The venue itself is simply beautiful, with a gorgeous lake view that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. The space was clean and cozy, and we felt we got great value for our money. They went above and beyond to make our day special - they let us use some of their leftover pumpkins to complement our decor, and even made a special to-go plate for my husband and I after the reception. The staff was communicative and helpful throughout the entire planning process, and made everything so easy for us, from picking the menu to setup and cleanup. Your wedding day, one of the happiest and most important days of your life, should be nothing short of perfection. Simple yet elegant, romantic and magical - your celebration at The Manor House will be everything you have always dreamed of. The six acres of the mansion are exclusively yours to enjoy on your wedding day. Whether it be an outdoor ceremony against the dramatic backdrop of Dry Creek Canyon or an intimate gathering near one of our cozy fireplaces, The Manor House is sure to have something that will suit your needs.

Awarded Best of Zola
“Our ceremony and reception were at the Manor House on November 30, 2025. We valued the flexibility to have our ceremony indoors or outdoors. Although our dream scenario was to be outside with the epic views and vistas, the weather did not cooperate, and we had to move inside. But, the good news is that you can do that -- no problem -- and, it was seamless and arguably just as uniquely romantic and memorable. Manor House guides you through the entire process and provides coordinator services as part of your package. We met with several different folks as we progressed from planning to the wedding itself, and everyone was professional and knowledgeable. That said, Katie was our coordinator, and she did a wonderful job guiding us to make well-informed decisions that truly delivered our vision for a perfect day we "heart" Katie.  I've lived in the area for 13 years, and I had no idea this place existed. What a shame. It's a hidden treasure. Go visit. Meet the staff. Attend a tasting. If you want a classy, elevated experience that is right here in metro-Denver but feels like you somehow transported to a place like the Stanley in Estes, Manor House is the place for you!”

“Kodie is such a gem of a human being and I am so blessed that I got to work with her, she made my whole wedding experience and wedding day absolutely perfect!!! My (now) husband and I are from MN and we wanted to get married in CO and have a small wedding. At the beginning of my wedding planning I found Kodie when she had posted in groups about her mobile bar business K-Bar, in a CO wedding group on Facebook. I went to her website to check out the bars and such because they looked adorable. While I was looking around the website I found that they had recently began to offer micro weddings at their home/land near Guffey CO that couples can make their own day! So I sent a message and Kodie sent me more information and it was an immediate yes!! We booked and got everything going! Kodie responded to emails and texts in a timely manner and we spoke on the phone many times. She is so nice and took time to go over options, give recommendations, and walk me through everything. She coordinated and put everything together for us! We had a big beautiful white tent with sides that we could open or close (in case of weather) with cafe lights, portapotty, yard games, tables and chairs, beverages, and food!! We had a personal pizza party & a nonalcoholic beverage station! Everyone made their own pizza and Kodie cooked it in a wood fire grill! She had so many topping options for people and it was a HUGE hit!! We got to pick an alcoholic beverage package and what bar we wanted (we went with Johnnie Cash)! Chris was a fabulous bartender and he was so fun to chat with! Kodie had so many fun options, decor, and details!! We have nothing but good things to say about our day and there is not a single thing that we would have changed!! I kid you not, we received compliments from every guest and had multiple people tell us that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to!! Everything was exactly what I had dreamed of and working with K-Bar was really what made it so great! Not to mention the gorgeous views and their donkeys! When we come back to CO for vacations in the future, I will for sure be reaching out to Kodie to meet up because her and Mitch feel like family now! XO-The Utsch’s!”

We got so many compliments and positive comments about literally every part of the day (everyone LOVED Kodie, Mitch, and Chris)! We are so happy with everything! We came out from MN and Kodie was so easy to work with/correspond with in the months leading up to our big day! We had lots of options to really personalize our day to make it our own. “We got married here a little under a year ago and absolutely loved it. Our non-negotiables while looking for a venue were no curfew for music/dancing, having our wedding party stay onsite with us and being able to choose our own vendors. This place hit the mark! You cannot beat the accommodations, it’s such a unique experience for friends and family and we had so much fun getting to stay a few days before our wedding. There are wildflowers all over the property which just adds to the natural bliss and beauty of your big day. The owner and her family are some of the sweetest, most genuine people and we have kept in touch since our big day. We can’t wait to show our kids one day and create even more memories.”

