“Skyview Golf Club was the PERFECT place to get married! My now husband and I had a blast at this venue and they made the process soo smooth. Hildegard was a huge help and basically held our hand along the way to make sure we checked everything needed to get done. Not to mention, we were planning a wedding across the country so her communication was essential to this process. I couldn't have asked for a better spot. It's also such a naturally beautiful venue that we didn't need to go overboard with the decoration as they already had a lot of stuff on site! I would 100% recommend this location to people and already have to some of my recently engaged friends! Additionally, their partnered vendors were everything we needed as well. Made it so much easier as they had recommendations already on lock. Thank you again Skyview for making our special night the most memorable.”

“We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.”

And suddenly the only reason to have a cell phone is to take photos of every incredibly gorgeous vignette. You have no choice but to be present and to indulge the senses as you take each step through the maze of decorated display and historic architecture. Carolers, trays of wonderful treats and smells and smiles all made for the most perfect and unique experience. The event was so seamless organized and curated. Hats off to Clare and Katie and the team!!! A personal thank you to them for the endless hours that it took to bring this amazing community event to our valley for all of us to enjoy. “We had the most perfect wedding weekend at Vanderbilt a few weeks ago. We had our joint bachelor-bachelorette party from Wednesday to Friday, our rehearsal dinner there on Friday, and then the most incredible wedding on Saturday. Every single aspect of our experience was absolutely wonderful. The place itself is stunning. Every room has a different vibe, and there is so much space to hang out. The outdoor deck, views, and landscaping really sold us on Vanderbilt; you feel totally immersed in nature while staying close to everything. Vanderbilt is also so close to Hudson, so going into town for a night out was easy and super fun. From the moment we inquired about availability back in November of last year, we knew we were in good hands with Henrietta. She doesn’t miss a beat and is so attentive, down-to-earth, and kind. She’s a wonderful communicator and worked seamlessly with our month-of coordinator and all of our vendors. She and her husband Matt (the Chef) are truly what make Vanderbilt so special. The food is absolutely delicious, and we're a picky group. Coming from NYC, we have high expectations and didn't want anything that resembled "wedding food," and Chef Matt did an incredible job. If we had just one of his dishes at a normal restaurant, we would be regulars. He was also super accommodating when it came to customizing both our rehearsal dinner and wedding menus. Also, the signature drinks they offer are delicious and super creative. The staff they hire as servers and bartenders are incredible too. They're total pros and make the entire event feel warm and fun. Every guest felt taken care of. I wish we could get married again just to relive this experience! Our wedding was over two weeks ago, and we're still having friends and family tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to.”

Welcome to The Caboose, a stunning 3,500-square-foot space steeped in Hudson Valley history, reimagined for an open, modern feel that’s both communal and cosmopolitan. With its soaring beamed ceilings and expansive cathedral windows, The Caboose is truly the best wedding venue in Hudson, NY and the perfect spot to host your next seated event, where guests can enjoy a seasonal farm-to-table menu curated by Executive Chef Nicole LoBue. “We had a roundabout journey to The Caboose, but I couldn't be happier that it's where we landed for our wedding in September '25. From the jump, we appreciated the gorgeous space, their commitment to doing right by the planet, and the affiliation with Kitty's—some of our favorite food in Hudson. The combination of a beautiful garden and stunning indoor space made us feel like we were safe no matter the weather. Every time we visited, the garden got better. We loved how lush and colorful it was for our day. We enjoyed working with Caitlin, the venue manager. She was creative and flexible and willing to work with us to do a few things a little differently (like have the ceremony in a different spot in the garden). The food was truly incredible—we still have people raving about it! We appreciated that because we were right on the edge seasonally, we were able to choose the summer menu instead of the one for fall, which felt just right for the day's weather and feeling. Because we had our tasting in February, we weren't able to try most of the items we had, but we trusted we were in good hands—and we definitely were. The kitchen team was also incredibly accommodating with our guest's dietary restrictions—everyone felt very cared for, which is what we hoped for the most! We had live music as well as a DJ and everything sounded truly great in the space. The staff working on our day was SO kind and helpful—people made mention of how warm everyone was, too. I saw many a chitchat at the bar, just because they were so lovely! Just a note, too, that while The Caboose was pricey, we were totally amazed by the value and all that they take care of. We looked at dozens of venues—from full-service spots to DIY operations—and kept coming back to the mix of creativity, value, and quality that The Caboose offered. The fact that they take care of the food, drinks, furniture rentals, lighting, sound system, and staff—and all at such a high caliber—unheard of! We truly couldn't have done it without them. “We had the most amazing time at Diamond Mills Hotel! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is wonderful to work with. My husband and I also loved exploring Saugerties! Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! When your daughter gets engaged to the love of her life, you immediately want the absolute most perfect wedding day for her and you want all her wedding dreams to come true. The staff is beyond compare and the food was top-notch delicious! “If anyone were to ask me what my favorite part of my wedding was I’d have to say “Black Walnut Farm!” What a remarkable experience it has been to work with Sarah, Jim, Lish, Lindsey, and of course, Miss Lilly! My partner and I didn’t even bother viewing another venue because we could instantly feel how special the BWF property was — we called 30 minutes after our tour and said we were ready for the contract and deposit. Even still Black Walnut Farm far exceeded our expectations! Everything about this venue is so thoughtfully curated and managed. There is just so much care and consideration that has gone into every inch of this very special place! My partner and I decided to have a “honeymoon” week during the week of the wedding; we chose to have the extended package where we stayed on the property just the two of us. Unwinding in front of the fireplace while playing chess and drinking wine was such a lovely way to relax the night before. The sunroom is the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding! After our wedding (in lieu of an after party) we just asked to have the hot tub ready for us, which was the best move ever! Most importantly, the BWF team were so kind and patient, cool and collected. In the face of some extreme family drama and chaotic spring weather they always rolled with the punches. I felt that I could trust them fully and always felt safe and cared for. I was not afraid to defer to their expertise in the midst of the chaos, and I do not regret any of those decisions! In fact, the backup rain plan ended up being better than the original plan! Thank you again, Black Walnut Farm. You have created something so very, very special and we will be eternally grateful!”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

This room is beautiful, it has a large 4 poster bed, sitting room and huge bathroom with large walk in shower. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Patrick Henry ( one of their restaurants on site), which is adjacent to the venue property. The food was delicious and gave off a casual vibe for out of town guests as they were arriving. The day of the wedding the bride and groom have their own beautiful getting ready rooms. The bridal getting ready room had a lot of natural light and salon style chairs for hair and makeup.
