I have had the honor of working in the wedding industry for nearly 8 years now & have only recently branched off as an independent wedding planner. From your ceremony and reception to an engagement party or rehearsal dinner, let’s save you the stress & leave all the coordination to me!
Nice to meet you... My name is Monique Cunningham. I'm 32 years old, a proud mom of 2 beautiful rescue pups & happily married! My husband owns the most beautiful tropical rooftop bar, PufferFish, which just so happens to be a perfect place to take the after party! From wedding ceremonies and receptions to engagement parties and rehearsal dinners, I have executed over 300 events & personally coordinated 75 weddings. Your time is valuable & you deserve to enjoy every - single - moment.

There are really no words to say how absolutely LIFESAVING it was to have Monique coordinate our wedding!!! From the start of the process with filling out our questionnaire to packing up the end of the night, she is THE most detail-oriented, efficient, get things done professional. She is so warm, welcoming, and open to getting to know your vision and making it happen. We had quite a large bridal party with multiple events, and her wedding master document made it so much easier to keep everything and everyone organized and make sure nothing was missed. People always say to expect something to go wrong on your wedding day, it's not going to be perfect, but honestly nothing was missed and it was everything we could have hoped for. All of our decor and details were in place, everything was accounted for at the end of the night, and so many people in our party commented what a perfect combination she was of "professional and firm but friendly and not overbearing at all." I have been recommending Monique to anyone and everyone, do yourself a favor and hire THE BEST in the business with Monique!!!!

From your flower gay & the spellbook ring box, to those adorable Funko Pops on the cake table & your personalized shotskis doubling as the guest book... Iconic doesn't even begin to cover it! Not to mention those custom Wolski’s favors. You better believe I still have my “I closed the Hofprice wedding” sticker!! Truly, every single detail was so unapologetically YOU. ✧˖°.☾ Add in the Lakefront Quartet casually playing Backstreet Boys & Death Cab for Cutie for the ceremony, your cat pillows making their way from the couches to the sweetheart table & not me fully sprinting to the dance floor when Defying Gravity came on 🩷💚 absolute chaos in the best way. Also… how are you already coming up on your one-year anniversary?! Truly rude how fast time flies. Monique coordinated our wedding rehearsal and the day of the wedding. Monique is a true professional. She is highly responsive and delightful to work with. She coordinated endless details seamlessly. Monique uses a very detailed plan with her clients, which helps everyone stay on the same page. There is no detail too big or small for her to execute. I highly recommend her, she will exceed your expectations !

Monique was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding day. From day one, she was incredibly responsive, supportive, and fully aligned with our vision. She helped us troubleshoot with vendors, kept us organized, and made sure every detail was thought through long before the big day arrived. Our one-on-one meeting with her brought us so much peace of mind — every loose end was tied up and we felt completely prepared. She ran our rehearsal beautifully, and everyone walked away confident and comfortable with the ceremony. On the wedding day itself, we didn’t have to think or stress about a single thing. We knew Monique had everything under control, and she absolutely did. The decor was placed exactly as we envisioned, communication with vendors was seamless, and she kept the entire day running perfectly on time — without us ever feeling rushed. Because of her, we were able to be fully present and soak up every moment. Monique truly goes above and beyond for her couples. We trusted her wholeheartedly, and she made the most important day of our lives feel completely unforgettable. We can’t imagine working with anyone else and would recommend her a thousand times over to any couple starting their wedding planning journey.

Monique is exactly who you hope to find when you start looking for a wedding planner! We were planning a Milwakuee wedding at Turner Hall while living in Chicago and felt lost. From the moment she joined us, the stress lifted. She understood our vision, offered honest guidance and made every decision easier and clearer. What makes her special is the way she cares. She is calm when things get chaotic, confident when you feel unsure and completely invested in making your day unforgettable. Because of her, we were able to enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. Our guests adored her and still talk about how wonderful she was. We joked about our Bengal babies not being able to make it to the wedding, and Monique showed up at our reception with giant cat cutouts she made herself. It meant the world to us and showed just how thoughtful and genuinely caring she is! Her content creator package is totally worth it. It let us see parts of the day we missed in the moment and gave us memories we did not even realize were being made. Monique made our wedding feel effortless, personal and unforgettable in every way!

Planning from Chicago certainly presented some challenges, but nothing I hadn't faced before, plus Turner Hall is like my home away from home. So, maneuvering between all the drop-off and pick-up times from Relics Rentals and Tablescapes, to helping facilitate the first look in none other than the private rooftop terrace at The Trade Hotel 🤩 that's exactly what I'm here for! To take all of that off your plate, so all you have to focus on is getting ready & making the most of your big day! Also… we all know my favorite memory were those last-minute cutouts I made of your cats to join you on the dance floor 😼💃 I live for those little surprises!