“Marchand Ranch Weddings & Events Venue provided an exceptional experience for our wedding. Their communication was personal, quick, and very supportive throughout the planning process. Any ideas you have, they will work to make it happen! The Something Borrowed shed was incredible and helped so much in the planning process and decor. It is an amazing addition. The venue itself had a beautiful rustic barn setting with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The huge sliding doors made the reception so fun with an indoor/outdoor dance floor. My mother is in a wheelchair and had no issues getting in and out of the venue nor any issues with parking. The venue comes with a day of coordinator, the highway was closed that morning and I didn't have to worry about communicating with my vendors at all and everything was taken care of! Tiffany and the whole team really help your vision come to life and you can really personalize the space to fit your decor and guests. They do not nickle and dime you for chairs and table cloths, a lot of places can't say the same!! I would highly recommend Marchand Ranch to any couple looking for a breathtaking, mountain inspired wedding venue where you can let your creativity fly and bring in outside vendors of your choice, which helps being budget friendly! You are right up against the mountains, without the cost of those insane mountain venues. I wish I could have a wedding there every weekend!”

“When I tell you that our wedding couldn't have gone any more perfect, I mean it! We started our planning with Violet, but she had to move to fulfill some awesome opportunities and we love that for her! From there we got Monique "Mo" who took our wedding and executed the planning beyond what we could have expected. On wedding day, there was torrential down pour and Mo kept me calm, collected, and confident. 15 minutes before our ceremony, the rain disappeared and the skies cleared for the rest of the night. The entire staff wiped off all of the chairs and squeegeed the ceremony area right in time for 4:00 pm start. It was AMAZING. Everything went so smooth, no detail was left unseen, and the staff were SO diligent on making sure everything was just right. Prior to me walking down the aisle, Darby was right by my side adjusting my veil that had fallen, making sure I reapplied lipstick, and got me safely and smoothly on my way. We later found her at the bar with Keely, and both of them held the energy for our guests' experiences with smiles on their faces and laughs to fill the halls. Not a dry mouth in sight. Towards the end of the night, Mo had to hand us off to Ryan our Captain, and we couldn't have been more pleased with how sweet and thoughtful he was. We are naturally used to cleaning up after ourselves and entertaining people, but Ryan stepped in and made sure that we focused on our wedding and not our natural actions. He also fixed the photo booth for us as I think we jammed it with too many pictures. From there he instilled that our stuff would be packed up and ready for us the next day. He carefully packed everything! I had some very fragile and sentimental items, and he made sure to take care of them. Our DJ Emily was epic from initial video call to wedding day. We had an open mic for people to speak, and it went on WAY longer than expected but she kept the crowd confident and really allowed the leniency in the change of planned time. We met our chef Christian at the food tasting but did not see him during our wedding and that's OK because we KNOW he was in that kitchen making sure that the food was top tier. We are 4 days out of the event date and people are STILL talking about the food. The feedback from our guests was that this is the ABSOLUTE BEST wedding they've ever been to and that that is heavy on emphasis because they have been to many weddings before. One person who I think is name Kirah (I hope I got this right so she gets recognized), she frequented our sweetheart table and made sure we were never hungry or thirsty. She was a little shy at first, but we hope Wedgewood keeps instilling her confidence because she will be a great asset long term once she finds her confidence. Her smile alone will ease anyone's nerves. We felt like royalty and felt valued by the entire staff at Wedgewood Briarhurst Manor. I know we are not the only couple that has had their event here, but we FEEL like we were. We wish that we could relive this night over and over again. Impeccable job! We can't wait to see this venue flourish!”

