Anna was so great in helping me throughout the process of planning our wedding photos. The first time I met her I could tell that she genuinely loves weddings and understood the editorial concept I was aiming for. We worked together on a mood board and fulfilled the style on the day of. I loved the team she brought and their dynamic together. During the group photos they were very efficient in gathering the groups in a time crunch. The pictures turned out incredible! Thank you guys so much for putting us at ease and the lovely wedding photos that will live on forever!

I cannot say enough good things about LAdigitalPhoto! When I first contacted them to inquire about videography, I got an instant response. Tom answered my millions of questions & sent me photos & videos they had shot at my venue in the past. I felt like a friend, not a customer so I was not hesitant to book. Tom did a great job of building an instant relationship & trust. We kept contact up until the day about details as they unfolded. Brides you know how planning can get the best of you & everything becomes a blur. I totally forgot about having a videographer the day of because everything was chaos until he showed up right on time, of course! We were blessed to get Christian who is an absolute gem! Him & my photographer instantly started working together & they totally clicked, it was awesome. Christian went above & beyond, not to mention he was such a sweetheart. He was an absolute joy to have around all day! He even buttoned up my dress for me because all my girls had nails on & couldn't do it. I would give 5,000 stars if I could! If I ever need videography again, I will never go to anyone else! Thank you, Tom & Christian!

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
We were nervous when it came to hiring a photographer, because after the whirlwind of the day, photos are one of the only things you get to keep once the day is over that help you relive the moments. We had heard so many horror stories and knew it was one of the most important decisions we were going to make. But thankfully, hiring Mysi was truly one of the BEST DECISIONS we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was intentional, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. She made it a priority to meet with us in person—not just to talk logistics, but to get a feel for how we interact with each other. She wanted to understand our dynamic so she could best capture authentic, candid moments on the day. That personal touch meant a lot to us. She even took the time to drive up to our venue (a private residence) in advance to scout out the space. Watching her creativity come to life as she walked through the house and surrounding areas was such a fun and reassuring moment—we knew we were in great hands. We didn’t want just traditional posed photos; we wanted a mix of candid, artistic, and emotionally rich shots that told the full story of the day. She completely delivered. The final gallery was more beautiful than we could’ve imagined—natural, warm, and full of moments we didn’t even realize she had caught. We showed a few of the preview photos to people who didn't attend the wedding, and they all had nothing but compliments for how stunning the photos were. It's only been a few months, but we can't stop looking at the photos. They bring us back to the exact moment in time they were taken and we are able to relive the memories. Literally the only negative is that we can't figure out what our favorites are because they are all that great! We’re beyond grateful and couldn’t recommend Mysi more highly. If you want a photographer who truly sees you and puts her heart into every frame, she’s the one.

Hey it’s Marijo (pronounced mary•joe), your film-loving, forever traveling photographer! Capturing your day, the way it felt, in both digital and film formats. My style is bright, vibrant, nostalgic with a mix of candids and cinematic images. I love getting to know my couples before their big day! It helps me create more personal work that reflects your love. I hope you know that your love is special, and that I can see that it is. That’s always how I’ll tell your story.

Awarded Best of Zola
We worked with Marijo for our wedding this past May and she was wonderful! Our pre-wedding meeting went well, she asked a lot of questions about us as a couple and about what we wanted from our wedding photos, which we really liked because it gave us an idea about what our wedding day photography would be like, but also it showed that she is detail oriented. On the day of, she made my family as well as us really comfortable. Posing for photos can be very awkward, but she kept the mood light and made us laugh a lot which made for some really great, natural pictures. We took our couple photos at Pasadena City Hall on what must have been prom day for several high schools because the place was packed, but she managed to get us some really great, intimate shots away from other people taking photos. We really love how our pictures came out and are so excited to order some prints for ourselves and family. We highly recommend AM Badillo, and loved working with Marijo! She is sweet, friendly and very good at what she does.

Marry Me Studio was an excellent choice for our wedding photography. Iman's communication was efficient, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. They show up on time and work efficiently. The quality of the work and the value provided were outstanding. The photos from our engagement session were fantastic, and we can't wait to see the wedding photos, which we know will be just as excellent. They really know what they are doing and were also open to incorporating our specific preferences. The Marry Me Studio team made sure the entire event was properly captured, and we are confident the final photos and video will beautifully preserve the memories of our special day.

