There was some confusion around the process of actually getting assigned a day-of coordinator due to lack of communication, which added some stress around the 3-week mark. Once we had that sorted out and we were actually paired with our coordinator, everything went super smoothly and we were extremely happy with the service we received. We were on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator and ultimately it was the best decision we could've made. Kumbah was incredible and our wedding would've been a wreck without her!

I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found Amalia and Jenna from butterfly effect weddings!! I purchased the Day-Of Coordinator service, hoping that I’d be able to take the decorating, last minute organization, and vendor communication off my plate after everything was planned and booked. But these two experts did this, and SO much more. They helped create and edit the whole wedding timeline, took over communication with vendors starting 7 days BEFORE the wedding, put together my very complicated favor table without a hitch, offered to create signage, ran the music for our ceremony and cocktail hours, and they even did a last minute transport of my wedding bouquets and boutonierres because they were delivered to the wrong building. But most importantly, they made me feel like I could relax and fully enjoy the busy wedding day, and be super present with all my guests, family, friends, and husband. Hiring Natalie as our DOC was truly the BEST decision we made for our wedding! As a super type-A bride, I felt confident handling the planning myself, but I knew having a DOC would be helpful for executing everything on the actual day of. What I didn’t realize was just how stressful wedding planning would get in the last few months, and what a blessing it was to have Natalie there to help us along the way! She built our timeline, helped us keep track of every item we needed to bring to the venue, and reminded us of countless little details we would have otherwise forgotten. She even attended our final walkthrough at the venue to go over logistics with our maitre’d and ensure everyone was on the same page. On the wedding day, I was truly able to shut off my brain and be fully present while Natalie handled everything. She kept our schedule on track, communicated with all our vendors, led our ceremony rehearsal, and was by our side whenever we needed her—part coordinator, part therapist, part hype woman, and genuinely a friend. We honestly can’t imagine the day without her! On top of all that, she designed & built our seating chart, welcome sign & bar signs, and she KILLED it!! If we could give her a million stars, we would! We loved having Sarah as our wedding planner! We used her as our day of coordinator for our wedding at Rosewood Farms in September. As someone who thought they were an organized person, Sarah exceeded our expectations of what organized looks like. We had our first meeting with her about 6 weeks prior to our wedding day. I went into the meeting feeling nervous and anxious about all the things we had left to do and all the details that still needed to be decided on. Sarah gave us great advice on linens (I’ve never thought about linens in as much detail until I met Sarah lol), timeline, table layout, and all of the logistics throughout the day. We left our first meeting having our entire wedding day timeline planned out from the moment we got to the venue at 8am until we left at 10pm. Safe to say we left that meeting feeling much better and knew that we were in great hands. Fast forward to our wedding day and we can confidently say that it was everything we dreamed of. Sarah executed my vision of what I wanted our reception space, cocktail hour, and ceremony space to look like perfectly. She made sure we were taken care of all day long. She had our cocktail hour food and drinks ready for us right after the ceremony and made sure that we got our preferred drinks right before last call. She kept everything on schedule and I don’t think we had a single hiccup all day long (and even if we did we didn’t know about it). It also helps when all of your vendors have worked together multiple times and get along great. We had such a great team! On top of giving us our perfect day, Sarah is also the sweetest person to work with! She supported our decisions and gave her input and expertise when we needed it. I felt comfortable giving her creative discretion because I felt like she listened and understood my vision in our meetings. I would highly recommend Sarah for any wedding planning services! She is organized, attentive, supportive, hard working, and easy to get along with! I can’t thank her enough for giving us our perfect day!

Andree Collective did day-of-coordination for our wedding in October 2024. I’ll admit we felt like we had a pretty simple wedding already and were worried DOC would be excessive, but we took everyone’s advice and hired the day-of-coordinator anyway. Frankly, it was an easy decision to hire them given they’re a social enterprise (the opportunity to deploy a budget for a bigger purpose? I’m sold). Ultimately, we could not imagine our day without their help. We did a lot of DIY on our wedding and had our friends & family step up in some big ways so not only did Andree Collective help ease our stress on our wedding day, they went above and beyond making sure that our friends and families who had roles to play in our day were also comfortable and ready for the day. In addition, besides being incredibly helpful and thoughtful to us (B&G), even our families commented on how much easier and stress-free the day was, because we had Andree Collective around to help make sure everything went smoothly. Just to call out a few of the invaluable tasks they helped with: pre-planning to make sure we were on track in the month leading up to the day by creating the Day-Of-Timeline and doing all the legwork of finalizing details with vendors, showing up early on the Day-Of to make sure everything was situated and set up properly, helping corral family and friends to where they need to be for photos and just generally answering questions so that we didn't have too, helping to herd the cats to their dinner tables, and keeping tabs on what was going on throughout the event and reporting back so that we knew what was going on, but already working on a solution (like when we couldn't find the spare trash bags at the venue!). I could go on, but honestly, consider hiring a DOC and especially consider hiring a DOC who is giving back to the community. Andree Collective was truly are worth every single penny. It is your big day, you deserve to feel like a guest of honor at your party, not a host.

Woodzi began her artistic career studying classical painting at Tyler School of Art, but the COVID-19 pandemic shifted her focus to community and connection. She began organizing local events in South Philadelphia, including block parties, fundraisers, and weddings, which deepened her appreciation for shared experiences. Now, as an event coordinator by day and artist by night, Woodzi uses her creativity to inspire and uplift communities, aiming to leave every space better than she found it through collaboration and positivity.

My partner and I were shopping around for wedding coordinators ready to meet some pretty challenging constraints: a very tight budget, a pretty large guest count, a 3 day celebration, and a huge number of room flips to meet the different components of our ceremonies. Woodzi not only rose to the occasion, with excitement and aplomb, but delivered on all fronts beyond what we could have imagined. She took our floor plans (which were, perhaps, unreasonable) and rather than contort our vision to something more pragmatic, found creative ways to execute on the ideas we had, building out a space that could be flipped upwards of 3 times in a single day, hosting the maximum number of people our venue could allow, and still having space for a sizable dance floor. Working with our many friends who were keen to volunteer, she was able to delegate tasks with true expediency, finding ways to string hundreds of feet of lights and chiffon from the ceiling, building out a makeshift stage, and making the dinner settings so unique the space felt new every time people walked in. Working with a the large number of vendors we had, she took on all the coordination of our meals and service staff, so much so the point person that I'm not sure a single logistical ask was made of myself or my partner the whole weekend. Beyond all of this, Woodzi answered these magnificent asks with a kindness and generosity that never left us feeling stressed or frenzied. We really couldn't have asked for more; an indubitably competent individual who made our weekend a remarkable success.