“Our wedding at Craftwood Peak by Wedgewood Weddings was something out of a fairytale. We are from Kansas and always dreamed of a Colorado wedding, and this adorable, yet enchanting venue in Manitou Springs was better than anything we could’ve imagined. Their coordinating team was excellent help when it came to planning a destination wedding. It was the most beautiful day, and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing thanks to the fabulous event coordination team. Our event coordinator, Violet, truly made sure that everything was taken care of and we loved working with her from the second we met her. She is such a kind, and caring person and genuinely a joy to work with. Our Captains, Jenny and Israel, were a tremendous help to us throughout the night and allowed us to enjoy the night thoroughly. They were a very calm presence and we really appreciated them being there. Our server, Landon, was an absolute delight and always made sure we had everything we needed and more. He was very kind, attentive, and always made sure we had something to drink - alcohol or water! Our bartender, Tyler, was a delight and kept our guests happy throughout the night, and served everyone with a great attitude. We greatly appreciate him! Our chefs, Tristan and John, knocked it out of the park with all of the AMAZING food. It was one of the most talked about things at our wedding as everyone was very pleased with their food. Many people told us it was the best wedding food they ever had, and we certainly agree! As a couple who works in the restaurant business, we know how under appreciated the role of dishwasher is. We want to thank Patrick for being there to wash dishes throughout the night - we noticed your hard work as there was about 60 people in attendance and there were no dirty dishes lying around at all. Last, but certainly not least, our DJ for the night, DJ Fritz, was THE life of the party. We got several compliments from our guests on how fun DJ Fritz was and we agree! It was truly a pleasure to work with him! We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone wanting a Colorado wedding - even for someone who wanted a fall wedding, the venue was so beautiful in late August. Honorable mentions to Dawn’s Floral Creations for helping us make our wedding day so beautiful, to Sugarplum Cake Shoppe for the delicious and beautiful desserts, and also to Summer with Tina Joiner Photography for capturing some of the best photos we’ve ever had taken in our lives! Our wedding was the best day of our lives (so far) and we are so happy to recommend this venue to anyone interested!”

“Our experience with Lori and Willow Vale were incredible. She was easy to communicate and connect with. We loved her. She was able to coordinate the whole day for us from our schedule and this took a massive amount of stress away from us - especially doing a destination wedding! The venue is incredibly beautiful. Having the wedding party stay in the cottages was so fun and made this more of an experience than just one day that flew by. The cottages were so clean and comfortable as well. It did rain at the time we were supposed to get married but Lori did all she could to still make everything happen in the grove. 30 minutes later - Lori was soaking wet and running all around and she made our dream come true of getting married in the grove. We loved every second of our wedding here!”

“WOW. Cannot say enough about how special this venue is. The massive mountain vistas, wide open spaces, fresh air and coziness; this place has is magical. If you are looking for a venue to escape to the mountains and craft a purposeful weekend full of your favorite people in a rustic, outdoor paradise, you've found it. We got married in mid July on the ranch and had the full weekend to enjoy time with loved ones. From the very beginning, Allison was flexible and genuinely wanted to know how to help make our day a success. This is not your traditional cookie-cutter venue and is such an exceptional place to really make your wedding YOURS. All of the basics are there but none of the frilly bells and whistles we didn't need. The property is massive and so picturesque with sweeping plains and big mountains all around. The space is so accommodating for whatever you want to dream up for your special day and perhaps most unique of all, it can be rented for an entire weekend as a place to stay and celebrate with those you love so you don't need to try to squeeze everything into a single evening. We had a relaxed welcome event with a taco truck, beers and yard games on Friday night as an excuse to spend some extra time with out of town guests. As it cooled down, everyone gathered around the firepits trading stories. The night before really took pressure off of the wedding day and the meadow within the ranch was so perfect. There is even a saloon with a whole selection of games (ping-pong, cornhole, horseshoes) already there to enjoy. This also served as a fabulous indoor space for 15 minutes right after our ceremony on Saturday when we had a quick afternoon thunderstorm roll through. The barn was cozy and a perfect space for dancing during the reception. We danced until 2 am and although our vendors all trickled out when their roles were done, there was no cut-off time at the venue itself so we were able to dance all night long. This is incredibly unique. Very few venues allow this. We fell in love with the views first but truly could not have imagined a more fabulous, relaxed space for our celebration. Thank you Guyton Ranch! It will forever be a special place in our hearts.”