Carmelisse Photography
Rating: 5.0 (17 reviews)

Hi I'm Carmelisse. I'm an intimate wedding & elopement photographer based in Los Angeles. I have a gift for making people comfortable and seeing the beauty in all diverse people. I want nothing more than to tell your love story right.

Awarded Best of Zola
Wedding Veterans will tell you that your photographer really sets the tone of your wedding. They are much more than just the person that takes pictures. They take the time to understand who you are as a couple and the story you want to tell and really how you'll look back on your wedding day for years to come. Carmelisse was that and more for us. From the moment we saw her photos from mutuals' weddings we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding. In our first meeting, it felt like talking to a long-time friend and it was an easy decision for us to put all our trust in her and her team. She was the first person we hired after our wedding planner. We actually contacted her the month after we got engaged in 2021 but her 2023 book wasn't open yet. After conversing via text and email for months, we met her for the first time during our engagement shoot and she captured us and our dogs perfectly (YES, she capture our anxiety-ridden GSD mixes with smiles and they stood still, and the doggos absolutely fell in love with her husband, THANKS REX!!) She helped us pick the area and with putting together comfortable poses. Her turnaround time was so reasonable, the photos are just plain awesome. I have a hard time putting into words how great they are but I literally tear up with happiness every time I look through my album (which I still do ALOT). For the wedding day, Carmelisse and John kept us hyped and on schedule. A lot of things happen on the wedding day and Carmelisse was already ready to help us adjust and adapt. She captured all of our memories so beautifully. I can't stop singing her praises for her work and her as a person. She truly cares and it is seen through her work and her actions on the wedding day. AND Carmelisse is so stinking great - I went through a health scare the morning of my engagement shoot, I was trying to power through because I was afraid of canceling late but all Carmelisse cared about was that I was ok and she immediately rescheduled without additional thought. Carmelisse will be our forever photographer and we want her to shoot all of our future milestones. After our wedding, so many of our friends and family have already added her on Instagram for the future when she can shoot their wedding or life event.

Stephen Tang Photo
Rating: 5.0 (15 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,100
  • Serves Artesia, CA

While some photographers emphasize their gear or trendy post-processing, I take pride in subject-photographer interaction - the relation I build with clients, picking up on nuances in pose and expression while we shoot, anticipating the viewers' response - because ultimately, that's how photographs that matter to us are created. I'm a native New Yorker who found myself relocating to Los Angeles and making it my home. Wherever you'd like to have your wedding, it would be my pleasure to be your photographer.

Awarded Best of Zola
To say that I love and trust Stephen's work is an understatement. I live in New York City with some of the most talented photographers in the world available for hire, and my first choice wedding photographer was to fly Stephen Tang to NYC from Los Angeles. I wouldn’t trust or want anyone else for the job of capturing our wedding. We have worked with Stephen before, and I just love his style of work. I also fell in love with his studio work after seeing another couple's engagement photos and wanted similar pictures for our own. Stephen knocked it out of the park. Stephen exceeded our expectations with the wedding photos. We have everything we requested and much more than we realized we needed. It was so fun to relive our wedding through the pictures. The only potential downside of my wedding pictures was I realized that I forgot to take a picture with my grandfather. I felt pretty terrible about it. I received my pictures from Stephen and cried because there was a beautiful candid of my grandfather and I. It was so much better than a posed photo. It captured the essence of who we are. You get what you pay for with weddings. Your pictures are your memories. They live on for generations. It was important to us to have the best photographs, and we knew we could trust Stehen to capture the event beautifully. Stephen went above and beyond our expectations and worth every cent. It won't be 2,000 photos and duplicates of the same shot. He’s going to give you a beautiful, curated story of your wedding. Stephen was also very helpful with looking over my timeline and telling me what was realistic. His experience allowed me to set expectations for what I'd receive, and he did nothing if not exceed them. Wedding days are beautiful. They are intimate, but they are also stressful. I’ve been to weddings where the photographer brings an anxious energy. That’s not Stephen. He’s calm and confident. He also takes charge in a non abrasive way. On my wedding day I needed that. I needed my photographer to be a calming influence and I’m so grateful that I had exactly what I needed. Stephen Tang.

