“We had our wedding at the Colonial Hotel in July, and it was truly the best experience from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. With the pagoda outside for the ceremony and the amazing outdoor tent for the reception. We had family traveling who got the pleasure of staying at the hotel, as did me and my Husband, and everything was clean and comfortable. Access to the pool and hot tub, and their amazing restaurant and bar. The day of the wedding I was well taken care of, and didn’t have to worry about a single thing, everything was decorated and prepared perfectly, they took my visions and made them come to life! Both me and my husband got many updates on the day of the wedding, making sure we knew where we needed to be and what would be happening next, which helped tremendously! We couldn’t be anymore pleased, and we will forever recommend the Colonial Hotel!”

“Our experience with The Riverview was incredible from start to finish. The process of booking included a detailed tour of the venue and a thorough review of the terms and conditions at a meeting to sign the contract, leaving us confident that we fully understood what we were agreeing to. Our tasting event was a wonderful chance to see the team in action and make some decisions about our own menu based on what we did and didn’t like. We worked with Kayla and Meghan as our coordinators, both of whom were a pleasure to work with and extremely responsive throughout the planning process. We were able to take advantage of their expertise based on experiences with past weddings but still had the flexibility to customize the details of the day so that it didn’t feel like a “cookie-cutter” event. And the physical space is truly beautiful! Our planning experience was wonderful, but the experience with the venue and team on the day of our wedding was exceptional. Meghan’s positive but firm leadership kept things moving smoothly and between her and our attendants, Cam and Felicia, every detail was attended to! They were prepared for everything, even wardrobe malfunctions, makeup mishaps, and last-minute requests. We did quite a bit of DIY planning and customizing, but on the day of, we did not need to lift a finger! We were especially impressed the the special attention paid to our priorities. My husband and I were excited about our menu and prioritized food during our planning meetings. At our wedding, the venue made sure we had plenty of opportunity to eat, but the excitement of the day took away our appetite. The Riverview team packed up all of the food we couldn’t eat and sent us home with our leftovers (plus some!) so that we still got to enjoy our meal! Another item worth noting is that although two weddings took place that night, we never would have known it! We could not hear the other wedding in our ballroom and never encountered the other group during the entire time we were on site! In short, planning our wedding at The Riverview was an amazing experience, and the wedding day itself was even better! I’d encourage anyone to book!”

“I had my wedding here last week. Holy crap, they knocked it out of the park. Several people said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. They said the food was so good they’d come back if it were a restaurant. The cake was also outstanding and so delicious (shout out to Paula!). More than all of that, Jonna the bridal attendant took care of me and my husband so well that we hardly had to worry about anything. We got to eat everything because she set it aside for us and we set aside time for a calm moment. She made sure we got to take the cake home. She was an excellent communicator, made sure everyone was where they needed to be and she was somehow always there when we needed her. It was like she was everywhere all at once! I thought I was going to need to corral people to help me take stuff home that night. Nope! She knew who my immediate family was and had them grab a few things. She made it all low stress. Linda was amazing in the planning process. She was communicative and diligent on following up on our loose ends. I always felt like she was there if I needed her. Chris was our salesperson and did a wonderful job. He went above and beyond and met us right before (or after) closing because it was the only time that worked for us. He made us so excited to book the place and the team truly delivered!! I wish I could get married AGAIN and I’d do it here! Ps you HAVE to book Bruno of Beauty and Life Captured! If you book here. “The best decision was to have our wedding at Georgina’s. From the beginning to the actual day everything was taken care of and Harold went above and beyond. Everything was included from the cake to the table numbers to the reserved signs during the ceremony. Harold kept everything on task and the timing was perfect. I felt so confident during the whole process and he was so easy to work with. All of our guests were taken care of personally by either Harold or the staff. “If you are looking for a wedding venue on a moderate budget, the Publick House Inn is a no-brainer!! We had a December wedding and right from the start we knew it was the right venue. Everything was so charming- the perfect vibe if you want a classy, cozy, traditional New England vibe, but you don't want it to feel insanely uptight or uncomfortable. Our planners, Allison and Lia, were AMAZING! They were extremely responsive, kind and helpful with every single question we had. Honestly, every member of the staff we encountered was so friendly and that made our experience that much better. Now in terms of price, I think you could not get an all-around better deal. I had been quoted 10K for a tent alone in some venues closer to Boston, but with the Publick House in we were able to have an event for 100 people which included hors d'oeuvres, a nice three-course meal, a cake *included* and we even had enough left in our budget to have an open bar!! The setting in central MA also made the experience so convenient and relaxing for everyone; almost like a mini-resort in the country. If you are considering the Publick House - schedule a tour!! It was so perfect we wish we could do it again.”