About wedding venues in Guffey, CO

What Makes Colorado's Wedding Venues Unique?

Colorado's wedding venues offer something truly special, blending architectural diversity with stunning natural scenery. You'll find sophisticated urban elegance at the Grand Hyatt Denver right alongside the rustic charm of Spruce Mountain Ranch. Every window at the Flagstaff House Restaurant frames breathtaking mountain vistas while Tapestry House By Wedgewood Weddings pairs Victorian beauty with meticulously maintained gardens. Mountain View Ranch takes indoor-outdoor flow to the next level with retractable walls that let you seamlessly connect with nature while keeping guests comfortable. When it comes to costs you'll be pleasantly surprised - Colorado venues typically run between $6,000 and $6,800, which falls on the lower end of what you'd pay nationally where prices range from $6,500 to $12,000.

How Much Does a Colorado Mountain Wedding Cost?

Planning a Colorado mountain wedding for 150 guests? You're looking at around $46,999 total. Here's how that breaks down across your key vendors: - Florists: 16% ($7,466) - Venues: 14% ($6,399) - Catering: 11% ($5,119) - Photography: 10% ($4,622) - Videography: 9% ($4,124) - Wedding Planning: 9% ($4,124) - Bar Services: 9% ($4,095) - Bands and DJs: 3% ($1,500) - Cake and Desserts: 2% ($801) - Hair and Makeup: 1% ($670)

When Should You Book Colorado Wedding Services?

Timing is everything when planning your Colorado wedding. Start with your venue 13 months out - that's 390 days before your big day. Your photographer and wedding planner should be next on the list about 10 months ahead. Most other vendors including your florist caterer and videographer need about 9 months' notice while hair and makeup artists typically want 8 months' heads up. Planning a fall wedding? Book even earlier since September sees the highest demand.

Which Colorado Mountain Regions Offer the Best Wedding Settings?

You'll find perfect settings year-round in Colorado's mountains. The Grange shows off spectacular fall colors with its aspen groves while Della Terra lets you host cozy outdoor ceremonies with snowy peaks as your backdrop. Spring brings wildflower meadows at Wild Basin Lodge and summer celebrations shine under Balistreri Vineyards' pergola-covered patio. September proves most popular combining perfect temperatures with reliable weather.

How Do Denver Wedding Venues Compare to Mountain Locations?

Whether you're drawn to city sophistication or mountain majesty Colorado's got you covered. Craftwood Peak puts you face-to-face with Pikes Peak while The Simon offers industrial-chic style with Denver skyline views. You can celebrate in the historic Kirk Of Highland or surrounded by Garden of the Gods' stunning red rocks. City venues like Rooftop1630 deliver urban views while mountain locations connect you directly with nature.

What Weather Contingencies Do Colorado Venues Provide?

Colorado venues know how to handle whatever weather comes your way. Mount Vernon Canyon Club keeps you connected to the views through its glass-enclosed reception space while Church Ranch Event Center offers multiple indoor ceremony spots with mountain vistas through massive windows. Want a winter ceremony? Ashley Ridge has heated outdoor pavilions and Meadow Creek Lodge keeps everyone comfortable with covered walkways between venues.

Where Can You Find All-Inclusive Colorado Wedding Packages?

Looking to simplify your planning? Wedgewood Weddings properties across Colorado including Tapestry House and Mountain View Ranch handle everything from catering to coordination. The Grand Hyatt Denver includes room blocks with their packages while Balistreri Vineyards wraps up wine service catering and coordination in one easy contract. These venues make planning easier with dedicated coordinators managing timelines and vendor teams.

How Do Colorado Wedding Budgets Scale with Guest Count?

Your Colorado wedding budget flexes with your guest list: - 50 guests: $20,802 - 100 guests: $34,304 - 150 guests: $46,999 - 200 guests: $58,346 - 250 guests: $69,693 - 300 guests: $81,041 This scaling helps you maintain the quality you want while adjusting for your perfect guest count.
