At the heart of my process, I believe in being a calming presence who gives you room to be the most genuine version of yourself in front of my camera, gently guiding you with prompts while capturing sophisticated portraits and true moments. So rather than worrying if you’re missing any of it you value being present, and will hire a photographer who will allow you to do just that. Hi! I'm Brittany, and I'm a photographer, painter, graphic designer in Charlottesville, Virginia. My passion in life is creating art that elevates story and human connection, and weddings are a unique crossroads in life where those two things unfold in powerful ways. Although I am primarily a photographer in the wedding industry, capturing the moments big and small, I also do floral design, invitation design, and keepsake paintings for couples, and therefore have a unique understanding of and appreciation for all that goes making a wedding special and keeping those memories preserved for many years to come.

We’ve been married for more than two years, but have been together since the 11th grade. The only thing more important to us than making new friends and our weekly date night is our faith! I started my photography business when everything was shutting down due to COVID (great time to start a business right? LOL! But that did not stop me from doing what I love! As soon as the music began playing and the bride walked through the doors to come down the aisle, the groom immediately was hit with tears (the type that every bride hopes for). I saw from the corner of my eye that his mom turned around and instead of watching the bride walk down the aisle like everyone else, she watched her son’s reaction in tears. This is why I fell in love with being a wedding photographer.
