Hi, I'm Stephanie! I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Durham, serving all of North Carolina. Real life is messy, chaotic, and beautiful, and I try to capture that in my work. My style of photography uses a documentary and photojournalism approach, in order to carefully curate an album that is uniquely you ✨

A story-teller at heart, I shy away from being in the forefront posing and directing. Instead, my goal is to tell your story while being as unobtrusive as possible. Since I believe your wedding day should be about the experience, not forced smiles and poses, my approach allows you to be yourselves and spend your day celebrating your relationship with your friends and family.

    Stephanie covered our small wedding at Lantern restaurant in Chapel Hill, NC. She was friendly and professional and promptly delivered lovely, natural photos. In addition to the traditional shots of us as a couple, we really appreciate the way she captured the interactions between us and our guests. The photos really show the joy and fun we had that day!

    Stephanie did a great job with our wedding photos. She captured a lot of laughs and personality in the pictures. She was even able to get some great shots of our dogs - who are pretty impatient. We were very happy with the editing as well. Overall, it was a fun experience to work with Vidr Photography and we would happily use them again in the future!

    Vidr Photography was amazing to work with for our summer wedding! Stephanie was easy going and understanding of our wedding style (small size, games, karaoke, casual food/drinks) and the types of candid photos we were hoping for. She took some of my absolute favorite pictures from our wedding day and got them back to us in a very reasonable amount of time. I love that she not only got great images of the people and activities we completed but also of the venue! I'm glad I'll have these pictures to look back on forever. I will definitely be hiring Vidr Photography again for my May (2021) Ph.D. graduation photos!