Gabbie Burseth Photo
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,200
  • Serves Artesia, CA

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the pleasure of working with Gabbie for both our engagement photos as well as our day-of wedding photos. 12/10 recommend working with her for both. We had such a fun time working with Gabbie and the photos turned out amazing. She went out of her way to get to know us as a couple during our engagement photo session, and you can tell she kept it all in mind on the day of our wedding. She worked hard to make sure all the special moments were captured, both portraits and candids that we had requested.

Jess Onesto
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)

Jess is a wedding photographer serving couples from Los Angeles to New York City. She specializes in documenting moments with honesty and optimism to showcase her couples’ love for each other, love for their people and their love for a damn good time. “My work is bold, enduring, and honest.” With more than a decade of experience as a photographer and a background in fine art and film photography, Jess approaches each wedding with intention and a sense of novelty. She works in both digital and film mediums and her work has been featured in publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Destination I Do and Brides.

Awarded Best of Zola
Since receiving our wedding photos from Jess, several of my friends and family members (including 2 professional photographers!) have asked me for her contact info because of how amazing her photos are!! When we started looking for a wedding photographer, we knew that we needed to find someone with a great eye for candids, who wouldn't make our pictures feel too staged, who had a fun/funky vibe like us, and who could handle wrangling my extremely large family (full of very opinionated people) for family photos, and Jess handled everything with ease! I feel so lucky that we found Jess, and I cannot recommend her more. Jess made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding day, and even gave guidance to family members who are normally awkward in photos (e.g. suggesting ways to pose to make them more comfortable). Jess went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process, checking in with us, getting to know us, and even coming to a venue walkthrough so she could get a sense of the space! I am so grateful for all of the work Jess put into our wedding, and the photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I rarely even like photos of myself, but I honestly am so in love with the ones that Jess took that I jump on every opportunity to whip out my phone and share them with friends!

My style focuses on natural moments, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident. From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, I document your day with timeless, beautifully edited images. Beyond weddings, I also specialize in capturing milestone moments like graduation portraits and formal events. Let’s work together to create unforgettable memories that you’ll cherish for years to come!

I have known Jordan for a while as an event photographer and wasn't sure if he did grad pictures, especially for groups. I was pleased to figure out that he does grad photos too and is extremely flexible about it! I had a group of around 11 people, and he was able to give me quick responses about the rate, which was an absolute deal. Jordan really cares for his clients and makes sure that everything is discussed before the event, including an itinerary. He was extremely flexible if we needed an extra hour and potential location itinerary changes. Coordinating 11 people for a photo shoot is not easy, but Jordan managed to do it with ease, attention to detail, and efficiency! Thanks to his expertise and creativity with poses and shots, we got some amazing solo and group shots that we will remember for a lifetime. He magically makes the experience very efficient, but is also not afraid to have fun! Highly recommend!

I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

We enjoyed the overall experience with Indigo West from the start. He understood our preference for mostly candid photography and he did mostly that, leaving us plenty of time to mingle with guests. The photos he did direct we also loved it was nice he kept that quick, which made it very easy for us! Very happy with this vendor!

My wife and I had actually happened upon Demecio and Luna Bella two years prior to our wedding completely by chance at a wedding expo in LA. Like any prospective couple, we had no idea what we were looking for. Luna Bella was actually one of the first vendors we spoke to on the floor that day. Hours later we had come to the conclusion that they were probably who we would choose for photos, it wasn't even close after talking to a hall full of photographers. Luna Bella was actually the first vendor we officially booked and by far the single best choice we made. We actually contracted Demecio and his team to do our engagement photos on top of the wedding photos, from the start he was extremely courteous and his enthusiasm made the day fun. Even early on Demecio was open to our ideas and engaged in even the smallest details my wife or I suggested. Post engagement he was easy to communicate with, for all the vendors we worked with, it was more like talking to a friend than just someone working a contract. This was made even more apparent as leading up to our wedding and the day of his team was as excited as we were for the wedding day. There's a million things that go into a wedding day and obviously having someone to rely on to help line out details and timelines like Demecio was a godsend. On site the day of, Demecio and his team weren't just photographers. Of all things, the last thing I expected was to be complimented on how much fun our wedding guests had interacting with his whole team. Some of my family mentioned his team members by name recounting small moments they helped inspire and capture in photos we later saw. Beyond that the Luna Bella team took so much love and care in their craft, if you're willing to spend the time with them, they're willing to go the extra mile to capture just the most gorgeous photos you'll ever see. Quality wise the delivery was timely and the style of the photos looked clean and natural. Overall I cannot recommend Demecio and the whole team at Luna Bella enough. They're straightforward in their promises and over deliver on results. An extraordinary team that I'm beyond grateful to have met.

