Yes! I have planned many bridal & baby showers and love handling smaller more intimate events. They also deserve a lot of care & attention.

Do you take on multiple weddings in a day or weekend?

No, I only take 1 wedding or event per weekend so that you are my only client and my attention in undivided.

How much time should we expect to spend with you?

We will start with an initial phone call to see if we are a good fit for each other. Once you have signed, we set up a more extensive consultation closer to a month out from your wedding. There we will discuss where you are at in the planning process and how I can be of service leading up to the big day. I will also attend the final walk-through, if schedule allows, and will assist with your final floorplan & timeline. Then the day-of you receive 8 hours on site at the venue, with additional hours available if needed.

Describe your experience. How many weddings have you planned, and what are they like? Any specialties?

I have 20 years of event experience. I have worked for a large catering company as the lead wedding sales person and in my time there I completed over 100 weddings and many more NFP & corporate events on top of that. I have also worked with several amazing wedding planners in the past, and dozens of venues all over the city and suburbs. I am finally taking the leap to start working as an independent wedding planner and I hope to assist you with your big day!

What is wedding planner vs. a coordinator?

A wedding planner typically is hired from the very beginning and helps couples with every detail of planning. A wedding coordinator usually comes in about a month out to help take over the vendor management and bring to life the wedding that you have worked so hard on planning. A coordinator helps with the day-of items, coordinating vendor load-in, assisting with setting up your day-of items per your exact vision, which allows you and your family to enjoy every moment of your big day without having to deal with all of the details yourselves. I've always loved the name Arlow and when I searched for it's meaning, I saw one interpretation was "Between two hills". I personally feel like that is the engagement period, you are moving from "single" to "married" and planning this occasion to celebrate your next chapter in your lives together.

What weddings & events are a good fit?

I love assisted alternative couples with weddings off the usual path as well as smaller, more intimate gatherings. What is intimate to me? Usually around 120 people or less. But I am open to all weddings and sizes too!

Description	As a wedding coordinator, I typically join the wedding planning process 1 month from the big day; corralling your vendors, attending a final walkthrough (pending availability) or a final wedding call, and coordinating with you the day-of items (card box, place cards, etc). The day-of your wedding I am at the venue helping with vendor load-ins, placing out your items, and keeping you on track with the timeline.	For elopements, this is a personal discussion to decide what level of assistance you need in planning. Anywhere from helping with photo shoot locations and vendor recommendations to traveling around town with you and helping keep you on track. Lets chat if you are planning an elopement in Chicago!