“As an event planner I was recently hired to manage a wedding at the Bristol Event Center and had an A experience throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is beautiful—spacious and super clean—and the ballroom worked perfectly for 180 people that wanted dinner as well as a giant dance floor. In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding Sarah (the wedding specialist onsite) was fantastic to work with. She was quick to answer questions, very detail-oriented, and completely in sync with me on the actual wedding day, which made everything run smoothly and on time. Load-in and load-out for vendors was also very easy. The banquet staff was efficient and pleasant and there were plenty of them onsite that evening, so service moved quickly. The food displays were visually appealing, with the raw bar being a real highlight, and having such a large pre-function space and patio gave guests plenty of options to chat and relax when they wanted to step outside of the main ballroom. We had one guest that was in a wheelchair, but the entire venue is accessible and that was no issue. Overall, both the space and the team were excellent, and I’d absolutely recommend the BEC without any hesitation. Thank you for helping to make my job so easy!”

“My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Grand Oak Villa on 11/17/23 and could not have asked for a better experience. From the start of our wedding planning experience, Angela and Tarin were absolutely amazing. They made my husband and I feel so welcome and treated us like family from the very beginning. About eight months before the wedding I tore my ACL and had surgery and Tarin even checked in with me to see how the surgery went and wish me well. As we got closer to the wedding, the girls made sure that everything went off without a hitch. They checked with us about our other vendors, gave us some advice, and helped us double and triple check all of our information right up to the day of the wedding. They reduced our wedding planning stresses by so much!!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous the day of our wedding, the food was beyond delicious, and all of the staff were so kind and friendly. Our personal server, Diana, was truly the star of the show on wedding day. She checked in with us at the exact right time, every time. She never made us feel like she was interrupting, but she was always there right when we needed her. And our drinks were never empty! We truly cannot say enough good things about the Grand Oak Villa and the lovely staff there. They really felt like family. Every single one of our guests remarked that the food was incredible, drinks were made perfectly, and the staff was so kind. Angela even personally greeted our parents the night of the wedding. I’d give this place ten stars if I could!”

“5 stars is not enough. Our wedding was without a doubt the most perfect event we could have ever wished for. From the beginning planning stages, Hattie, Lauren, Kelley, everyone was so incredibly responsive, helpful and answered a million questions from myself or my mom. They worked with us to ensure everything was perfect, and we could not have had a more elegant wedding without the help of the entire venue staff. From day of Rob and everyone who assisted made sure things ran so smoothly. One of our busses was delayed due to traffic (Memorial Day Weekend- no surprise there) & even with the minor inconvenience the staff made sure that things ran so smoothly that myself (the bride) and my guests really had no clue things were pushed back a tiny bit. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable. We had our cocktail hour both inside & outside and adding a second bar was ideal. We added a sushi bar, and my guests are still talking about how delicious it was. They accommodated all of our requests with ease, and I wish I could relive the day and night over and over again. All of my vendors informed me during the planning process just how professional and wonderful the venue is, and it could not be more true. They all worked seamlessly with Riverhouse. Our personal attendants were wonderful, ensuring myself and my husband had the best day and night of our lives. Most venues do not offer suites for grooms, and I am so happy that the men were able to have their own place to relax and hangout. our bridal suite was prepared perfectly for us with champagne snacks and everything we needed. Quality service is hard to come by these days, but every single staff member working at our wedding went above and beyond to make sure my husband, myself and my guests had an incredible night. My guests are still raving weeks later about the wedding. I could not recommend this venue and the entire staff enough, get married here!!!
