Hi, I’m Dawa. With a background in fine arts and over 200 celebrations captured, I view your wedding day as a living story. My approach blends journalistic honesty with a refined editorial touch, creating a relaxed experience that lets you stay present. I’m a big believer in being flexible and keeping the energy light because when you’re having fun and feeling at ease, that’s when the most effortless, timeless moments happen. While I focus on capturing moments as they naturally unfold, I’ll also gently guide you with poses and direction when needed, so you never feel awkward or unsure in front of the camera.

    NYC wedding

    KND Fotos was one of the first vendors we booked for a few reasons - first, the portfolio speaks for itself and was exactly the modern, romantic, slightly editorial vibe we wanted. Second the business name being KIND and language Dawa introduced themselves with really spoke to how he and his team works and it was exactly what we needed to feel comfortable. Not only did we use his shots for our invites and matchbooks, we definitely plan to book future sessions when our family grows and we do vow renewals etc. Book him and you won’t regret it!

    Exceeded all expectations!

    Our experience with KnD was absolutely phenomenal. Your full wedding gallery is typically delivered within 6–7 weeks after the wedding. You’ll also receive a set of edited sneak peeks within a few days so you can relive the highlights right away.

Your wedding will always be photographed by Dawa, founder and lead photographer of KND Fotos. Depending on the package you choose, I’ll be joined by an experienced second photographer from my trusted team.

I’ve photographed weddings across the U.S., including Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Texas, and the East Coast, as well as internationally in Nepal, Germany, and Finland.
