Working with Danie and Brian from Nova Vista Photography was a truly wonderful experience! Their vibrant personalities, incredible work ethic, and genuine care for us as a couple shone through at every stage of our wedding journey (on and leading up to April 11, 2026). They went above and beyond to capture more moments than those we outlined in our preparatory timeline briefs, ensuring nothing candid and important was missed! Danie met us exactly where we were with warmth, and both she and Brian were incredibly accommodative! They adapted their approach from our stylized engagement shoot to capture the candid, heartfelt moments of our intimate wedding celebration with close family. Danie (the photography & style director) and Brian (main photographer eye) went beyond simple documentation, offering brilliant creative consultation to help us design a beautiful, one-of-a-kind wedding album. What we appreciated most was the level of planning, flexibility, and creativity they brought to our wedding: 1) 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: Danie was incredibly prompt with communication, making the entire planning process stress-free. 2) 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Danie spent countless hours perfecting our tight timeline, ensuring every detail was accounted for so the day ran smoothly with little to no lost time travelling between locations! 3) 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐲: When intense afternoon heat hit, they seamlessly pivoted on our cue to cut short our couple portraits to prioritize time for our 2yr old lab retriever shepherd pup shoot with Minnie—who made an unforgettable last-minute appearance at the reception as our bridesmaid! 4) 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: By attending our rehearsal at St. Catherine of Siena the day before, they ensured our 50-person group drone shot and altar portraits were executed flawlessly. 5) 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬: We were so touched that Danie and Brian shared a few "early rushes" with us and our parents before leaving the reception—a perfect, exciting end to our celebration. Danie and Brian are a wonderful warm-hearted duo, who genuinely support their couples. Our families are incredibly grateful to have had them by our side.
