Garuda Blue

Garuda Blue is the hip and premier jazz and party band of the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in authentic, high-quality jazz and party music for weddings, corporate functions, events, etc. Composed of the finest young jazz musicians around, the band prides itself in delivering high-quality, sophisticated, and authentic jazz and party music for any occasion. With slick original arrangements of well-known jazz tunes, burning solos, foot-stomping party music, as well as a youthful, fun, and hip attitude, the band is sure to bring good vibes and positive energy to any event.

Garuda Blue is not a cookie cutter wedding band. The band is creatively unique with its own sound. Not affiliated with any agencies, Garuda Blue is an actual band with its own static personnel complete with their own individual personalities. We are a self-run business among close friends.

    Everyone loved them!

    Book Garuda Blue if you want your guests to have an unforgettable time at the wedding reception! We knew having them play would be worth the investment, their music added a completely elevated aspect to the party. Highlight was definitely saxophone solo on the dance floor during the last song. So hype! Abe was such a timely and thorough communicator, which I really appreciated considering we planned the wedding in 5 months! This band is a bay area gem.

    Don’t hesitate for an unforgettable wedding

    I’ve been to many weddings and live music absolutely elevates the wedding compared to using a dj. But even amongst live bands, Garuda Blue is just top of the top composed of jazz musicians who all have their own flair and soul to their music. Their music is original and never the same and having them play at our wedding may have been the single best choice. From cocktail hours to dancing, the live instruments and absolutely stunning vocalist makes you really feel like you are at somewhere special. They’re also absolutely professional and kind and personable. I can’t say enough good things about them. Yes if you get a dj it’s cheaper, but you will miss out on a magical night filled with real music and what is life without real music. Don’t hesitate to think if it’s worth it or not because real great live music can transform an ordinary event to a magical one.

    The best live band!

    Garuda Blue was one of the highlights that made our wedding day so much more memorable and special! Worth the investment! From the very beginning, communication with the band manager, Abe was very easy and he was always very prompt. He listened to what we wanted and what we envisioned our wedding day to be, and took care of the rest. All of the band members were very warm, professional yet down to earth, and extremely talented musicians! Our first dance song we requested was "Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat." Having a live band performed this song under the stars was just chef's kiss. Everybody, i mean, EVERYBODY had the best time on the dance floor, singing and belting out songs alongside the main singer. Lots of memories were made on the dance floor, thanks to Garuda Blue. I cannot recommend Garuda Blue highly enough! Thank you for making our wedding day the best day ever!

    Just Wow

    Just wow! Garuda Blue was the absolute BEST band we could have asked for. These guys are professional jazz musicians that happen to do weddings and not the cookie cutter wedding bands that happen to do some jazz. Their communication leading up to the wedding was prompt, professional, and concise, which put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the day of, their performance was nothing short of exceptional - they played incredible jazz solos and during the dance party they got everyone dancing to top 40 hits. As top-tier jazz musicians with their own original arrangements, they truly elevated our wedding reception and made it a night to remember. We highly recommend Garuda Blue to any couple looking for the best in live music and entertainment for their special day.
