Among the large family group were our twins who would’ve been an absolute nightmare had we stuck with the original time slot we agreed to. The photographer was so kind and flexible and showed up the next morning on short notice to accommodate our group. Not only does my mom hate having her photo taken, our family pet has been sick with cancer for some time now and they did such a wonderful job capturing all of the love and joy surrounding my mom and our beloved pet. “I could write a whole detailed review just on my engagement shoot. I’ll save you all the time and focus on my wedding, but they went above and beyond, spent the whole day with us, and gave us such stunning engagement shoot pictures! We had three people on our photo and video team (two taking photos and one switching between photo and video), Allie, Josh, and Euclid. They were absolutely amazing and have honestly become friends at this point. They make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and bring such good energy to the day. We ran about an hour behind schedule, and while I felt we had to rush because of that, it was completely to no fault of theirs. They handled it so professionally and with such grace that they somehow managed to bust out all the photos we needed and get us back on track. I had wanted a relaxed, candid feel, but because we were short on time, it ended up being more structured. Still, they made sure to capture all the in-between moments while getting every important posed shot we wanted. I wasn’t sure if I felt we would have everything we were looking for because of the time constraint, but once we got the photo gallery back I was STUNNED. I don’t think I could have asked for more or better pictures! It was everything I could have imagined and better even while running behind!! They are true professionals and people wranglers. We had a big wedding party and my husband has a large family, but they were so organized and on top of everything that we actually finished family portraits early and made it to cocktail hour ahead of schedule. Alli was such a calming presence throughout the day. When I started to stress about running behind, she reassured me that we had plenty of time and helped me breathe and refocus. Even when we realized a few shots were missing due to time constraints, they quickly pulled us aside after family photos to make sure we got them done. They run like clockwork. They know exactly what needs to get done, how to make it happen efficiently, and how to make everything look effortless. Anytime I needed something, they were right there, even carrying my chapstick around for me. All of this AND we got our ENTIRE GALLERY less than a month after our wedding!! This team is incredibly talented, organized, and kind. I’m so grateful to have had them on such an important day.”

“I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. My fiance and I truly cannot recommend her enough, and we are excited to work with her again in the future. She is truly an artist, and any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with her!”

“We are extremely thankful for Erin! She came in as though we have been great friends for many years. She introduced herself and went right to work. She referred to the list we discussed of photos we wanted and added numerous additional suggestions that helped us to get some amazing wedding day photos. My husband is not one to show a lot of emotion on camera, but Erin ensured that we did actions that he was not focused on the camera, but just enjoying the moments which allowed us to catch some very beautiful and memorable wedding day photos. She took many different positions, areas, and lighting to ensure we were getting the best options despite the weather not cooperating on the day. It's important to note that right before our wedding is when WNC was seriously affected by flooding and catastrophic damages. Even though Erin lives in an area that was heavily affected, she maintained communication, and while we were worried about her safety, she reassured us she'd still be available for our wedding. If that doesn't say professionalism, I don't know what else to say! She was very kind and thoughtful, and her calming and positive energy helped keep my anxiety at bay on what could have been an an incredibly stressful day. When it came time to preview the photos, Erin and I communicated about style options, and Erin showed available options to ensure the photos were everything I could hope for. Overall, we couldn't have been any happier with Erin and her photography. She is amazing and professional and did a wonderful job. And the photos were more than we ever could have hoped for. If you are looking for a photographer for your special day, there is no doubt in my mind that Erin will exceed every need, want, and hope you could possibly have.”
