us as a couple. They supported us throughout the entire course of the day, making sure we were actually fed, hydrated, and completely taken care of at every transition. We felt so deeply supported and cared for from the moment we arrived until the last dance. If you want a venue that offers top tier hospitality, delicious cuisine, and a team that will flawlessly handle whatever the day throws at you, look no further than The Garrison!”

“We could not have asked for a more perfect ceremony venue for our wedding! Communication with Stephen was incredibly easy—he was always willing to help and went above and beyond by taking us on multiple tours, sharing the full history of the space. Coordinating a pianist for the ceremony was seamless, and they were even able to practice in the space beforehand. Our florist had no issues setting up, and everything went smoothly. Our rehearsal was excellent, with Stephen on site to offer helpful input from previous weddings. Practicing the doors with him was invaluable, especially since he was there on the wedding day to ensure everything went perfectly. On the day of the ceremony, Stephen and Linda were both on site, greeting guests and vendors, and they helped us secure a separate space for personal items. The ceremony went exactly as we rehearsed—smooth and flawless. The space itself is gorgeous, intimate, and the views of the river were absolutely stunning, especially on the perfect day we had. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and seamless experience for our wedding ceremony.”

“We recently got married in Peekskill and stayed at the Abbey and had our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and morning after brunch there. The building and the grounds are beautiful. The food was very good and they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and guests needs. The rooms were nice, spacious, and very clean. Everyone had positive things to say about the events held at the space. There are two things that bring down this review. The first is that the event/sales staff is very hard to get in touch with. We left countless voicemails and sent many emails that all went unanswered. The turnover of the staff was quite high, and we never knew who we were going to be speaking with. The second major issue was that there is only one elevator and no freight elevator. The morning of our wedding the elevator was out of service. There are only 2 stories to the hotel so that is not the issue, but the wheelchair accessible room, which a guest of ours who is in a wheelchair was given, was on the second floor. Thankfully the elevator was fixed and he was able to make it to our wedding, but in the event of an emergency, we don’t know what would have happened.”

“Le Chateau was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We genuinely did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Everything was so organized, seamless, and handled with such care that we were able to completely relax and enjoy every moment. Sara was amazing from the very beginning. She was so clear and thorough in getting us started and making sure we understood everything throughout the planning process. Tori was fantastic at keeping us on track and making sure we were completely ready to go. Then Debbie took everything over on the wedding day and made sure the entire day ran seamlessly. We truly felt like we were in the best hands. And Claudia — what can we say?! She was the BEST bridal attendant a bride and groom could ask for. She was attentive without ever being overwhelming and seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. She made us feel so taken care of throughout the entire day. The food was also absolutely phenomenal. Our guests are STILL talking about it. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and so many specifically said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. That is something we will never forget! The servers were amazing as well — attentive, friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking. Every member of the Le Chateau team contributed to making our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. Our wedding truly was the best day ever, and Le Chateau played such a huge role in making it that way. We could not recommend them more highly!”

The space felt romantic without being stuffy, and the gardens were absolutely perfect on our wedding day. We had about 70 guests and the venue was the ideal size for everyone to feel comfortable while enjoying the beautiful history of the grounds. Yes, you need to bring in all vendors, but the reasonable venue fee meant we pulled off our dream wedding for under 30K—something we never thought was possible in this area. The staff was helpful throughout the day, and we ended up with a celebration we're truly proud of. Completely recommend!!”

The romantic setting in the wine cellar with candles created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. What really stood out was how thoughtful they were about the details: they welcomed our guests with a signature drink, turned off the music during our speeches so everyone could hear us clearly, and surprised us with a special dessert at the end of the night. They also went out of their way to accommodate our gluten-free guest, making sure she felt included and cared for. The waitstaff was patient and kind throughout the evening, treating our guests like family. “I recently hosted a 50-person event at Industrial Arts and it delivered on the two most important fronts: totally easy and totally fun. The space is huge. There’s a ton of furniture options so we were able to configure the room exactly how we wanted. We had high tops and picnic tables for larger groups hangs and couches for guests that wanted a little space. It was so satisfying to see my guests have a great time - particularly because I did so little to make it happen. Heather and Nina couldn’t have made things lower maintenance. We planned the entire event over a five minute phone call and a couple of emails. You can tell they wanted to us to have a great time - they were flexible, responsive and proactive. They allowed us to bring in our own DJ and our own catering. The beer is great, the view is incredible and there’s plenty of parking. Plus, you’re 3 minutes from Main Street, so you can stumble to other bars, restaurants and hotels. A, Five Stars, First Rate… you get the idea.”

“Kirby Hill Farm is a magical experience. By far my most favorite venue to flower and the most gracious hosts to work with. There is a beauty and authenticity about the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and wide skies this gem has many perfect backdrops for gorgeous photo ops (think majestic horses grazing in the background and beautifully landscaped grounds to meander). The thoughtfully appointed farmhouse is the right size to accommodate most bridal parties and is also a stellar option for hosting intimate rehearsal dinners in front of the fireplace. The club house is loaded with character: warm wood, stone, and the original barn doors. The barn stands in contrast, industrial in feel with soaring ceilings and oversized glass doors that open up to cocktails on the pavilion overlooking the polo field below. I found tons of inspiration for my design vision right at the farm and the team there was flawless in facilitating my execution. If you love BBQ or beautifully prepared delectable food experiences you should definitely check out the farms exclusive caterer Odeens when you visit the site. Overall just sublime!”

“We had our wedding at Kindred Creeks at the beginning of May 2022. I have so many great things to say about this place! First off, Jill was extraordinary, caring, attentive and so helpful from start to finish. She was able to work within our budget while keeping our dream wedding a reality. She had rain plans, sunny day plans, plans for more or less people and was thorough throughout. Her father, Gerry, who lives in the farm came out the day before and day of the wedding to make sure we were taken care of and that anything we needed would be done. And the tent staff was kind, courteous and officiant! The grounds itself were gorgeous! We were the first to use the airstream bridal suite which got so many compliments and great photos. They also redid the bridge across the creek for the wedding party to walk over during the ceremony. I fell in love with the green barn and even though it needs to come down soon, they held off construction so we could take pictures in front of it. We got married right where the two creeks meet which was so beautiful. All our guest had nothing be great things to say and we are beyond happy with the experience. If you are thinking of taking a tour of the farm, don’t hesitate! You will fall in love just like we did!”

The view was unreal, and upkeep was so great we didn't need to spend much on floral, since the Candlewood Inn has such beautiful scenery and foliage. Krista was my coordinator and she was extremely helpful during the entire I was engaged and planning up until the day of the wedding, she is the absolute sweetest. Delilah and Brooke were my wedding helpers, not sure of the right term, and they literally helped me with every single thing on my wedding day. They made sure i had a drink in hand, that I was ok, that I ate, that my dress was on right. I truly don't know what i would have done without them, they really showed they cared about me. I am so grateful I was able to get married in the most beautiful place close to home.”
