I'm an award winning photographer based in Wilmington and have be voted Community’s choice photographer for the last 3 years. I specialize in creating emotional, true-to-color wedding images that feel just as meaningful years later as they did in the moment. My style blends natural light with creative flash photography to capture both the soft intimate moments and the fun high-energy memories of your day. I’m not just there to take photos — I’m there to help you feel comfortable, confident, and fully present while preserving your story in a genuine way.

I'll be more than your photographer — I’ll be your biggest cheerleader, dress fluffer, timeline helper, and calm in the chaos. I guide couples through the entire experience so you never have to worry about what to do in front of the camera. From emotional candids to dramatic flash portraits, I focus on creating photos you can truly feel. Highly recommend
We used Misty Lynn for our wedding photography on 4/30/26 at Belle Vue Wilmington, and we couldn’t be happier with our pictures. From the very first time I reached out, she was incredibly responsive, kind, and generous—she even offered referrals for other vendors we still needed. As the wedding got closer, she checked in to confirm details and arrival time, which gave us so much peace of mind. On the day of, she made a point to make eye contact with me as soon as she arrived so I knew she was there and getting set up. I’ve never enjoyed taking pictures, but Misty’s fun, laid‑back vibe made the entire experience surprisingly enjoyable. We were told to expect about a two‑month turnaround, but we received our full gallery earlier than expected—and she even sent sneak peeks later that same night. The value of what we received for the price was phenomenal. I highly recommend Misty to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, thoughtful, and truly wonderful to work with.

Oozes Magic!
Misty is made of pure magic. The energy and happiness she brings to your photoshoot is contagious and shows in all the pictures she takes. She recently was the photographer for my son’s wedding and she elevated the bar for every photographer in the area. Not only does she take breathtaking staged photos, but more importantly, the candid photos she takes helps you relive every single laugh, tear and potentially funny mishap of that weird uncle you might have for years and years. There is no other..
From our first conversation, Misty Lynn Photography made us feel so at ease with her consistent and open communication. She brought a fun energy to the entire process, which made planning feel exciting rather than stressful. Her knowledge of timing and positioning for shots really showed on our wedding day. She knew exactly where to stand and when to capture those special moments. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and have this fairytale quality that still takes our breath away. More Than Photos — Pure Magic
I've had the pleasure of watching this woman hone her photography skills for several years. She is absolutely incredible. She has taken boudoir photos for me, couples photos for my husband and I, and even photographed my mother's wedding. She is hilarious, engaging, and a brilliant photographer.