During the shoot, she was so sweet, approachable, and warm. She captured such beautiful, meaningful moments for us during this special time in our lives. I’m beyond happy with how the photos turned out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for not just a talented photographer, but someone who truly cares about the people she’s photographing.

My name is Sarahi. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Since a child, I loved photographing with old polaroids and disposable cameras.. My family used to complain about the 100's of pictures I captured and how many rolls of film I used. Now, I look back at pictures from 10+ years ago, and see the beauty of "stopping time" in photos and keeping them forever. I see how it brings happiness to the people around me and myself. Nothing makes me happier than people looking back at precious memories. I can't wait to extend this experience to you and create an everlasting memory that you can carry for years to follow.

Joey is such an incredible photographer, and we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him! From the very beginning, he included us in the brainstorming and design process to make sure he captured the moments that were important to us throughout our wedding day. He was always very prompt and professional, quickly responding to emails and messages. On our wedding day itself, he did such an incredible job floating throughout the wedding and reception, capturing so many different moments while seamlessly being part of the celebration and party. When we reviewed the photos afterwards, we were blown away by how even in every photograph, he was able to capture so much of the magic and joy of the day itself! His editing was top notch, and he did an excellent job augmentingthe beauty of each moment. Every photo was incredibly evocative, and looking through his photos now brings us back to that special day. He was instrumental in memorializing such a beautiful night of celebration, and we cannot recommend his services enough!

Hello! My name is Brenda and I've resided in SoCal all of my life. Living in Los Angeles has given me the opportunity to explore many beautiful places right here in my backyard, I enjoy hiking and backpacking as well as eating all of the diverse food we can find here! How did I get into Photography? A Middle School project that required us to document our everyday lives sparked that interest and I've had a camera with me since then! Having been a bride myself a few years ago, I know how important photos are. I put myself in your shoes and make sure to document all of the small details and moments as well as the can't miss big moments!

Brenda and Vivianna were simply fantastic. They were communicative, kind, attentive, without ever being underfoot. And they took beautiful photos. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I wish there were an option to give Hugo & Kat 1,000 stars! Truly, Hugo and Parker (Hugo's second shooter) saved our wedding. For context, 4 days before our wedding, our original photographer canceled on us due to her uncle's death with no notice. We totally understood but knew we needed to find someone we trusted right away. I remember I had reached out to Hugo & Kat before I had hired our original photographer (and loved them) but had chosen to go with the other photographer (mostly based on a number of Instagram followers), which, in hindsight, was a mistake. 4 days before our wedding I called Hugo, and he was fortunately available and we got booked right away. Not only was his pricing way more affordable, but he also included a second shooter! The LA fires hit (my family lives in LA) our wedding week was wild, to say the least, but we got down to San Diego for the big day. I had never met Hugo & Parker (Kat was very ill) and didn't know what to expect. As someone who doesn't love having their photo taken, I was a little nervous, but Hugo & Parker put me, my husband, and our guests right at ease. They were so fun, interactive, professional, and efficient, and they really brought the energy! They felt like a part of the family, totally integrated into the day, capturing every tiny moment. It was seamless, easy, and so fun to work with them. We had a perfect wedding day, so much of that is owed to Hugo & Paker. When I got the sneak peeks back (24 hours after the wedding!!!) I SOBBED! I had never seen such beautiful photos. I felt so pretty, and we looked so happy. These were truly the pictures of my bridal Pinterest dreams! I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews, but I knew I needed to let all SO CAL brides know that Hugo & Kat are the BEST wedding photographers out there. I don't have a single critique. I'm just so immensely grateful for their willing hearts and positive energy and the photos that I will cherish forever. You best bet that the second I'm pregnant I will be flying back to LA to schedule a maternity shoot, haha! Book Hugo & Kat, I promise you, you will be so grateful you did!
